We are booked on the Wonder this August with DD, and while we weren't thinking of doing Palo for this trip (DD is apprehensive about going to the kids' clubs alone) seeing this menu item on Barb's site has caught my eye. Has anyone had it? How is it? Details please... I am a sucker for all things vanilla :) Maybe we could swing a late reservation for desserts.

This is the reply I got from wsurrettema, when I asked about it. It sounds interesting. :)
The sweet pizza was really something that I thought would *not* interest me, but it was really quite excellent!
I'm not quite sure of the exact ingredients, but here's the best description I can recall. It start with a very thin pizza crust (the same as they use for all the grilled pizzas at Palos brunch). Then, they spread a thin layer of a fruit spread (I think it's a currant jelly) and add extremely thin slices of fruit. On top of that they add freshly chopped mint, bits of toasted (pine?) nuts, and tiny dollops of of sweet marscapone cheese. It's then grilled like all of the other pizzas. I'm not much of a desert person, but man that was good... actually, *all* of the Palo's brunch deserts were great!
Hope this helps....

I love the sweet pizza! I can't wait to do the brunch again so we can have it!

Thanks for your response! That sounds delicious. So that's a brunch dessert, not a dinner desert?

I thought it was dinner since Ive seen it posted on the dinner menu, but maybe they do it for both?

I don't remeber if it was offered at dinner, but we had it at brunch.
