View Full Version : How early can you call to book shore excursions?

I'm making my final payment next week---ugh, $6K really stings!

Once I've done that, when can I book shore excursions and Palo's, etc.? We're in a CAT 3 if that makes a difference.

We'll be about 80 days out after I pay the final. (My TA is going out on sick leave, and asked if I'd mind paying it off before she goes.) Will that be too early to call?

I called on the 60 day mark and was able to secure my excursions. Then they will get charged to your on board account.
You can look up all the excursions right on Disney.com and it also gives you the toll free number to book them through.

We paid our final pymt before the 60 day mark. With that, DU sent us the info with the forms for booking excursions. Being the planaholic that I am I tried booking right away. We were told you cant book until the 60 day mark.

Ohh yeah and I meant to add in my post, Palo's you can only do once you are on board. :)

I thought that concierge guests could book Palo's ahead of time. Does anyone know?

Our 60 day mark was April 30--we didn't find out you could call and book early (at that 60 day mark) until last Thursday, May 16--All we wanted to do was either dolphin encounters at Nassau or Freeport, but they were full--so call early--and have your reservation number ready too--took me an extra day to get that from the travel agent!
