SANTA FE, N.M. -- Residents in Santa Fe, N.M., are getting a chance to flush for free.
The city is giving away free toilets as a new way to ease water problems this summer.
Hundreds of people waited in line this weekend to sign up for the low-flow toilets.
One Santa Fe politician said about 600 people registered to pick up one or more of the $75 toilets.
One retired couple signing up for a free loo said the toilet program is a good way to save water and money at the same time.
Homeowners will have to pay for installation.
