My AP will expire next January when I'm at WDW for marathon weekend. I will not be renewing it :( Assuming there's an AP room discount at that time (obviously an "if," but I did get one this year), how will that affect my rate? The AP's last day is Saturday, and we'll probably be there Thursday-Monday.
This is a ways off, but it's puzzling me and I can't find the answer online!
I don't know the actual answer, but I'm going to say, as long as it is valid when you check in, you are fine. I can't imagine any other scenario.

Ditto. They have no way of knowing if you'll renew or not. I'd assume as long as all is good on check-in day, you'd be fine. Of course, all this is conjecture on my part.

Just remember that if you don't renew your pass, you won't be able to get into the parks after the expiry date.

Oh, I know ... I'll either have to stay out of the parks or purchase some kind of tickets (I have a feeling it will be option 2!). I can't imagine that renewing my AP will be the most cost effective option, though, since I think that will be my only visit in 2010. Probably some non-expiring passes will be best, since I don't ever envision a time when I won't be going back someday!
Thanks!

The last two trips I used AP rates booked over the phone, was not asked to show the pass at either check in.
I would be surprised if they don't allow for the AP rate throughout the entire stay. Especially if you book over the phone. On line, they know when my pass expires.
