Got a question about AP resort discounts and how many rooms I can reserve...

I was hoping I could reserve 2 rooms and still get the discount. Here is the reason. I will be going to WDW with my wife and my family, my wife and I are AP holders but no one else in my family is. Is it possible for me to book 2 rooms using my AP then book a separate reservation on my wifes AP and get 4 rooms in total??? I know this seems wierd but I am just trying to make everyone in my family happy and we keep running into barriers with somone paying more then others so I am trying to find a way to help us all save money. Any advise would be great!!!

My understanding is that you may book up to 3 rooms per AP/PAP. The room(s) should be reserved in the same name as is on the AP, but the rooms do not necessarily all have to be paid for by that person. (In other words, each family could pay for their own room and offer their own credit card at check in to pay for charging back to the rooms).

Assuming that there are enough AP discounted rooms available (the number of discounted rooms is limited), you and your wife should each be able to reserve 2 rooms using the AP discount.

Great three per pass is excellent...

Let me add one more question to the post. What about the cruise, do these answers apply in anyway to the ship???

Honestly I dont know about DCL (Disney Cruise Line).

I would say no because AP are usually only good at the issuing park and therefore rooms aboard cruise boats would not apply.

However if you are referring to a Land/Sea package WDW/DCL then I cant see any reason why you couldnt book up to three rooms on your AP at WDW.
