We have 4 nine year olds and a two year old. We want to spend the day at the atlantis waterslides, but are concerned that the two year old won't be able to enjoy the day if she can't ride on anything:grouphug: . Does anyone have any experience on this?

The 2 year old will not be able to ride the waterslides BUT there are a ton of other things to do there-there is a great water play area perfect for the 2 year old.

We took our kids at 2,5,6 & 8 and only the 8 year old was tall enough for the actual waterslides (the 6 yr old slipped by on one, but not the others). We still had a blast in the splash zone and checking out the aquarium & stuff. No one complained until it was time to go back to the ship. The 2 year old CRIED that she didn't want to leave.

Please be aware that Atlantis is very very strict on the height requirements for the slides. I forget what it is (48 inches?), but they will measure your child, and also their measurement chart is a bit off. My daughter was right at 48" according to the dr.'s office, but she was short on the Atlantis chart. And of course extremely disappointed that she couldn't go down the big slides, and we wasted about 30 minutes standing in a very hot (august) line.

Just know that going in......:thumbsup2

Sorry I don't have any pictures, but our 18 mo GD went on even smaller slides. We had a real fun day.

For the future the height bars AT the rides are high for the stated height requirements BUT you can ask for a lifegaurd manager to measure them in the office and they can get a special braclet that will let them on. Obviously this only works if they are actual the height that is required. But just know that if they are "close" the height measurements at the rides are too high...:confused3
