Tuesday 30th December ‘08 (High 74F)

The girls decided to have a lie in today, so Paul & I were up at 6.10am and at Epcot at 7am for EMH, and boy, it was a bit chilly this early in the morning. We headed straight for Soarin’. The fastpass machines weren’t working, but thankfully a CM was handing some out, and he gave Paul 4 tickets. As the line for Soarin’ was huge, we decided to hop over to Test Track. The stand by line wasn’t too bad, so we joined the end of it and rode it. After TT we went on Mission:Space, and rode the more intense side of it (which I instantly regretted after another strong Mai Tai the previous evening:faint: )

Next we went over to Soarin’ where we used our fastpass, where unfortunately I stood behind an English women who constantly moaned about the ride (I really wanted to tap her on the shoulder and say ‘would you rather be going on Soarin’ or be in the freezing weather back home’) :confused3 . Anyway, she complained all the way through the ride (she sat next to me), and thankfully after having some breakfast (of an egg, cheese & bacon croissant and a breakfast platter – Mmm), we went back on Soarin’ without the moaning commentary all the way through it. After Soarin’, we rode Journey Into Imagination and then we headed back to the Pop to find out what the girls wanted to do (lazy mares http://bestsmileys.com/sleeping/11.gif)

Once they were changed and had some breakfast, we went to Wal-Mart for some supplies and then up to the Mall at Millenia (where I’m sure Kerry bought out half of Urban Outfitters)

I haven't written down where we ate today, so I assume it was in the Pop food court

The girls had decided to hit the Magic Kingdom for evening EMH (I think 11pm till 2am), so Paul & I had a wander around DownTown Disney, followed by an early night in readiness for our New Years Eve celebrations

Sounds like a nice relaxed day Mandy. What is there to moan about on Soarin' though. :confused3 Given the choice of going to work tomorrow or going on Soarin' I know which I would choose. :thumbsup2

Lovely relaxing day, I hate it if I am near any one that is moaning on and I cannot escape, ends up getting me irritated.

No matter how determined I am to stay chilled, someone's guaranteed to do something to wind me up - that woman on Soarin' is a classic example.

Obviously I'm a bit too old to buy any of the clothes in Urban Outfitters, but I think it's a great store and love to browse - I particularly love all the knick-knacks.

How can anybody moan about Soarin. Some people just do not know how to just relax, go with the flow and enjoy themselves. Glad you had another perfect day.
