We have a Party of 12... 4 of the 12 are DVC members and will be using there points for our cruise/vacation. My wife and I are AP holders. We are trying to book this vacation with as little corners as possible. We thought about splitting the 6 people up into two rooms but one of the couples out of those six want there own room (this would be fine if we weren't trying to book one big package between the 6 of them to keep the cost at a minimal) so now to my question... I know that I can book 3 rooms on Disney property and get the AP Discount so if I did this and put two people in each room then booked the cruise separatly can I do the same on the ship or does there have to be a AP holder in each room??? Any help with my confusing question would be great !

In the past, they would allow a shipboard credit with proof of annual pass but only on the land/sea combos that are booked as a package through the cruise line. I dont know if they are still doing this or not.
However, they are offering a 3 night cruise in January of 2003 for passholders. They are discounting this cruise for annual passholders. The date is 01/23/2003 to 01/26/2003. I assume that you just need to ask for the passholder special rate on this cruise.

Just to clarify, the AP credit on the land/sea packages was designed to give you credit for the passes that are included in the package, since you would not need them if you had an AP.
The annual passholder cruise in January has a code of APC and you will be required to show proof that you are a passholder at check-in.
