I was in Poundland today and they are selling a 2 pack of security wrist straps. These attach to the childs wrist at one end and to your wrist at the other. They are brightly coloured and pretty strong. I thought it was just the thing to keep my DS and DD close by on our next trip. :)

Excellent idea, even now I'm constantly checking on where mine are and the time we all resorted to yellow ponchos, I was a nervous wreck trying to keep track of them.:)

Can I just put out a cautionary shout to make sure that these straps are not used going on lifts, through turnstyles at rides. The consequences of them getting caught makes these somewhat dangerous :scared:

And the locals may laugh at you! :rotfl2:
When I was in Windsor a few years ago, these 2 French tourists near me stared in amazement as a mother went by with her child on reins. They turned and asked me "is this normal here?" I explained they were used quite often. They roared with laughter and said "comme un chien". :rotfl: They are obviously not popular in France.
