I'm sorry if this isn't the proper place for this but I was absolutely stumped about where to actually post. I get pretty bad motion sickness on any ride, big or little. What over the counter drug can I take to help? Is there anything that won't make me sleepy as well? Thanks in advance! :)

We use ginger (google Mythbusters motion sickness). It works v. well. Suck on ginger candies, chew ginger bears, take ginger pills. DH used to erp every time he went off shore. Now he's perfectly fine.

Ginger.

I have used sea bands. www.sea-band.com/seaband.htm
Works great once you get them in the right place!!!!

I've found that Bonine works pretty well. I think some of might depend on the cause of the motion sickness, though. If you've had a head injury, or have an inner ear issue, the meds might not work as well. Also, I've heard that bad vision (or not wearing your corrective lenses) can make motion sickness worse because if your eyes aren't focusing, then your ear/eye "matching" will be off.
