For those who have done the dolphin swim in Nassau, how long a taxi drive is it from where the ship docks to Paradise Island Ferry Terminal? Does anyone know the different times available to swim with the dolphins. After the swim about how long do you need (purchase photos, etc., change clothes) to get ready to return to ferry?

The dolphin swim is definitely worth it. Much better than the dolphin encounter. The ride to the ferry dock on Paradise Island is about a 5 minute drive from the port. The ferry ride is about 20-25 minutes. There is plenty of time to walk around, take pictures, shop, change, etc. The ferry will let you know when it is time to go. The ferry can be seen from the property so you will be able to see what's going on. The ferry also brings visitors to The Blue Lagoon Island which is right next to Dolphin Encounters. I am pretty sure the ferrys run on a regular basis. Anyway, here is a link to their website. I have done the swim and the encounter and would definitely try to get booked for the swim. It was a great adventure. Get ressies now if you can. DCL has an allottment but if you can get a ressie now, even better.

There was a great trip report on the cruise board-quite awhile ago. I believe it was by Dave and Cathy in Canada. It was a great report and definately sounded worth it. Maybe do a search and find the thread.
