Haha, okay I just listened to the podcast and I laughed when you guys said it would be a young crowd watching the B52's- maybe I am wrong and maybe it will be, but we saw the B52's about 5 years ago when they came to our State fair and it was not really a young crowd. At the time I worked at a radio station that was working the event and my husband and I (who was my BF at the time) were seated right up in front and I didn't see many other young couples or really any other people our age (which was early twenties at the time). But since it was a fair, there were lots of older parents with their kids bouncing around (wired on cotton candy). But we had a good time, and people didn't stay in their seats much, you'll have fun- I was so close my ears were buzzing for two days after!

"Young people" is all relative. If I saw a crowd of people under 40, I'd think that the crowd is incredibly young.

Haha, that is true! Then I guess in that case, yes it could be an all young crowd :goodvibes

OK, I'm going to date myself here. I first saw the B52's in 1982 at a place called the Fountain Casino in NJ. I was 20. I would expect a crowd going to see the B52's to be round my age, mid to later 40s. I agree with Mindy, under 40 would be a very young crowd to me.

I saw them in Providence at a small place called The Living Room around the time their first album came out....1979, I think...could have been 1980, but they were getting pretty big by then. I remember them looking like this...

But the crowd looked a little more like this...
