The children's menu seems pretty limited for the DCL sit-down restaurants. Can you order simple kid-type food off the menu? I'm thinking of things like cheese pizza, mozzerella cheese sticks, pancakes (for dinner!), french fries, plain pasta, peanut butter sandwhich (no jelly), etc.

Most of the items you mentioned as dinner alternatives can be found through room service or the pool side food stands (they also have chicken fingers). Although our son never complained about his choices he's not a picky eater so we did'nt need to try to order anything else. I'm sure you could bring something from the poolside into the dining room (this would only work if you have main seating as they close at 7 I think). Good luck!

You can also get those items in the restaurants during dinner. They had Mickey raviolis on the menu and I ordered them for my daughter w/o red sauce just butter and parm., also chix fingers are available and pizza. They will get you whatever they can. Very accomodating.

I understand that kids can order off the adult menu-and can order a plain chicken breast. I am actually looking forward to encouraging my sons, 12, 12 & 8, to try new things. The 8 yo will probably enjoy this the most. One twin will probably ask for the plain steak most nights

Our kids it will be their third cruise with us on June 22 and they both enjoyed both times trying new foods. OUr DS is 17 (the day we set sail) and he also enjoys ordering a steak if nothing else appeals to him, he loves his steak and baked potatoe. Our DD (13) loves scallops and all kinds of vegetables, that is the place to try something out of the ordinary or something plain if you like. Last year we were in Palo's and our friend John asked for a shrimp cocktail and the waiter went down to Lumiere's and brought him up 2 shrimp cocktails and the were not even on Palo's menu. That is service!!!
