Due to the issues i had at DLRP a few weeks ago i sent a complaint to Disney and today they sent Kyra a Winnie the Pooh soft toy and a very long letter apologising for the mis communication etc and that if i contact them before my stay in September they will make sure my stay goes smoothly.

Kudos to Disney, Kyra was made up with the soft toy. Really wasnt expecting anything except a sorry. :thumbsup2

LOL! Or maybe some sort of loyalty card :rotfl2:

That's a point...if only DLRP had a loyalty card we'd be rich!

Good to know on this occassion that customer service from DLP is much improved.
I think you had the best attitude just looking for an apology.

There wasnt a thread hun.

Basically i had problems with Cast Members giving out wrong information which caused a problem at Disney Express, and i complained about the 50 euros they said it would cost for 1 balloon for Kyra after being told i wouldnt have to pay for anything and for the CM at reception being very rude.

No I didnt pay, and i explained that this was never mentioned when i emailed customer care about having a balloon in the room. I was then told that they would give Kyra something but they was out of stock and to come to reception the next day and it would be sorted but the CM at reception fobbed me off and tried to call me a liar.

Also I had no luggage tag to claim my bags back at Disney Express as reception took it when i checked in so i was told to just show my easy pass when collecting my luggage, but the CM at Disney Express wouldnt give me my bag as i needed the matching luggage tag. It took me about 20mins to get my suitcase back no thanks to being mis informed by Consierge at the hotel.

50 euros for a balloon? I'd expect it to be attached to a plushie and a bottle of champagne for that, plus hand-delivered by the main Mouse.:rotfl: I hate being made to look like a liar because of miscommunication. I can imagine you stood your ground though, Emma! lol

When the CM said 50 Euros i was like

I don't have anything bad to say about that CM it was the one i delt with the next day, he was more interested in getting me away from the desk rather than listening to me.

Considering how much you pay to stay there, you would expect to at least be listened to.;) How rude! I would have :faint: if they asked me for 50euros!

If i was asking for 5 or 6 balloons then maybe that price would of been justified but all i wanted was 1 balloon lol.

I'd expect more than a helium filled piece of foil for 50 euros!!!

Mind you at the moment I'd be delighted to get a response to my complaint :sad2:

It's actually now making it worse by them leaving it so long!

They are probably really looking into yours, mine wasnt really a serious serious complaint compared to yours.

wow emma!! that is good customer service - but tbh after how u were treated, its the least they can do!!!
i clearly remember u sayin about the balloon - *** i said how much, and u said that they mentioned no money and we agreed it was very nice of them - 50€ nice by the sounds of things!!! it is annoying, and as u say, u dont expect to be fobbed off when ur paying that much money - so the attitude is all wrong !!

john - thats very annoying about ur complaint - can imagine ur getting quite annoyed waiting - maybe wait another couple of days and contact them to chase it up - regardless of how serious the complaint it - its customer service to let the customer know whats happening - so a quick email sayin they are investigating it still - wudnt go amiss......

kinda wish id had a complaint as sum good results going on here :rotfl2:

Love it!

I'd rather have just not had the problem....I'll not tell Disney but it's actually benefitted us now as otherwise Matty wouldn't have been able to do EMH as we are staying off-site...not that I'll tell Disney that at all :thumbsup2
