Are these ever discounted? If so, how often? Just looking for general trends, I would be booking in 2010 and I'm trying to figure out whether two deluxe rooms or a villa would typically be more cost effective.
Thanks!

If you rent points it'd be a lot more affordable, there is a board here for renting points down by the DVC boards section

as far as reserving with CRO, my only past luck has been with AAA discount. i suppose one could also inquire about AP rates but i've never had success with my dates for that.

Villas are typically not released that far in advance to CRO.2 bdrs can be difficult to get at more popular DVC resorts.I have seen discounts but this was going thru AAA travel.Never had any luck getting discounts on DVC thru CRO.

On the bounceback from this past August I got 30% off a two bedroom villa at SSR. So instead of $545+tax a night it was only $382.00+tax. Much less than 2 deluxe rooms plus we have the living room and the full kitchen:thumbsup2
