Hello everybody, I'm back!
After my dissappontment last year about our cancelled trip, I'm really excited that we're going away for a short weekend trip!!
But this time I'm pregnant, so I'm wondering if I'll be able to go on any rides?!:confused3
I keep trying to remember if there a bars on some of the rides that might not be suitable for a lady with a bump, like PPF for example? Can anyone help??
TIA!!:goodvibes

Just started a thread to say Hi, then I noticed your post. :goodvibes
Congratulations on the baby news :thumbsup2
Lovely to see you back on DISboards and planning a trip, I'll let someone else answer the pregnancy questions, a lot of it will be common sense and dependant on your bump size - when are you due ?

Congratulations!

My 7 month pregnant wife went in December and was able to ride everything other than the rollercoasters.

She did find Flying Carpets a bit difficult but otherwise she was fine on anything other than rollercoasters,

Oh thanks you guys, that's a relief to hear capnJack, I'm not due til August, so when we go I won't have much of a bump, so shouldn't have any problems then, I must say it's great to be back!!

YAY DIS!

I really want to go on the Cars ride as when we last went we missed the opening by 1 DAY!!! so we're hoping to go on this time!

Nice to have you back.

One tip from Ellie for POTC is as the drops come along, brace your feet against the back of the seat in-front of you and then you won't move at all during the drop :thumbsup2

:rotfl2: I love going on POTC when there are people who haven't been on the ride before and the screams when you go down that first tiny drop always make me smile!

You guys are so lovely!
Thanks for the warm welcome back! And all the congrats!
We never went on POTC, looked a bit too dark for the kids, doubt we would go on this time either TBH, but I just can't wait to go back!

Do you think I'd be ok on Star Tours? I really wanted to do this last time but we never got round to it, but this time I'm preg so think it may be a nono, somebody tell me I can!

I wouldn't do Star Tours, there is quite a bit of jerking sideways and forwards - you have to wear a seat belt similar to a car lap belt. Just save it for the NEXT time you go.

Anyway - what am I thinking - CONGRATS and nice to see you back here. :)

Ah man! Was hoping I could do it but yes you're right, it is quite jerky isn't from what I can remember, (although it was in Japan in like 1994! LOL!)
It's good to be back, feels like I was never gone!

Congratulations ,ive done disney pregnant and went on lots although on the sign outside star tours it does advice not to ride if expecting and remember your feeding 2 so lots of popcorn ,Some people also say that babies can hear music in the womb so dont be surprised if he? or she ?comes out signing ''its a small world '' :rotfl: that could explain why my DD has always been disney obsesed:rotfl2:she was brainwashed from the very start

LOL! that's funny!
I mainly want to do al the rides we missed out on last time, like cars and pinocchio, and redo our faves like buzz, and dumbo.
But now i'm not sure when to go, i want to go before i get a big bump, but don't want to go when it's too cold, but the closer we get to summer, the more expensive it gets, what shall i do!!!??
Especially hubby will worry about the kids getting ill if it's too cold! Hoping the weather will turn mild end of feb/early march! Please God!

Hello :wave2:

and Congratulations :)

Great to see you back!

I did DLRP when I was 6m pregnant and it was fine to go on almost all the rides (except the thrills). So you'll be fine!

Enjoy :upsidedow
