Based on the advice in some of the threads here, I called tonight and was told that I have some sort of code, told me the code letters, but couldn't tell me what it was for. He said I could call on Thursday to find out what it is/use it. Any ideas?? I'm soooo hoping for a 40% off!

I had the pin offer. However I didn't take the pin with me to work. I told them what the pin was for and she said that she could give me a code that was similar. I was able to book with this code today. I wonder if this is the code that is suppose to come out.:confused3

I can't wait to call tomorrow and find out what it is. When I called I honestly didn't think I'd have anything. I was put on hold for 10-15 minutes while the guy called guest services.

After reading the FAQ sticky last night, I got a "code" (3 letters), not a PIN. So, while I'm hoping for a really good discount, I'm not holding my breath. *fingers crossed* I could so use some pixie dust! It's been too long since our last trip!

ohhh so if it really is a 'code' then it will be for public! (now whether it is for the public who are members of disney visa, or who are residents of florida, i don't know...lol)

I hate to sound like a downer, but I called a couple weeks ago and was given a 3 letter code too and told it was the 40% off. The CM even gave me a quote on a package, and when I asked him if I could call back to book after we were sure of our dates, he said I could just give them the 3 letter code for the discount.
Well when I called back the CM told me she did find the 3 letter code, but I needed to have the 13 digit pin along with it in order for it to apply. Needless to say I was really mad b/c the first CM gave me the 40% rate.

Anyway, I guess my point is...I'm not sure a 3 letter code really means much. I hope I'm wrong! I hope its a public code, but I'm not getting my hopes up - I learned the hard way.

This exact same thing is happening to me. I called last week and they told me that I have a code but its not valid, yet, so to call back next week. I called today and red off my pin number and they said that it is going to be valid tomorrow (THURSDAY) and the travel dates are from March 1st to June 6th. They can't tell me how much of a discount it is, yet, but its a discount off of the Magic Your Way Package. They weren't able to tell me the discount becuase they couldn't price it out, since its not valid until tomorrow. THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE! I want to know:)

a woman I work with gets pincodes all the time and has me come read them. She got one on Monday that was $794 per adult for 7 days 6 nights including value resort, tix and dining, and then children stay, play and dine for free. Maybe that is what is coming your way?

Do you just call and give them your name and they can tell if you have a code attached?

Yeah kind of. You have to call and enter all the information on the phone then they ask for your home phone number and name. It's a process that can take awhile if the call center is busy. I think I was on hold once for 20 mins before talking to a CM.

I like the $500 gift card -- but I'm not traveling (or hoping to travel) during those times. Still waiting for my October PIN code!!!

Mine was something for March - June. It was a pin code and the very nice CM I spoke with looked it up for me. It was actually tied to my maiden name at my parents' address. I asked if it was for a percentage off, she said yes, but didn't say anything more since it didn't apply to my Nov/Dec booking. She did update all my information in the system so if anything came in it would go to my current address. I went ahead and booked my trip with hopes that a code will come out so I can upgrade to a deluxe.

Ahh well. I had already figured it wouldn't apply to me, but I do have hopes that there will be a little pixie dust in the future. Either way I'm just excited to have my trip booked!!!

Thanks!! I'll have to try that! I guess we'll have to use our old phone number though since the last time we went, that would have been the number we would have given them :p

Mine was for a $500.00 gift card when purchasing a minimum of 5 nights. Travel for March 1st - June 6th.

Is that the entire deal? Or is it on top of the 4/3 deal? I dont they dont normally stack, but for us the 4/3 is saving us more than the $500, so I'm wondering if this is a good deal or not...:confused3

I would like to know the details too ...

Is it a 500 card on a full priced package, on a room only or is it a 500 card with any package booked ... we have the 4 plus 3 deal booked now ...

Thanks for the info..

The offer I received today in my email was:

"Free $500 Disney Gift Card when you purchase this 5-Night/6-Day vacation package that includes room and Theme Park tickets.

$594 per adult, based on adult double occupancy in a standard room at a select Disney Value Resort. For stays most Sun.–Thurs. nights 3/1/09–4/16/09.

The number of rooms allocated for this offer is limited. One Park per day. Tickets must be used within 14 days of first use. No group rates or other discounts apply. Advance reservations required. Offer is nontransferable.

Dreaming of other Disney Resort rates?
When you call, be sure to ask about packages for other lengths of stay that may also include a Disney Gift Card. Gift card value will vary based on length of stay. Also ask about great rates for other room types or Resorts, including 1 and 2 bedroom villas with homelike amenities at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts for stays most nights 4/17/09–6/6/09.

Disney Destinations, LLC "

SOOooo 2 adults x $594 = $1,188 total cost

Two adult 6 day Base MYW tickets = $480

Then room cost is $1,188 - $480 = $708/5 Nights = $141.60 Night (which is rack rate of $125 + resort/room taxes)

With the Gift Card being $500 the deal basically gives free food for 2 adults for the 6 days - figuring the Disney Dining Plan is $40/adult per day (6*$80 = $480).

Seems like quite a deal for what is typically a crowded time.

Yes! Let us know how it goes for you! I can say I've accidently given them my cell phone AND my home phone at different times and they were still able to look up our information. In fact they never even said anything about using the other phone number. It really is based on your name.

HTH and hope you have a great code you can use!
