Are the double beds in Cheyenne bedrooms bigger than those in Santa Fe? I only as as the Disney website describes the room as "one large double bed with bunk beds"

I have never been at the Santa Fe but i can tell you the double bed at the Cheyenne is not a very big one.
My partner is quite big and there was not much room left for me LOL :rotfl2:

I thought all the hotels had the same size double beds, providing it was a room for 4 people. I can't say I noticed any difference between the Cheyenne, SL & HNY

Nope only thing I can think of at Cheyenne was that I stubbed my toe more than once on the bedstead, are they a different design somehow ? because I don't recall having a problem at the other hotels. :)

I didn't notice any difference in the size in the double beds at the Santa Fe and the Cheyenne - the Santa Fe beds are divan, and the Cheyenne are bedsteads, you know, they have wooden end bits. To be honest, I didn't notice the double beds at the Newport Bay Club being any bigger either. They are not big doubles - I'd say standard double size.

IMO when I first walked into the room in the Cheyenne I thought the beds were slightly smaller than the ones in the Santa Fe.

But I think its just the different styles.

I can't say I noticed any difference between The Cheyenne and The Sequoia Lodge either. They both seemed about the same to me :confused3

Aha ! That could be the cause of my toe stubbing problem.
We definately had a Divan at NPB, but thinking about it aren't SL bedsteads I'm sure I went hunting underneath for DS's toy dog, maybe SL beds have more room around them, then. :confused3

As we always request rooms with two beds we only had two trips where we had only one bed in the room.
The first time was at the Cheyenne in November 2008 (as there are no rooms with two beds at the Cheyenne)
And the second time was in June 2006 at the DLH as they had no rooms left with two beds.

And there is definitely a difference between Cheyenne and DLH. ;)
I would say in the Cheyenne the bed was 130cm (=1meter30) and in the DLH it was at least 180cm or even 200cm (1meter80/2meter).

If they all have the same matresses I would imaging that all the beds are the same size then. Just some are bedsteads others aren't

Maybe it's just me, but when I stayed at the Cheyenne last year I found that the bed cover (quilt) was way too small. It fitted the bed ok, but seemed to be the same size as the mattress - i.e. no overlap - so when 2 people got in we were fighting over it and there was a draught coming in!

I have to say though, the bed itself was very comfortable!!
