My family did not want to have me try for 100 pounds, since that would have put me at 190. So I listened to their counsel and adjusted it down to 80 pounds, which puts me at 210 pounds, and the last time I was there (summer of 2001) it felt great, so that is that.

I will keep you posted through my signature.

See you in January during the marathon weekend.

That sounds like a great "compromise." And if you felt great at 210, that might be your happy weight. Plus, don't forget, muscle weighs more than fat! Good luck, and keep us posted on your training! :cool1:

Great idea! Once you get there you can decide if you want to do anything else. You can do it!
