Abd website changed its look today. I really like it. Check it out and see what you think. I especially liked under rates and dates that they tell you if the trip is out of early booking discounts (for ex., Quest for the West no longer has them available).
On another note, I got an email from Tauck Bridges a few minutes ago. They are discounting their tour of Cruising the Blue Danube by $1000 per person(children included). Tour runs at approx. $3000 per person, so that is 1/3 off! Spectacular deal and great company on which ABD was modelled. Just FYI!

I happen to really like the new layout. It's more streamlined.

I'm still exploring it, but I like the new layout, too. It just seems to be easier to navigate, and gives you more information in one spot. I like that it lists that the early booking rates are no longer available, too. I always thought that was mis-leading on the old website.
Wonder what other changes are in the works? :)

ETA: I also like that it says:Valid for bookings made at least 90 days prior to depature. The number of land packages available at these rates is limited.Much clearer now.

It whined about flash on my daughter's computer, but I love what they did with it.
Only thing I can really complain about is that there are no china pictures, but in the Junior Adventurers part there is a calligraphy page that shows you all of the brush strokes for a few of the words.

I know one of the people in one of the China pictures!
I could notice his head from anywhere.

I was looking at Southwest Splendors, and one of the 2 pictures at Arches National Park is of the Arch that fell last year and no longer exists! And it wasn't a part of the tour... :confused3

Call me skeptical, but I find it strange that every single date in some of the trips is no longer available for Early Booking discount....there are so many dates for Quest for the West, I think it would be impossible for every single date listed to have enough bookings to eliminate the discount. Also the Alaska and Canadian tours?? Something seems fishy to me. Other than that, I really like the new layout of the site.

Hey Hack! Did you recognize one of the guys within the Disneyland photos???? I still think that is one of the great shots!
Also, very cute picture of Diana!!! Very cute!!!

I know. I happen to love those pics. Quinn is also in one.
I'm surprised they still love me enough to put me in there.
Also, all of the pics were taken on my trip, so there are no fake shots, and those are no fake smiles.

The cancelled dates are still listed - at least the June 6 Australia trip that was cancelled is still there.
One the Backstage Magic page, that's Michael, our fabulous guide on the Costa Rica trip last year, whose taking a photo in the background on the picture of the woman with the movie clapboard.

Yeah. Since Michael works at Disneyland when he doesn't do ABD trips, he was one of the guides for the Dress Rehearsal tour along with Diana. They were training Robyn and Quinn to take over the job for the first official tour. That is why all four of them are in the picture, including part of my aunt.
I wonder why they still have the cancelled dates listed? Someone said in another post that the last week of July was sold out for Ireland but the date is still showing the regular rate.
I don't think the site is up to date. I wish it was so we could check how our trips are doing.

Quest for the West has always been a very popular location and the EBR have always sold out very early on. This is a tour that is short in dates offered because of the location.

Don't know if it's true this year, but in the past, the early booking has not been available after December something, no matter how booked they were. It's meant to encourage us to, well, book early.

This past Saturday we booked Backstage Magic for 12/28/09 and I was surprised that there were early booking discounts available for our family of 5..but I'm not sure if that was what you meant:confused3:)
We needed to book something to get us out of the winter doldrums here. It's minus 15 now with a wind chill of minus 35:faint: We figure New Year's Eve would be fun with Disney:)

ABD offered the early booking discount last year in May for certain adventures. That is when I booked the Costa Rica trip with the discount.

I noticed the new website leaves out the text about Junior Adventurer programs. No mention of any of their special activities just for Juniors. We found that very helpful in our previous trip - but a little surprising that it is nowhere to be found on any of the current trips. I wonder if this is just an omission or perhaps Disney is withdrawing some of the special touches?

Thanks for the information. It looks good. I like that. I think it will make good impact. The change is refreshing.
