New ship??

I know this has been discussed before, but has anyone heard any more rumor about a possible new ship? I was just curious to see if there were any new rumors!

No new rumors. Disney announced a while back that they had formed a design team to discuss a new ship, but that's as far as it has gone (or at least as much as has been announced). No construction has been announced nor has a shipyard been named.

On our cruise last week our server said that Disney has decided to get a new ship by 2005 and it would be named the Disney Dreams

That's been a cast member rumor for at least a year.

WebmasterMichelle is correct in her description of the current status. Alas, there's no contract for a new DCL ship yet.

My husband went to one of the Magic's Navigator Series programs in March. The group was told that plans for a third trip had been put on hold after 9/11, but it was now felt that tourism had picked up enough that a team has been reconvened to discuss the details, including location/itinerary.
