Podcast Cruise - ParaSailing ----> UPDATE 1st post

Okay, it's getting close to time to sign up for excursions (Feb 9). Anyone interested in going parasailing. I'm going while we are at Castaway Cay- is anyone else interested? Any particular time? It seems like they do them every 1/2 hour starting around 9:30. Last time I went on the second one of the day - didn't go w/ the first in case we were late and I wanted to sleep in.

We'd all need to sign up under our own reservation, but if we could pick a time that a group wanted to go, I think it would be fun to go w/ our fellow podcasters.

Right now it's showing as $79 - IMHO money well spent, I was very nervous at first but it was amazing.

Okay, it's time to start booking, as of this morning they seemed to have all times available every hour from 9am to 3pm. What time does everyone want to sign up for, I'm thinking 9am or 10am.

Shhhh, don't tell my hubby, but I'm surprising him with a parasailing trip on Castaway Cay. We've never been, and I can't wait.

We definitely need to get a group together. I want to do it first thing in the morning because I don't want to eat before we go!! :crazy2:

Not yet. But I would like to. Even the simulated sky diving experience, like on I-drive.

I am in for parasailing but also a first time cruiser so I have to wait too. AND I have to check my travel health insurance. Apparently I won't be covered if I do "dangerous" activites like scuba diving or parasailing. DH will check his too - I hope I don't have to buy extra for the trip. One of DH's co-workers just recently had a mishap in Mexico so he should have an easy time finding out.

While I am not going on the podcast cruise I did the parasailing on a previous one. Very cool. Took a disposable camera up with me and was able to take some great pics of the ship and island. On the next cruise I go on this is something I would plan on doing. This time with my daughter. I say go for it.

Cool - would love to be added. When I was on the Magic two weeks ago, the 10 am slot had 20 people and they split us up into two different boats - 10 each, they are pretty small boats.
