This was certainly a great ending to a great day!! Glad your bag was "found" and that the afternoon went well at the pool and dinner! Love those lemonage slushies, too!!! We had our fair share in the heat!!!! Your little girls are soooooooooo cute :)

Then it was parade time!

What an awesome parade. I am so thrilled we made it.

I really wanted to see this parade, and it did not let me down at all! We were ready to go... I would love to have stayed and explored some more, but I knew that everyone was tired. So while we did not get to do the Trails we did accomplish two biggies... Nemo and the Parade!

I'm so glad you liked the parade! I think it's an awesome one - great music, fun characters, and those amazing, gigantic 'puppets'!

Look at Miss Hannah with her posing. Too cute!

Glad you found the missing bag. I hate to lose things!

Hurray for DH taking Luke back, and hurray for Emily doing her first big ride and loving it!

We really liked the parade at AK also -- so colorful and fun!

I am so glad that you found the bag! What a relief!

Hannah and her bathing beauty pose cracked me up!

We really enjoyed the food at Pepper Market as well -- I still crave their nachos. :lmao:

What a great day! That sounds like a good plan for at least one day - stay through the parade somewhere, then head back to the room for pool time and dinner at the resort. I think I could do that...

I love how Hannah poses for some of the pictures. Reminds me of my DD - there's always a pose involved with her. ;) Thanksfor another update - keep them coming!

Em's sunglasses are so stinkin' cute!!!!! Where did you find those? Do you recall if they sold them in 'boy colors'?

You are really rockin' AK - so many rides and shows so quickly! I hope we can make it to FOTLK this time around, I hear its an awesome show. Henry did NOT like Nemo, but we were in the front row, so I think it was all just too much for him. We'll try again, especially now since he knows who Nemo is! :goodvibes Sorry you had to deal with the rude Mom's and kids. I agree---bad parenting!

Glad to read EE was a hit! :thumbsup2

The glasses are way old... probably from Hannah's first trip, so I am not sure if they still have them.

FOTLK is awesome. I am not sure which one I like best. I loved Nemo because it was new to us, but I always am thrilled to see Lion King, I am not sure I could pass it by.

I am so impressed with all the scrapping you got accomplished! I need to pull out our Disney album from last August and get that done before the baby arrives. I know I'll never get caught up if I don't!

Luke is almost to Disney... the girls are still in Dec. I hope to knock them out the next week or so, doing the Disney pages will be my reward!

You are rockin' on your scrapbooking! I cannot get motivated. I have pictures printed out but no desire to go upstairs to get it done.

I had a huge stack of pictures printed in May... they sat here for almost two months. Now that the mess is out, Luke is sleeping all night, it is time to get cracking for me.

You are inspiring me -- I will get some scrapbooking done today if nothing else gets done! :goodvibes

Did you get some done?

Love your AK update!! You had some great character meets and you are right Flik does have the best backdrop of any character!! It really does seem like you guys were having a great day!! Can't wait to hear more on what you guys decide to do!!

I haven't seen FOTLK but I'm in love with Nemo it was a fantastic show!!!!

Wow there are people who are caught up with their scrapbooking or close to it....I need to be inspired by this people LOL I'm so far behind its not even funny LOL

Last summer I was way behind... I swore never again. I find that summer is my time to get pages done. No great TV, no schoolwork!

I love your latest update. You guys really made the most of your AK morning. Wow - good fast pass attack and way to go - seeing both shows before noon.

If you decide to go to Vero beach, I think you will really like it. I stayed there for three nights last summer. If you want to see pics click on my June 2008 TR. I posted tons of pics. We stayed in a 1BR which had a fabulous view of the ocean. We were so lucky to get that room. My understanding is that the OVIR (ocean view inn rooms) are the nicest. They have the same amenities as a studio, but a different configuration. The best part is - the ocean view! Let me tell you - the ocean view is really something you want here. It is fabulous in the morning and fabulous at night! Not all of the studios have ocean views.

Your kids will love Vero because there is a ton for the kids to do here. It's really a lovely place and I look forward to going back!

Thank you so much for the advice on room type. I need to write that down. I for sure want an ocean view!

love the update! and the family picture of you all is great!!!

We were awfully hot and stinky but the picture is pretty good.

great day so far at AK--loved the Pocahontas' area--I haven't been there:thumbsup2

I had not seen any pics of that area or heard what they were doing there since the show was cut.... I was glad to share!

This was a better day than I expected. In terms of the heat, it was probably the coolest day weather wise that we had, which was fantastic for being at AK- the hot park. Our meals were good, our snacks refreshing, and the kids were good.

Great day, Laura! A complete turnaround! That pool looks amazing!!

How sweet of you to spread the magic by giving the FPs to those newlyweds... I'm sure they appreciated them tremendously!

Relieved you found the ziplock bag.... what a sweetie hubby was to take Luke back for his nap! :lovestruc

My parents LOVE the Pepper Market. The best thing is on the dinning plan it counted as a Counter Service. But the food seems more like a Table Service! :thumbsup2

I really wanna try out that pool! How cool are those stairs!

-nat

My only complaint about Pepper Market is it take a while... to get your food and the whole process takes longer. The food was good, and the service I thought was great in there though. Lots of yummy choices... I was sure glad we were on the dining plan though... it was super expensive.

My DH and mom got the steaks that were super expensive, so they used the dining plan to their advantage that night.

The pool is great, fun slide. There were always chairs available too!

What a wonderful ending to your AK day. DH gets the prize for taking Luke back to the room. Yay!

I love Hannah's pose at the pool, super cute, she looks like a little Diva.

The set up of Pepper Market seems really weird. :confused3

They explain it to you, and it is a bit overwhelming. However the food was good, there were lots of choices and it is a great deal on the dining plan.

DH was great to take Luke... but he wanted a nap too!

[QUOTE=IluvXU;32693477]

I just love Hannah's pose in this one!

So glad the ziplock turned up, even though it wasn't important, it surely was a relief to have found it.

Sounds like you had a great day! Can't wait to read all about MK!

It was nice to have the second formula dispenser.... that way were were prepared for Luke and the fan too! Although he enjoyed pulling the fan off and playing with it a bit too much.

WOW!! I'm all caught up! We were gone for a long weekend in Dallas and I've missed so much! I loved your Epcot and AK pics!! You lucked up in the UK getting Mary Poppins, Alice, AND Pooh and friends. When we were there it was only Pooh and friends. That's awful about your wet bags!! But glad you found your lost one! AK looked like a great day! We just loved the Nemo show when we went! And where was that section where you met Pocahontas? We met her at Camp Minnie Mickey--but that was the day it rained 11 inches. We missed a lot of that park. The parade looks really cute, too! They canceled it the day we were there. Great updates! Can't wait for more!!

The parade was great, sorry you missed it. Pocahontas was back in Camp Minnie Mickey, where her old show used to be. Poor Mary and Alice were in a small space in the UK... it was quite cramped, but we were glad to catch them.

so glad you got to see the parade!!!
You mentrioned how well your kids behave at the same time I was thinking that--you have some awesome children who take great pictures:goodvibes

The kids were great that day, and really overall. Our next day though all the kids had a meltdowns though (and me too)

Great update Laura! Thos esunglasses Emily had on are SO CUTE, I love them!!!:lovestruc Geez, I can't stand it when parents don't follow through on threats, it is no wonder they didn't listen, they knew there would be no consequences!:sad2: Glad you got to see the show though! Your family picture in front of the tree is so cute!:thumbsup2

I actually feel bad for the kids... their parents are not helping them out at all!

What a great afternoon! I so want to see this parade, maybe Rob will take B. back to the hotel. A girl can dream. :)

Love Hannah's pose in the pool picture. :) Em is a champ w/the slides too. She needs to have a little talk with A. about pools and slides. :)

I'm so glad your bag was just misplaced and not lost. Like you said, not the end of the world, but still nice to have all of those things.

Yeah for MK!!

A would love the parade... maybe B will be asleep in the stroller and you will have to stay!

This was certainly a great ending to a great day!! Glad your bag was "found" and that the afternoon went well at the pool and dinner! Love those lemonage slushies, too!!! We had our fair share in the heat!!!! Your little girls are soooooooooo cute :)

Those lemonades were fantastic. Although AK had paper straws that made it a bit hard to drink.

I'm so glad you liked the parade! I think it's an awesome one - great music, fun characters, and those amazing, gigantic 'puppets'!

Look at Miss Hannah with her posing. Too cute!

Glad you found the missing bag. I hate to lose things!

Your love of the parade has caught me too. So fun! I could watch that everyday!

Love the parade pictures! THe CSR pool looks awesome!

It was a fun pool area, never too crowded either... unlike the other Moderates we have stayed at during the summer months!

when i first glanced at this picture i thought emily was holding a cigarette!!! :lmao: then i realized it was the paper straw from the frozen lemonade. :rolleyes1

so glad you got to see the parade! it's such a great little show. i love the music and it's so different from the other parades at WDW.

look at hannah posing!!! :rotfl:

Dawn that cracked me up....those paper straws are nasty... but better than no straws at all! We just did not drink them fast enough!

What a great AK day! Hannah was so brave to ride EE!

I love your parade photos. We have yet to see this and I am determined to see it next year!

I hope you can fit it in.. it is worth it!

The parade was great. I hope when we stay at AKV we can catch some late afternoons at AK or nights.

We hope to pool hop at CSR again someday!

GREAT day!!!! I am so glad everything worked out...that you got to see the parade, and that you found the BAG!!!!!!!

I cannot tell you enough.. your building for us was dead on perfect. We all said that was an awesome location!!!!!

Wonderful pictures of the parade and poolside, they made me fell the magic.

The pics don't do the pool justice. It is a great pool area!

It is somewhat easier to stay and leave before night at times because of the bus time factor. I do have to say night at MK is my all time favorite... I could never give that up!

Sounds like a great day. It was nice for you to have sometime with just the girls. Glad you got Nemo and the parade in.

It was so fun riding Kali with Em. I cannot wait until she can do the big rides!

Great update! I love AK, it is themed so well. Do you have any pictures of your room? Were you in a refurbed room? Have they updated the tv's?

To be honest I have no room pics... we were stuffed with tons of junk in our rooms. Our room was refurbed and nice... flat screen tv and all!

Yes, props for DH for taking Luke back to the hotel. Cold frosty drinks look like they go well with the parade! And yet another extra cool pool. Love those Mayan ruins!:thumbsup2

I wish I had grabbed a popcorn for a snack... it was just hot though so drinks were all we really wanted.

Great finish to your day at AK. Glad you got to stick around and see the parade. I love the AK parade. It's one of my favs. You really got to see and do a lot!

I wanted to try the Pepper Market while I was at CSR, but I was finished with the meal plan and had used up all my CS. The price just seemed a little high to pay OOP.

Did you start getting adjusted to your new room and move? I really had a hard time going from AKV to CSR. My organization was gone!

Our room at CSR was always trashed. (part of today's update) My mom brought a lot of snacks, which with the heat and dining plan we did not eat. Plus strollers, etc.... we were stuffed!

Saturday, June 20th

Magic Kingdom Day! This is always my favorite day, and this trip I was super excited. We had three MK mornings planned, and two nights, so we had lots of MK time. Plus dinner tonight was at Chef Mickey's does it get any better than that?

We were up and ready to go by 7:30 ish. Infact, DH called housekeeping to see if they could clean our room before we returned in the afternoon, we knew Luke would need a nap, and thought maybe it could happen. The CM assured him no problem, thanks for calling it would be done by 9! Great... and they would do my parents room too!

So we headed to the bus stop and had just a minute or two wait and we were off.

We arrived super early again, but we wanted to catch Dumbo and be in front of the rope drop crowd. I had tried to have our paper tickets put on our Keys to the World the day before at CSR... it did not work. Who knows why, but I was glad I kept the paper ones in my wallet... that would have been a mess!

We actually saw an old co-worker of DH's as we waited to get in...so we caught up with her and her husband.

We snapped a few pictures..

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0362.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0364.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0372.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0376.jpg

I have a picture of the girls sitting there from last year I tried to recreate... no go. they would not cooperate....

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0380.jpg

We did not watch the show to open the park, but boy we sang along since we listen to it on our CD a ton. We promised we would watch it another day... we wanted to not give up our prize spot...

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0381.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0382.jpg

Pretty empty... and we made it on the second ride of Dumbo for the day. We did witness a pusher upper who had not stayed with her group.... I cannot get why people think lines are not meant for them to wait in

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0383.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0384.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0390.jpg

As we were waiting for Dumbo we saw that Ariel was open, and the girls wanted to see her. I was not wanting to do this (they had their Tink dresses on, not the Ariel ones) but we went in... and once again the same lady pushed in front of us there... I need to get with my group. Luckily we did not see her again!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0392.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0393.jpg

Then we rode Snow White and I headed over to wait for Tinkerbell. I was very specific... ride Winnie the Pooh and get the girls to me ASAP! The rest went on Winnie the Pooh, and I got over to Toontown. There were maybe five groups there, some with strollers which I knew they would have to park....I wanted the girls on foot so we would bypass that.

After waiting a few minutes I heard the CM say they would open at 9:45. I was getting a bit nervous that they would not be there... and people kept coming over. I see DH and the girls exit Winnie the Pooh...but they are not coming my way. At this point it is like 9:43 and my spot is a waste if I don't have the girls and I was just getting steaming mad. It was hot, and I had told him time and time again we needed to get this done today and first thing..... I gave up and went to find them, because the rope was dropping and I had no girls, who were in their beautiful dresses to see Tink. This was not my finest moment, and to be honest it is something I won't live down. It is referred to as the Tinkerbell Massacre!

I walked very briskly up to the Pooh Playful spot where they were all standing and lost it... I was so stinking mad that DH was just standing there with the girls. So after I screamed (yes I yelled) at him, I took the girls with me and off we went. We were now in the back of the pack that were entering Toontown, instead of the front. Looking back it probably only lost about twenty minutes.... but I was ticked I was standing in the heat and he did not listen. We did make up ground because we did not have the stroller...and I was not sure where the rest of them would be. I had my camera, no video camera though.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0394.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0398.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0400-1.jpg

It was cool in there, and the line did move. I would suspect we waited less than twenty five minutes, but oh well. I did regain a bit of composure, but to be honest I did not enjoy this much because I was mad at DH, and mostly myself.... and I needed out of my funk!

Fawn greeted us... she was great!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0401.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0402.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0403.jpg

Then Tink... she was sassy! Funny though!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0406.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0408.jpg

Then Rosetta,

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0409.jpg

(I have tons of Photopass pics I will post tomorrow from AK, EPCOT and the Fairies... to get caught up)

The girls loved it, they looked so cute in their dresses, and my number one thing to do was done, but my unmagical moment was just not something I could shake!

Luckily they were all in the hallway waiting for us. I felt somewhat bad DH missed it, but I was still mad that he did not listen. I also think once they saw the line was over an hour that quick they realized I was right (no one ever admitted that though).

Up next... would I get over my funk....all three children melt down, and a bus moment I will never forget!

Way to go Doug taking Luke back like that. Looks like the girls had an awesome time at the parade. I know much you wanted to get there and I am glad you did! The pool looks so fun, and I think Pepper Market would be the #1 reason I'd want to stay at CSR.

I was thrilled to see the parade with my girls. I hope as they get bigger when can split more often apart and do what they want. Pepper Market was yummy!

Finally all caught up! Such a great report. Hope I can remember all I want to comment on!
We have some of the same princess shirts! Congrat on the upgrade! All your pool pics were so cute. Yay for Emily going all the way down the slide, Cayley stopped half way and I had to crawl down and get her at CBR-fun times LOL
CONGRATS on DVC. We are also buying and AKV is our front runner as of now. Though we are planning to go back in May and would like to try BLT for the monorail! Love the report so far!!

BLT and the monorail will be nice. I hope we do a short trip someday and just hit MK and EPCOT and stay there.

Ahhhh, loving all your CSR pictures! :goodvibes

Sounds like a great day at AK-your girls braving the 'big rides' and DH taking Luke! Plus accomplishing Nemo and the parade! I really enjoyed the parade there too-so unique and colorful and fun.

I'm glad to read you found the bag!!! :woohoo:

Hannah's pose at the pool is priceless. She's adorable! :cutie:

AK might have been our best day. I felt like we left there and had done a lot.

Yes, everyone has their moments at WDW! I hope you were able to have fun the rest of the day!! I can totally relate to what you were saying about not wanting to get the girls pics taken w/Ariel b/c they were wearing their Tink dresses!! I was the same way! I made the girls wait to visit Ariel's Grotto until the day they wore thier Ariel dresses!! ;) The girls look so happy with the faires!! We saw Tink and Fawn, too!! But we saw Silvermist instead of Rosetta.

Magic Kingdom Day!

Then we rode Snow White and I headed over to wait for Tinkerbell. I was very specific... ride Winnie the Pooh and get the girls to me ASAP!

I see DH and the girls exit Winnie the Pooh...but they are not coming my way. At this point it is like 9:43 and my spot is a waste if I don't have the girls and I was just getting steaming mad. the rope was dropping and I had no girls, who were in their beautiful dresses to see Tink. This was not my finest moment, and to be honest it is something I won't live down. It is referred to as the Tinkerbell Massacre!

:rotfl2:Tinkerbell Massacre :rotfl2:

I feel so bad that all your planning started unravel before your eyes. DH's just don't get it! :sad2: I'm sure your pictures are really lovely. I can not see them here at work! I'm glad you did get in to see the fairies, but sorry it was a less than magical experience.

Yay! for seeing the fairies in the end though. I showed my dd the photos and she was so jealous. Fawn is her favorite but we didn't go this day and when we went we saw Iridessa, Tink, and Silvermist.

don't feel bad about getting mad. you're only human - i would've done the same thing but probably worse. you take the time to research these things and plan them and it stinks when someone doesn't appreciate the effort you've made in planning things and just ignores it. i'm not saying your DH didn't appreciate your effort, but you know what i mean - that was a very important thing for you and he either forgot or didn't listen. and it's not like you freak out when *anything* goes wrong. but this was something that you had stressed was important. you had a right to lose your cool a little bit.

i'm really glad the girls got to meet the fairies though! really getting there first thing in the morning is the way to do it, especially during the busy times. i wanted to meet fawn....so cool that you guys got to meet her! she's my favorite.....behind tink, of course. ;)

Hannah's is short lived and funny tears, Emily is well ugly and long lasting (some due to inconsiderate people and well 1 inch) and Luke just had a quick fit.

It was by far my maddest moment ever at WDW. Luckily that was it, and I think I learned a lot about how we can do WDW from it.

...the rope was dropping and I had no girls, who were in their beautiful dresses to see Tink. This was not my finest moment, and to be honest it is something I won't live down. It is referred to as the Tinkerbell Massacre!

The girls loved it, they looked so cute in their dresses, and my number one thing to do was done, but my unmagical moment was just not something I could shake!

Aww, Laura, we mommies can have our meltdowns, too!

I was just going to say, though, that the girls really seemed so happy to meet the fairies and they did look so precious!

How did Luke like riding in the Hunnypot with Winnie the Pooh?? pooh:

After the Tinkerbell Massacre we looked around the store a minute or two before heading across the way to Goofy's Barnstormer. I finally got to ride it, twice. I am pretty sure Grandma and DH took turns with Luke.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0416.jpg

I think I rode once with both girls... and then we headed back through Fantasyland , catching Mickey's Philharmagic on the way (this was a weird one, my girls loved it previous trips, Hannah thought it was really loud and Em was not in love either)... then off towards The Haunted Mansion. At this moment Emily balked, so DH took her to Its a Small World, and Hannah and my parents rode HM. Luke and I went to get FPs for BTMR and Splash Mountain and then met back up at Columbia Harbor House for Lunch. Just as we ordered DH and Em came in, so we all had a seat and ate our lunches, refreshed and cooled down now we headed towards Adventureland. ...
and saw

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0420.jpg

No Emily in this picture... she was freaking out...keep this in mind for another day.

We rode Pirates, which Luke loved... he sat up watching everything. Finally the girls were okay with this ride too, I think they saw how much Luke loved it. He clapped along, so sweet!

We then took a ride on Splash, Hannah, my dad and I while DH took Em on The Magic Carpets. Then we grabbed more Splash and BTMR FPs and headed for the bus. Splash Mountain did pick my mood up quite a bit, I sure love that ride and missed riding it last year. It was weird though, we never got that wet any time we rode it this trip, and it would have felt great! Hannah and I sat in the very front row... which was super fun too.

We once again had an empty bus with no wait back to CSR. We got off our stop and were getting ready to take the girls to the pool so Luke could sleep in peace, and we opened our door to unclean rooms- boo! DH stayed first with Luke, with the plan I would come back and switch with him in a bit.

As we left the room the housekeeping lady was just ready to come to our room. I explained that we had a baby who was going to nap, and asked if she could come back later-- we would be leaving at 4:30 for the night. She said 5:30, I said fine and signed a paper (not sure what this is about.... but it come back later)

So we headed to the pool, again not crowded, again not refreshing because it was so hot! The girls did the slide a ton, and one time Emily sat it out with me in the pool. Hannah came back down the stairs in tears....hysterical. I figured hot pavement, cruel kids, cutters (who knows) but no.... she was crying because she lost a tooth. (This kid has no idea about loose teeth... today one is hanging barely and she refuses to pull it). So I calmed her down, took the tooth and got her a drink of sprite to wash away the blood. Just as she was calming down DH came to the pool, Luke in hand wondering where I was....Grumpy! I explained the tooth hysteria and that I was coming back...he said Luke just would not nap. So I got out went back to the room and got Luke in a suit too. (why didn't he do this I wondered). Luke took a quick dip before he went back and got a nap while I got ready... we had a big night ahead!

So one child has had a break down... two to go before the night is over... and bus ride from hell too!

(As a side note... not many pics, probably because I was in a bit of a funk still over the Tink Mess)

Since we were headed to Chef Mickey's we decided to take a MK bus, the monorail. After about twenty minutes we decided whatever we saw: EPCOT or MK would do. So at 5 we finally saw an EPCOT bus (we still had not seen MK). Once we got on the bus that was pretty full, we headed to Blizzard Beach---- you have got to be kidding me. Yesterday the AK buses stopped at Blizzard Beach, and today EPCOT???

But as we pulled in I said to DH, should we get off and grab a bus to the Contemporary--- he was for it once we saw a Contemporary bus right behind us.... we booked it to the bus stop, which was right in front of CSR.

This bus was packed. Not sure where it was coming from, but it was jammed full. My mom had Emily who was falling asleep with her, DH had the stroller, my dad had Luke, and I had two backpacks and helped Hannah keep her balance.

Yes you read right, my five year old was standing, as well as my 60 year old dad with a 10 month old--that is just crazy to me. But it gets better.... we were going along, not far at this point when the woman to my left pokes me and says excuse me. I said yes, and then got this back- can you please watch your bags you might wake the baby! Let me create this visual for you all. This grandma had her granddaughter's entire head in the aisle. The mother was beside her, and all it would have taken was for the mom to hold the sleeping baby if she was that worried. (it was a two year old probably) She did not say I had, but wanted me to be careful. I was totally shocked at her nerve. I had two bags, trying to keep my five year old safe and she was worried about me disturbing her, who was in the aisle. I could not believe it. Then it continued to crack me up as I listened to their conversation... we were passing the monorail track --- that is where they used to ride that monorail, it is not used anymore, just buses now (needless to say they were novices, I hope this was their first bus ride and that they would get a clue about crowded buses)

I also had a great conversation with a family headed to the Poly... they were headed to the luau and were already a half an hour late (there must have been some crazy bus problems that afternoon).

Our ride ended at the Contemporary... Em was asleep, so she got in the stroller. We checked in, there was no line, but we did not take our picture since Em was asleep. They even sat us in a spot where we could pull the stroller up to the table, but she sat up once we got to our table.

The characters were super fun as usual, I thought less rushed than usual too. Emily somewhere that night got brave too!

Luke loved the party time... he clapped away and smiled so cute! This meal was a hit, everyone left full and happy. My parents enjoyed their first trip to Chef Mickey's!

We then boarded the monorail for a night at MK... my favorite nighttime park by far. We made the loop and entered MK. I wanted to get some pictures of the kids on the bench.... Hannah went with my mom to the bathroom, so I got this picture first.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0461.jpg

Luke was having none of it... he wanted a bottle, he was having a melt down. When Luke wants a bottle it is bad, even worse when he sees it or the formula dispenser. Well he saw the water bottle, the formula, and wanted his bottle NOW! He had ate a ton, but not had anything to drink, so I started to dig.... and dig... and dig (remember two backpacks) and then I had the sinking feeling... did I forget the bottle. I for the life of me could not find it, so when Hannah and my mom met up with us, I sent them off to Buzz while I was headed to Baby care to buy a bottle --- and got the didn't you check before you left look from mom!

So I unloaded Luke at the Baby Care... and was a sweaty mess after the fast and furious search for the bottle. We went in to buy the bottle, and I got one there, a different kind but I figured he would be fine. Then I went to make the bottle... and yes, you know what I found the the backpack- the darn bottle. That gives you a clue to how much stuff I had with me....

So I asked the CM if I could return the bottle, she said I could at any store, so off we went, but as we reloaded in the stroller a grandma saw me with the bottle and said she was headed in to buy one... they had forgotten theirs... and so there I got rid of my bottle, I actually made money from it ( I said she could have it, but she paid me anyway)

Crisis ended, Luke with his bottle in hand and I headed to Tomorrowland.....

(remember we are still waiting for tears from Em and the bus ride is worse home!)

Okay, so I am sure you realize that we are all laughing WITH you WITH you, not at you... but this has certainly been a story to tell!!!! GOODness!!! That said:

1. The people on the bus -- GET real.
2. The busses in general, sometimes I think Disney must change the busses around just to keep people guessing! UGH.

AND finally

3. That photo of you and your family with DONALD, is hands down the best photo of all of you and so adorable and full of energy that it belongs on Disney literature!!! I expect to see it on a brochure in the near future!!! Your matching shirts, your amazing smiles, Truly. The best. :)

The ordeal on the bus just irked me! I would have been thinking "Lady, since I don't have a seat, the aisle is my seat - so technically your child's head is in my seat!"

I chuckled when she thought the monorail doesn't run anymore. HA! RIDE THE CROWDED BUSES LADY!! No monorail for you!!

Okay, I'm mean.

;)

I'll be nice - I do hope it was her first bus ride and she learned the ropes, and that the monorail still runs, and some manners!

You guys look SO CUTE in your matching shirts at CM! Excellent pictures!!!

And the Luke meltdown...oh...its awful with the crying baby - ugh. I've so been there with the overloaded Mommy bag. :headache:

What a day!! Waiting for a bus can be really bad if you want to be somewhere at a specific time! We once waited 45 min for the bus to take us to DHS for RD. Of course by the time we got there, the wait for TSM was already 40 min.

Love your matching t-shirts!! :goodvibes

(it was a two year old probably)

I had two bags, trying to keep my five year old safe and she was worried about me disturbing her, who was in the aisle. I could not believe it. Then it continued to crack me up as I listened to their conversation... we were passing the monorail track --- that is where they used to ride that monorail, it is not used anymore, just buses now (needless to say they were novices, I hope this was their first bus ride and that they would get a clue about crowded buses)

then I had the sinking feeling... did I forget the bottle.

Oh good Lord! What a visual I am getting from this. I think I would have wacked that woman with one of my bags. Wake the baby??????? "Yeah - I'll really wake the baby when I slip and fall on them while adjusting my 2 ton back pack while I'm holding onto my 5 year". Uggghhhh!

And then misplacing the bottle. I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Kuddos to you for juggling all that!

Great updates Laura ... the photopass pics are very good. Don't feel bad about the vacation blow ups and meltdowns. It happens to every family. You are trying so hard to make great family memories but have to tolerate the heat and stay a step ahead of the crowds.

Some people have quite the nerve! I think you handled the bus situation well. :thumbsup2

I love that first group picture with Donald. It is like Em is looking over at Luke to make sure he is having a good time. :thumbsup2

I think that what really made me crazy was that I had done nothing wrong. Disney fills buses, therefore people stand.

That Donald pic is one of my favorites too.

The best. :)

And then, I read that the saga isn't over and there is more??? Oh I have to keep my hat on for this one!!!

I am glad you all could laugh. I was speechless, then mad. They were at Chef Mickey's too- I hope the characters skipped them.

Our evening ends -- thankfully!

The bus lady was UNREAL-are you kidding me??? Those CM pics were very cute! Glad Luke got his bottle and you made some $$ Hurray for the tooth fairy!

I would love to have heard that lady touring the parks--- she was an idiot!

Great group pictures, and I love the Donald and Daisy shirts.

I love those shirts. I hope we can fit in them next summer... the only worry is Luke, the girls should be fine.

Oh. My. Gosh. Was the woman on the bus for real? What an idiot!

Looks like you had a great time at Chef Mickey's -- everyone is just beaming and I love that Em got over her fear of the characters! :thumbsup2

Oh, those Mommy bags -- what a trial they are to us! Glad you found the bottle eventually though.

I keep thinking next time I got to WDW for a park trip I will not have two bags (no matter what!)

GREAT update, Laura!! WOW--the nerve of that lady! Some people think it's all about them, don't they?! I can't believe there weren't any men that got up to let you, your kiddos, and your dad sit down! That's ridiculous! We only experienced something like this once on our trip. It made me thankful we were staying at the Poly and had other modes of transportation! CRAZY!! I LOVE all of the family pics of ya'll at CM! So glad to hear the characters weren't rushing--I sure felt rushed at our breakfast there! And I really like your matching Daisy shirts! I've not been able to find shirts for me, Ally, & Claire that match---soooo cute!! Glad you found your bottle! Can't wait to read more!

Oh... the men got what they deserve on the way home that night. I am sure that my mom and I both saw a sign on the buses saying priority seats for elderly, handicap and young children--- I am in awe that people don't do this.

The ordeal on the bus just irked me! I would have been thinking "Lady, since I don't have a seat, the aisle is my seat - so technically your child's head is in my seat!"

I am interested in trying Chef Mickey's for breakfast... it would be a fun way to start a day.

We did Chef Mickey's for breakfast in Sept. last year (yes, he got me to go twice in one trip). I didn't like it as much as dinner - I'd have preferred to go to Crystal Palace. But that could be because the only ADR I could get was at 9:00, which meant the rest of the morning was SHOT (plus it was our last day in the parks). Not the best planning in the world on my part. :headache: But we did see Minnie deliver a birthday cake to the girl sitting next to us (yes, at 9:30 a.m.), and Minnie really played it up. I think the girl was turning 12, and she loved it. That was really neat - I'd never gotten a chance seen them do that at dinner.

I met back up with my family after our Buzz ride and we were off to Fantasyland. We had Peter Pan FPs that were burning a hole in my pocket!

My girls wanted to attempt to pull the sword out...
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0463.jpg

and of course Em thought she could...

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0466.jpg

We enjoyed a ride on Peter Pan and then hit It's a Small World. I must say I was sad that the front was be rehabbed, it certainly was not pretty to look at, and it was hard to see the line. I also think some people passed it by, thinking it was closed or missing it completely.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0468.jpg

Emily adores it, it was her second ride. It was Luke's first time though....

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0477.jpg

My mom kept the little ones... and we were off to the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness... again I was thrilled to be back on this ride after last trip sitting it out! We found a spot in Frontierland, and promised treats to Em if she cooperated for Grandma!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0479.jpg

After the wild ride we got ready for the parade! Spectromagic is my favorite nighttime entertainment... I think we could watch it every night!

We got some Lemonade Slushies again....

and Luke loved the glow in the dark necklaces...

The rings Anita were a huge hit--- thanks again!

The parade was of course enjoyed by all. Then we decided to use our last FPs for Splash Mountain before heading out. This is where I got my stupid mom moment... I knew Em was close to 40 inches, so we tried it.... and she made it all the way to loading, when the guy stopped us from her sitting down and measured... too short. So she cried, I walked the exit of shame steps (the bridge over the boats) and she was beside herself. I felt bad, but I knew she was close and would love it. Em really never recovered, so as Wishes started and dh, Hannah and my dad were riding we promised Em a treat for her tears to stop. She had seen a Peter Pan Playset over at the Pirates exit, so on our way out we bought it for her. I got to see parts of Wishes, from a poor Splash Mountain location... no Tink for me! I still need to see it... maybe next year!

We made our way out..

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0496.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0497.jpg

and to the buses. There was a bit of a line for CSR, but not too bad considering Wishes had recently ended. This is where I made the second stupid mom moment. The bus was "full" when I got up front, and the bus driver said there was room. We should have waited, but stupidly I got on, with three tired kids, a stroller and two backpacks. Unfortunately... there were no seats, and again we had issues. Someone got up so my mom sat down, with Luke and Hannah squeezed in. Em was by me, standing, she did not want to be held, and of course again... no one got up to let her sit or squeeze in. The lady next to my mom was shocked, she had a kid on her lap or probably would have taken Em. So this did Emily in... she was still made about Splash and she was forces to stand. She cried, wailing the entire way back. I could do nothing to appease her, and to be honest I thought let them all hear it, all she wanted to do was sit! I could not get Hannah to get up, she was beat too.... so it was a miserable ride back to CSR. There were at least five teenage/ young adult men that could have spared everyone by getting up and giving Em a seat... instead she cried. I felt horrible for her, but once again was amazed at how inconsiderate people are. I would never make a little kid cry or stand ever on a bus!

Finally... it seemed like years later we got off and went to our rooms- which were not clean-:scared1: you have got to be kidding me! We called Housekeeping, the head CM spoke to us, said she found the note we signed and apologized for their oversite, she said the housekeeper did not tell her that it still needed to be cleaned at the end of her shift. Oh well, they brought some towels, and we survived, but our impressions of CSR kept going down.... we have never had issues like this before at any Disney resort.

Up next --- Hollywood Studios here we come!

I am stunned everytime I read about people on the buses...did they forget their manners at home:confused3 Last year my DD who was 15 at the time never sat on the bus unless there was no one standing, she always gave up her seat...what is wrong with people? We were on our way to a park one morning with my sis and her family...the youngest being 3...she wanted to be with her auntie so I was trying to hold her and hold the overhead bar along with a bottle of water. This woman sitting in the seat in front of me looked up at me and said....Do you mind...your water is dripping on me....I lost it. I looked down at her and said well unless your the wicked witch of the west I'm quite certain you won't melt. Man... I can't believe the audacity of your fellow bus riders that day - really puts a sour note on the trip and then to come home and find the room not clean... TOTAL bummer!

LOVE the photo of Em with the sword! I laughed out loud and then showed Ryan your adorable little girl. Don't worry about Luke outgrowing Small World too fast. Both Doug and Liam still tell me it's their favorite ride!

You had asked about the :princess: and me. She is doing PERFECTLY! I had an ultrasound on Monday and it showed that she is doing exactly what she should be and all is well. With me, things are slightly more precarious. My blood pressure is up more and they have me medication in hopes of keeping it under control. I developed pre-eclampsia with both boys near this time frame so every day is now an important step and a blessing. Right now, my goal is to make it to August 1st. We shall see!

I'm glad Luke enjoyed Small World! He is just so cute.

Rude people on the bus amaze me. They are part of the reason why we are renting a car this trip. Between our monster stroller and rude bus riders my DH had enough last trip. I would have done the same, tried to console her but sometimes nothing can be done because they know what they want and will cry until they get it. Poor Em, she just wanted to rest.

And your room still not clean. Ugh. After that bus ride and coming home to that, I would have felt so defeated and frustrated. I hope this is not the norm for CSR! :scared:

Oh my. Poor Em! And I can't believe with her crying that NO ONE got up. My goodness! People. Pffft. So inconsiderate.

My mom agreed with me, but my dad said that probably the people thought she should have been in bed and I was a bad parent-- too bad she stays up late when she grabs a nap. Even if we are at home my kids stay up late a lot. It was a rough night for sweet Em!

awww poor Emily--first no ride and then to have to stand--how rude!!!:confused3
However, two favorite photos of mine were of her trying to pull out the sword and the one of the family prior to the parade:banana:

We were ready with our drinks... we had a ton that week. I especially loved the pink raspberry lemonade one.

AWWWW ~ Poor Em!!! No Splash! Then rude people who wouldn't let her sit!!!:confused::confused: I just don't get it! And to top it all off coming back to rooms that weren't clean!! :sad2::sad2::sad2: I hope that her day was better at the Studios!!

I had a hard time sleeping that night... a lot of bad moments to rehash!

This picture is just too cute! She looks like she is trying so hard!

Poor Em was having a rough night. :guilty:

My aunt commented she hoped she did not get a hernia from that!

Aw, poor Emily. She'll definitely be tall enough next year, but a year is a long time for a little one.

The lemonade slushies look super yummy again. Is Hannah's pink lemonade?

ARG to the bus meanies. I guess on some Disney buses, chivalry IS dead.:sad2: It's too bad Emily or her mom wasn't holding a drink that they could have accidentally spilled on some of the inconsiderates when she was jostled because she didn't have a seat. OOPS!

It was a raspberry one.. we got them from the stand behind The Magic Carpets, next to the Tiki Birds. We got treats there before, short lines normally!
The real kicker is we had great bus rides the rest of the time. We found that the buses at CSR were the least crowded we had ever been on.... and overall we said it was a strength of that resort.

The first bus problem was not a CSR bus --- and I just should have thought before getting on the one that night, I am sure another one would have been there quick.

I was tuned into your trip report by my Dd who is 16....she thinks you have the cutest children on earth....Em reminds her of her youngest cousin who she is very close to.

I thought my DD was going to die of embarrassment, I don't know what happened, but I was sick and tired of rude people. Ok, vent over.

Can't wait to read morepopcorn::

That line is fantastic. Some people are just plain idiots! Thanks for the compliments on the kids too!

That is the most awesome come back I've ever "heard"!!! Bravo!!!

I'm sorry Em was having such a rough night. And then to top it off you come back to a dirty room. Ugh. I've noticed that it's the rare individual who has been taught that if you are able bodied you let women, children and the elderly have your seat.

I could have cared less to sit, but to make little kids stand. We made room one night for a little girl, probably our EPCOT night--- that is just what you do for kids--- remember it is a place for kids and it is summer, when kids are out of school and visit!

How cute you all looked in your matching shirts at Chef Mickey's! How rude was that lady on the bus GEEZ!:headache:

I liked those shirts a lot!

LOVE the picture of your mom sitting in the stroller! TOO FUNNY! Poor Em that poor little girl had a rough night and I would have bought her a toy too!;) We encountered a few rude young men and women on our trip too! I would have felt bad too!:thumbsup2

The funny part of the stroller sitting was that on our first day at EPCOT we saw a grandma (older looking than my mom) asleep in one--- and my dad said don't get any ideas!

I probably would've said something to those boys, if I were another passenger sitting on the bus. I think that that comes from parenting too. I think that it needs to be taught at home.
Anyway, it just sounds like things weren't going your way that day.

I was glad to have that day behind me for sure!

Love the picture with Emily's look of grim determination as she tries to get the sword out of the stone!

Hurray for Luke loving It's a Small World!

Great spot to watch Spectro from! :thumbsup2

What a shame about Splash Mountain -- I would have done the same exact thing and bought her something!

That's horrible about the bus ride home and the room! I am appalled at the troubles you have had with CSR! I hope the next day is much better!

It was thankfully... that was the worst day, the only bad day we had Park/Bus wise!

I am so sorry you had so many troubles on buses that day. I'm with you - let her cry, if no one was going to give up their seat for a little one. And then a dirty room! I hope your troubles at CSR were over at this point...

It is probably why I doubt we would stay there again. I loved the pool, the buses were overall fantastic, the food was good (expensive but good) but the luggage situation and room not getting cleaned stunk--
I have heard many times that Disney really cut back in those areas (housekeeping etc). I even found that the bathrooms in the parks were not as immaculate as in previous years...

August 1st is not too far... take care and rest!

Man! What a night! I would have done the exact same thing as you. Tried to get on the ride and then when it didn't work out, got her a treat. I know exactly the "still mad" you are talking about it as I've witnessed it myself so many times in the last few weeks.

Hoping tomorrow is a better day. :goodvibes:

One of the best things I have heard about AKL/AKV is the buses are good- and to be honest that is truly important to me. I know it will never be as hard as this trip, but I have a while until I have kids that can all stand on the bus!

WOW! I can't believe it happened TWICE on the bus! Uggh!! So sorry! And your room hadn't been cleaned?! That is unacceptable! Glad you had fun at MK, though. Claire LOVED IASW, too!! Her absolute favorite ride! We LOVED Spectro, too! Can't wait to read more!

I was so far done at the point of seeing an unclean room... I said to bring the towels to my parents room because I had kids who needed to go to bed!

That pic of Em trying to pull the sword out is just adorable! She is so determined!

My little guy still likes ITASW. I'm hoping it lasts for a while longer, until he realizes it's all dolls! It's so fun to watch their eyes light up on that ride. :cloud9:

Readers I promise no more downers, complaining or drama. As I went to bed that night I was so down in in the dumps. I wondered how I would ever get DH to go back, and if my parents would ever want to go back.... I had a hard time sleeping. But I promised myself the day would be better tomorrow, and I was going to keep myself composed no matter what! I truly believe we had been blessed with so many wonderful days at WDW over our past two trips, we were due for some not so magical moments( hopefully all were that day)... and we would get our magic back!

Sorry to hear about your bus incident. That is just awful no one would offer up Em a seat. I can remember many a times when my boys were little that other people on the bus would either get up or squish together to let the little ones sit down.

Hope the magic comes back ...

I know what you mean, Laura! Unfortunately, even at WDW everything can't be perfect all the time, so it's okay to tell us about the meltdowns and bad situations -- it makes the rest of us feel better when are own trips aren't all pixie dust and happiness. ;)

I am sorry you have unpleasant memories of your last trip. My last visit to WDW world have memories I would like to block, it was too commando, so to erase the those memories I have decided to make new memories with a slower pace trip in September. I think you need to start planning your next trip, with lessons you have learned.

Your experience on the bus have made me more aware of the people standing. My husband and I do not have children, and by the time we started going to WDW with his family the youngest was 10. My husband and I along with my nephews have always given up our seats, but reading your report, along with other reports with kids has given me a new understanding.

sorry for your not-so-magical moments that day. it happens to everyone. ray and i count the number of meltdowns we hear at WDW just because it's sort of an anamoly there. we even heard one dad say to his screaming little girl, "wow......you melted down really early today!" :rotfl2: you just have to kind of shrug your shoulders and keep going on with your day. you can't control the behavior of the idiots around you, you know? (not your kids but the adults that have an IQ of 2, i.e, the people on the bus that let emily scream and didn't give her a seat or the maid who forgot to clean your room!)

Hollywood Studios Day! Father's Day!

This park is one of my dad's favorites, and well my girls were not too excited. Neither one wanted to go there because they did not ride a thing last trip there. But I thought Toy Story Mania might change their minds.

We had no ADRs this day, and really were planning to play this park by ear. After yesterday I promised myself it would have to be a better day, and I was going to just enjoy our day and remember we were at Disney World!

We got up a tad bit later, we hoped to get there at rope drop, but knew we would not be in the front. We walked to the bus stop at 8:30 and were in the park by a quarter till, which I think is great, especially when you have a stroller to grab and bags to be checked.

DH made his way to the front on the mass of people, and to be honest we were pretty far forward too. It just was not crowded (for a summer day). I think no EMH and Fantasmic both lead this park to be less crowded.

My camera reacting to the humidity!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0500.jpg

I also noticed their opening show.... it last until 9:07- kinda weird right?

We followed the crowds towards TSM as DH went fast. The goal was to meet up after he got the FPs. We did a great job of moving...we were ahead of most of the masses, and I was thrilled to see DH getting FPs at the first machine next to the entrance.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0522.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0502.jpg

It was perfect timing... and we walked through the que! Boy it was cute, everyone says that but it was fun to see how great it looks...

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0504.jpg

What a fantastic ride! We all loved it, I can see why it is so popular! I felt like I had a bit of a handicap (I held Luke)... so I made sure next time I was not holding him!

As we exited we decided to go over and we caught the first Playhouse Disney show. Fun times, glad it was characters that my girls love! We exited that show and it was just about 10:00!

We were ready to meet someone....

We then split apart. Luke and my parents went on the Great Movie Ride, and we met some more characters.....

Luke was having none of it... he wanted a bottle, he was having a melt down. When Luke wants a bottle it is bad, even worse when he sees it or the formula dispenser. Well he saw the water bottle, the formula, and wanted his bottle NOW!

OMGoodness, I never could understand this!! You would thing that it would be the exact opposite, wouldn't you? "Oh, okay, there's the stuff... mom's getting my bottle now so I can calm down."

I'm so glad they liked the Playhouse Disney show! And I can totally sympathize with you about the "handicap" - I ended up with the baby in my lap for both rides on our trip! (Yes, DH is the video game nut, so I let him) Next time, the baby won't be a baby and can maybe sit next to me instead. Knowing him, he'll want to be firing!! :)Hopefully the girls won't be so down about DHS now. You got some great pics with the characters! sorry for your not-so-magical moments that day. it happens to everyone. ray and i count the number of meltdowns we hear at WDW just because it's sort of an anamoly there. we even heard one dad say to his screaming little girl, "wow......you melted down really early today!" :rotfl2: you just have to kind of shrug your shoulders and keep going on with your day. you can't control the behavior of the idiots around you, you know? (not your kids but the adults that have an IQ of 2, i.e, the people on the bus that let emily scream and didn't give her a seat or the maid who forgot to clean your room!)

His reaction to IASW actually gets better. I might have to figure out how to download video...

In terms of meltdowns, Hannah really did not have any, Em had more than previous trips (3 is trying at my house to say the least) and Luke only freaks when he wants a bottle.... and sees you making it!

You got some great character interactions that morning!! Em did great with the characters, I can only hope A. does the same.

She was really amazing those last four days. I wanted a redo at O'Hana's. I am hopeful she is over that fear moment. Now I just have to deal with Luke having/not having it. Hannah never really did, but she did not go to WDW at 2 or 3, she was not quite two and was almost 4, and that seemingly made the difference.

Awww, great shot! Your dad seems wonderful with the kids!

Go Luke! :thumbsup2 Lovin' that POC!! (I'm sure the girls were thinking, "Well, if the baby is smiling and clapping, it can't be all that bad!!)

I am in total agreement about the water temps at the WDW pools... too warm to be refreshing!

Kathy

My dad loves the kids to death. He spends way more patient time with them than he did us. Plus they were so good, he gets frustrated during meltdowns, and really they were meltdown free for the most part.

I really hope TSM and meeting all those characters changed your girls minds about DHS! :goodvibes

Hehehe "Up" next.

:rotfl:I could not help it! TSM for sure cracked my top ride list, perhaps is even #2!

What a fun time at Chef Mickey's!! All those pix are fabulous... so many smiles!! Glad to see Em is warming to the characters!

OMGoodness, I never could understand this!! You would thing that it would be the exact opposite, wouldn't you? "Oh, okay, there's the stuff... mom's getting my bottle now so I can calm down."

But, no! The crying always escalates... like you're going to suddenly change your mind or something! :rotfl:

Cue the ominous music...

Kathy

I worry he will never give up the bottle. The girls did at 11 months... he is no where close. He drops anything and moves quick when he sees one coming... and you cannot make them quick enough. We don't say the word or let him see it until you can give him it!

I love your pictures with Buzz and Woody. So cute! I wish we would have tracked them down. Are the girls feeling the magic yet?

I really loved the Toy Story que. There was a line, but it moved and it was in the AC. They did enjoy the day...

Looks like your girls had a great morning! I hope they changed their mind about DHS! :goodvibes

We had a fantastic day there... just wish someone would have been brave!

Disgraceful. :sad2:

And to top it off, an undone room to come "home" to... How awful.

Hope things get better soon...

Kathy

I will never forget that miserable ride. I think it will be a long time till I get on a packed bus...we really should have waited!

DH would be very jealous of the time you got to spend with Sorcerer Mickey (that's his favorite). It sounds like the day started out well, so I hope it continues!

Playhouse Disney was so fun, and so empty, the first show was a great time to go. Yes going without Luke later really helped me to focus!

Awww, even cuter than the LGMs!! :cutie: :cutie:

I'm kind of hoping you decided to see the Up characters! We loved that movie!

Kathy

I will admit I did not meet the Up Characters... but they were seen by some!

Love the family pic with Mickey! I think that HS has really stepped up the character meet and greets over the last couple of years - it does make the park more appealing for those of us with little ones!

That time with Mickey was so fantastic. We had never seen him in that gear, and since Fantasia has been a movie of late in my house it was fun!
I totally agree... there were tons of characters to meet, and we saw a lot but missed a lot too!

What a fun start to the day! Glad to hear you all enjoyed TSM and had a great meet n greet with Mickey. We found no one there hanging out with him and had a fab time as well. I am going to have to show the pics of the Toy Story area to my boys as that is THE in movie around here. In fact, Doug said to me yesterday, "Mommy, next time we go to Disney World do you think we should skip Epcot? I want to make sure we see Buzz and Woody." :lmao: Such a goofball!

Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the day!

I so want to see that movie in 3 D when it comes to the theatre again! It was way more fun to meet Buzz at HS than at MK outside in the hot sun!

Oh wow!! Ya'll got to meet a TON of characters!! LOVE the pics with Mickey especially! Great update! :goodvibes

Mickey was great... thanks TGM!

gosh, all your kids are cute, but my, is sweet Emily photogentic:love:
those pictures with her daddy are just too precious!!
so glad its been a great morning:goodvibes

Emily just lit up at WDW. She could not get enough of it all... she soaked it in, in complete awe. I think she really experienced things at 3, that she did not get before in previous trips!

The park looks practically empty in the outside pictures! I'm glad you got to see so many characters early on, we have seen Jedi Mickey at DHS, but not Sorcerer Mickey. We need to try and catch up with him next trip. So far the morning looks really good, can't wait for more...

The park was empty... there were still FPs for TSM at 3:00 that day---- which is pretty darn late if you ask me!

Great character interactions. Glad things turned around!

I was so happy that we were having fun. Plus my parents got to do a stuff they wanted and we did some more splitting up again!

Really, I do notice more than t-shirts, but I love your DH's that says "Luke, I am your father." How perfect! :rotfl:

He got that when we had Luke last fall. It was for sure his HS shirt... and a good one for Father's Day!

Trying to catch up quickly before we head out. I scrolled through pictures. Can I tell you how cute I think Hannah's little arm pose thing is? :cutie:

It is a constant... I can say that!

Go Em go! Look at her being so brave with all those characters all morning! :thumbsup2 Such great pictures!! What a morning full of great memories - a complete change from last night, thankfully!

And WAY TO GO DH for getting to the FP machine so fast! That would have made me very proud as well. :goodvibes

I was really worried. I did not want to leave him, nor did I want to stand there forever waiting for him. Luckily I did not panic and kept looking--- he moves through crowds well!

Looks like a great day so far.....you have to tell me where they are doing the Buzz and Woody Meet and Greet now....doesn't look like it is right in front of Pizza Planet anymore!!! Can't wait to see what is "UP" next!

It is right across from the TSM entry. So cute in there!

TSM is now one of our favorite rides! Last year when we got to DHS we had already decided that while we all went to ride ToT, that my BIL would take all of our tickets and go get fastpasses for TSM....worked perfectly:cool1:

The pictures with the characters are beautiful....it always gets me a little choked up....maybe cause I know we're leaving in 2 weeks and I always think..."Wow, that's gonna be us soon". I just love the feeling the few weeks before we leave.

BUMMER for Emily on Splash, that was us on Star Tours in November, and for Soarin one time.... But we did manage to get him on Splash, BTMRR, Test Track and Soarin after all... this was in Nov., when he was 40" IF you fluffed up his hair, or he wore his sneakers :rotfl: He was still 3, and hardly a "wisp" of a kid, so I knew he'd be fine... However he didn't quite know what he was missing, so if we got stopped I didn't think he'd figure it out.... We had no problem this June/July, of course, because he is now over 40", but it was a drag a few times in Nov...

SO of course she was disappointed, totally understandable! And I did the same for DS4 when he couldn't ride Mission Space with DH and DS7 - he got a little Disney Racer... So next time you all go she will be big enough and that will be exciting for her!!! She will be big enough for a LOT of great rides!!!! :)

After reading all the nuttiness, with the bottle, etc, etc, I really was laughing inside for the same reason everyone else has mentioned -- that we have ALL had those "less-than-magical" moments, but after it is easier to just laugh about it, or at least know you made the best of the situation, because indeed there are other people (blinking idiots) who can influence your trip w/o you expecting them -- the bus mishaps are the perfect example, who WOULDN'T get up to assist you in that case, goodness!!!!! I was in disbelief, especially the second time on the way home, totally crazy.

AT anyrate, the next day does seem to have started off nicely!! :goodvibes

I must say you have had total luck and awesome character photo opportunities! I am so impressed with all the characters you found!!! How special for your girls!!! I love TSM, too -- did you see the Pixar lamp??!!

That will be the ride of choice for your girls I am sure! It makes DHS worth it for us!!!

It was a pretty quick decision. We were going to stay at HS until we were done and then head back to CSR.

We headed over to Backlot Express. It did not open this day until 11:30, and we arrived about ten minutes early. We went inside, bathroomed and got a spot. Once again this place did not disappoint, it was not crowded, the food was good and it was cool. I ordered a hotdog, but ate kid nuggets (explain why the hotdog was on the kids menu???) I do remember a good berry cobbler type dessert here that I liked. We then made our plan of attack: Hannah, Emily and DH would head to The High School Musical show at noon, my mom and Luke would hang back and meet them at the end of the show and my dad and I were headed to the thrill rides: Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster. Our plan was to meet back at the Magic of Animation, the girls wanted to see the "up" gang there and they were to be out then.

Tower of Terror and Rockin' Roller Coaster never disappoint... we had a blast, picked up some FPs... still shocked at how the window was not that long from now, nor was the standby line. We actually got to go way ahead being a party of two once we were done with the preshow on ToT!

The girls visited more friends after the HS Musical show--- Hannah was so thrilled! DH said it was super hot!
They then headed to toward the Animation building.... and saw

June

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0543.jpg

We did some browsing in the store at the end, the stroller could not go back with the characters, and Luke was sleeping...my mom got the girls a Christmas Gift and then my DH and dad headed to repeat the big thrill rides while we went to see The Little Mermaid. It was a huge hit, the girls loved it, no fears at all this time. Even Luke awoke to see the show and was good.

We were winding down, but reunited for these pictures

and headed to use our FPs for Toy Story Mania. My dad did One's Man's Dream instead, and I enjoyed a Luke free spin! So fun... it was tempting to grab some FPs... they were still available, but we were ready to go. We were hot, sticky and wanted to take a swim!

We headed to the buses with shakes in hand... yummy! We waited about five minutes for a bus, had seats and took our super quick ride back on the bus. We accomplished a ton at HS and we were still headed back Tuesday afternoon for dinner at Mama Melrose and Fantasmic! We went down to the pool which was not that refreshing, but still was fun for a swim!

After a while we started to talk about that night: we had no ADRs, so really nothing to tie us down, so we decided to go to DTD for hopefully a redo of the first night when the rain ruined some plans!

do you have a video setting on your digital camera? what i do is hook my camcorder up to the TV, play it on the TV and record it with my digital camera on the video setting. then when you put it on photobucket it's already in the right format. you can convert it through a firewire but it takes forever. the quality isn't as good as it would be if it was converted, but it's SO much quicker!

I love the picture of the girls with the Up characters. Hannah looks like she's not too sure what the old man is doing with her sister.

Adorable picture of DH and Luke.:)

Splitting up is important. I think I will make sure we do it more next time my parents come with us and as the kids get bigger.

Sounds like such a fun day. Great pics!

We had a great day. It eased the terrible vibes from the day before!

I'm with everyone else gushing about the gorgeous picture of DH and Luke... I especially like that you can read his shirt, "Luke, I am your father!" It's so perfect!

The Up characters look so much like their movie counterparts... I am looking forward to seeing them myself!!

So nice to keep one evening ADR free so you can be flexible.... :thumbsup2

Kathy

I like not having an ADR everyday to be tied to.

do you have a video setting on your digital camera? what i do is hook my camcorder up to the TV, play it on the TV and record it with my digital camera on the video setting. then when you put it on photobucket it's already in the right format. you can convert it through a firewire but it takes forever. the quality isn't as good as it would be if it was converted, but it's SO much quicker!

looks like mickey's gonna get whopped in the nose! :rotfl2:

this is SO cute! she sure is getting brave! :thumbsup2

so glad you guys got to do TSM. it's so much fun for everyone! and i LOVE your DH's "luke, i am your father" shirt. that's hilarious!

I need to look at the video, the girls want to see some too, and we have not seen any yet. That makes sense Dawn... thanks!

Em did get brave.. and Luke hits everything when he is super excited.

That is such a gorgeous picture of Luke & DH. And what a great shirt!! Where'd you get it?

The UP characters are great. My kids LOVE Doug so I know that will have to be a priority!

DH got the shirt online last year, he made it through some site-- I can't remember right now.

The UP characters DH said were super fun and cute. The girls loved it, I am sad I missed it, but not said enough to miss ToT and RRC!

You got a ton done at DHS! What a great day!! Both Photopass pics are good ones, love that baby chub on Luke. :goodvibes

Believe it or not he is my skinny baby--- :rotfl:

Great photos and a fun time, who could ask for more. I hope the pixiedust continues.

We had a great three last days too...

I am still amazed at how many characters you guys manage to see in each park! So glad you got to enjoy the thrill rides with your dad! Great that you got to have a Luke free TSM ride too!! All the pictures are so adorable!!:thumbsup2

Thanks Diane. The characters kept my kids happy at HS especially so we could go do the big rides. We did not visit too many after this day.... we had seen them all!

You got some great character pictures! A. and I looked at/read your update together and she was so excited to see her "friends".

It does look hot that day, but worth it for all those smiles. Can't wait for your DTD redo!

It was so hot that day. We were so glad we were not at AK---- we would have melted. Glad A liked it... you will be there so soon!

just be sure to keep the video to 2 minutes or less. in other words, if you have something that you want to show that's 6 minutes, divide it into about 3 videos. they tend to get too big for photobucket to handle if they're over 2 minutes, at least from my camera.

I just noticed Dawn's comment above about video....I kept running into the size limit on Photobucket, so I switched to YouTube that allows you to upload a 10 minute video! :thumbsup2 of course that means ANOTHER account at ANOTHER site to store your stuff though...

Off again to DTD (fanastic bus service again). We did really great in terms of not waiting often or honestly always having seats (we only had two rides that were packed, and one was not a CSR bus and the other well...) I would actually say that bus service was one of the best things about this resort. I felt we got places really quickly and not sharing with another resort was nice, we also moved quickly through the stops at our hotel- another bonus.

With this fantastic bus ride we also had a sleeping Emily - again. She had slept the day before on the bus, but woke up for dinner. Tonight we did not have that happen. Emily was asleep when we hit downtown Disney, and so was Hannah. Fortunately with four adults we had taken two strollers that night. Hannah woke up upon arrival, so we switched her and Luke in the stroller. Our first stop was to finally get this boy some ears!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0545.jpg

It was so fun to be in the Design a Tee Shop. We did not design shirts ... I think we will wait until we are older, but I hope we get to come back then.

There were so many great choices for ears, but we went with a classic... there are eventually some pics.

Our next stop was dinner- we went to
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0566.jpg

What a fantastic meal. It was an awesome deal on the dining plan too. DH got the spaghetti and a salad, yogurt and drink. I got the BBQ Chicken Quesadilla- I have had it before and was not disappointed. Hannah got a pizza. I did not have my dessert, I think Hannah had it rather I ate her cookie. This seemed to be a theme of the trip, me switching out some of my food. We will for sure be back- everyone left full and thrilled with our dinner. The only warning is it was crowded, we had the big butcher block table by the drinks for our group.
Our hungry Hannah!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0546.jpg

Then we did some shopping and I also grabbed Luke's ornament from the Christmas Store-- it was darling and I will take a picture!

I went to the Pin store and grabbed a Toothfairy gift- Hannah was ready to give her tooth to the fairy tonight- so I got her a HS Musical Pin!

While everyone visited the stores the girls hit the fountains! Emily woke up just as we were ready...

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0555.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0557.jpg

There were a ton of kids there... and we headed down to the other set for a minute before drying off, changing and catching the bus back! There also was a group of kids in underwear--- bizarre. A CM took care of that thankfully!

So glad we got back to the fountains for fun... next time Luke can join in!

I did not do much shopping, but I had gotten the ornament, the ears, and the pins- mission complete. It was so relaxing just sitting there watching the girls. I did venture down to Guest services to get our O'Hana's pic put on our photopass that evening too-- way less wait than at the parks. It was almost cool that night, it was not too miserable being outside- finally. I wanted to venture down by the new T-Rex but we were hoping to get to bed early- we had a big breakfast date with Pooh and Friends at 8:20!

I'm looking forward to seeing Luke in his ears, I'm sure he's adorable. The kids look like they're having a ball in the fountain. We let ours frolick this trip due to the pictures from your last TR. So what did Em have for dinner?

Those fountains are great - it was the first thing we did on our first trip in 2005. It was completely unexpected, and exactly what my kids needed after a long day of delayed travels. I remember reading how much your kids loved them in your last report, too!

I really want to try Wolfgang Puck's on our June trip. My SIL and BIL went a month ago (they had the CS plan), and raved about it. I think they ended up going back during the week they were there!

Can't wait to see CP - hope you got some great shots on your own on Main Street!

Monday, June 21st

We were headed back to Magic Kingdom, hoping for a redo. This was a big day of eating- we were having breakfast at Crystal Palace at 8:20 and then heading to LeCellier that night at 6:00.

Our plan for MK was this: Tomorrowland, Fantasyland and Toontown. We were also hoping to leave just after lunch so we could swim and rest before our night at EPCOT.

We got up early, caught the first bus around at 7:30 that we saw and had a pretty much empty bus to MK. There was less than five others with us on the bus. When we got there I was suprised to see a line where the early ADR entry was, and we waited until just a few minutes before 8 to get in. So there was a bit of a crowd on Mainstreet, but we did not need to hurry!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0570.jpg

I tried to get all three... but no one cooperated. I do think though I have the girls with Walt already by themselves.

We stopped up towards the Castle for some pictures. It was a sunny day.. these look dark, much to my dismay!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image306-1.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image312.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image317.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image327.jpg

Then we went to check in at Crystal Palace.

I was super worried about missing the characters, because I did not want to wait around. So I seemed to dash and dart to get my crazy kids food all the time. Luke ate I think half the buffet that day!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0580.jpg

It was so different having Emily be so brave... she had a blast at this meal, she was really outgoing and in love with the characters!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0595.jpg

Everyone ate a lot, the food was good and there were lots of choices. I am still not sure which breakfast I enjoyed more between CP and O'Hana's.

We were not in a huge hurry, I did not want to rush anyone but we did pay our tip and bill early so we could leave when we were done. It was super fun to watch the crowds race to the second rope drop while we were relaxing inside!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0598.jpg

And we were off. We headed back towards Fantasyland. Emily again wanted to see Ariel (perhaps having the dresses on inspired this) and DH went to get PP FPs. There was of course no line for Ariel, since it again opened early and it was just about ten minutes after nine. (Dumbo however was crazy)

As we walked through the Grotto it was a fabulous moment.... Ariel was so excited to see the girls. She was once again terrific and gushed all about their beautiful dresses! She was beyond sweet and Emily adores Ariel. That is what inspired the dresses to begin with, my sister in law knew Em would love those dresses to met her Ariel.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image331.jpg

Emily was on :cloud9:

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image345.jpg

Once we were done there we headed to Tomorrowland. We were going to ride the Racecars...

I was the official photographer, and the guys took the big girls!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0603.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0602.jpg

By this point Toontown had opened, so we went to see Minnie's house. My girls loved showing my parents all the fun stuff in there.

Then into Mickey's house.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0617.jpg

The girls also rode the Barnstormer this morning, but I stayed with Luke! We took a ride around on the train....

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0618.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0620.jpg

We stayed on and went the entire loop. Back to Fantasyland we headed.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0621.jpg

The girls wanted to cool off in Ariel's Grotto! It was once again terribly hot!

and now we went to

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0633.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0635.jpg

After Mickey's Philharmagic, we went to use our Peter Pan FPs, but Peter Pan was down... so we did IASW- our longest line of the trip. Honestly since PP was down it had a long line, outside the building, in the sun...

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0637.jpg

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0637.jpg

and then we went back outside to see that PP was still down. I was sad, we had only gotten that FP and we knew we were leaving soon. I asked the CM if I could have a FPs for later the trip, since we were leaving MK and not coming back that day. The CM said to take it to another FP ride and they would honor it since PP was down- done!

We went to try to ride the Jungle Cruise. We had not rode it yet, so that was the ride of choice because everyone could do it. Well after a few minutes in a long FP line (btw the CM was not happy that the PP CM told us that, but he allowed it) DH, Luke, Em and I said we were done. Luke was tired, Em was tired and hot so we left Hannah with my parents in line and said we would see them at CSR.

We headed up a crowded Main Street through the shops, and Emily scored her beloved charm bracelet! Hannah had one, so she wanted one so Daddy got her that. We were off to the buses in a flash, waited just a minute or two and were back in our rooms quickly. We decided to take the kids swimming first nap second...and then the rest of the gang returned. They checked out the tree house next, which Hannah loved. Hence we have watched Swiss Family Robinson twice since returning home, and it is on the birthday list as a DVD Hannah wants!

After a bit Luke and I returned for naps, and even I got a bit of a Disney nap! Rested, showered and hungry we were off to EPCOT!

Hannah started at 8lbs 15 oz, Em was 7lbs 9 oz, and Luke was 7lbs 2 oz. Emily surpassed Hannah and well... she still has a baby look and some chunk. Luke does not have the belly or cheeks his sister has.

I am so looking forward to some more slow paced off days. I doubt we will ever do a seven straight park day again... and having three kids under six just added to the craziness of the days we had.

so glad you got to go back to DTD without the rain! sounds like you had a great evening. and isn't wolfgang puck express sooooooo good? it's my favorite CS. such a great value on the dining plan! we always try to go there at least once a trip. there's one in downtown atlanta and i always go by there if i'm working down there. even if i've already eaten i'll get something to go for dinner that night. so good!

I could eat there everynight. DH loves Earl of Sandwich, but I think now he understands what he has been missing, especially on the dining plan!

Great picture of the girls!

This is another great picture! You and your mom look so pretty!

This was such a fun morning. I did not feel like we got up early or anything. We were just getting some extra MK time in, and knew we had another MK day coming up!

Wonderful pictures. The picture of Luke, Roy and Minnie is so cute. Luke has the cutest expression looking at Minnie.

The girls dresses were just right to meet Ariel, and the pictures were fun to view. I love the way Hannah poses in her pictures with her hands.

Thanks for the kind words... Hannah and her hands in the pics.... it is ongoing.

Thanks Anita

Great update! Love the pictures of Emily with Ariel. They are so sweet. Looks like you had a wonderful time with Pooh and friends as well!

I really like CP for dinner when we ate there in 07, now I would be torn because breakfast was great too, but I think early time in MK would win out.

She watched it with my parents and then watched it with our neighbors here, complete with Hannah narration.

I so wish we would have said hi... I was clueless or thinking that I had seen you at another park. We sat at LeCellier by a family we saw the next night at Mama Melrose, so we seemed to bump into the same set of people.

Luke’s getting a few.

I'm a little behind so:

Love the water pictures from DTD. I know your girls love to do that. I don't know why anyone would let their child walk around in their underwear? Oh well, at least the CM handled it.

Your husband really got some great pictures of him with the kids this trip! In fact, you really don't have a "bad" picture. All of them have turned out so great so far.

I can feel the heat looking at your pictures, but it seems like your kids did really well considering how hot it was.

We love CP! The food is always good and the characters are always great there.

:woohoo: for a Disney Nap for you! That is so nice!!

A Disney nap is a good nap, I was watching General Hospital... and then I woke up and it was over...heavenly!

I have never made their invites like this. Last year Hannah's were on the computer, I did want to give it a try though this year.

Loved the birthday invites! We have a 1 year birthday coming up next Sunday, my poor Megan is so stressed that it will all be perfect...

I expect you will post pics- right?

I am stressing about cakes. I want both to have something of their own, whether it be a jumbo cupcake (there is a bakery I am in love with that I found last week) or small cakes. But I need something for everyone to have as dessert, I just can't decide.

I'm a little behind so:

Love the water pictures from DTD. I know your girls love to do that. I don't know why anyone would let their child walk around in their underwear? Oh well, at least the CM handled it.

I'm back in the scrapbooking sweatshop...err..desk too. I'm just waiting for my pictures to arrive.

It was terribly hot everyday. At DTD that night it was cooler. I have never been that hot before, and the kids never complained. Hannah said about it afterwards- who cares if it is hot, I love to be at Disney. Good thinking kid!

CP was great, I am not sure if I can pass that by again. At least while I have kids that enjoy characters.

Yes my husband has tons of pics with kids. Me, not so much. I took most of them. I think part of it relates to the extra lbs I need/want to lose.

I have a cricuit, and the cartridge was a gift for Christmas that I was not sure how much I would use (not one I wanted), but I thought it made cute things for invites.

I promised myself I would be done with the scrapbooking stuff this week and put it away, we will see. Done meaning caught up!

HOW do you have time for the kids, the DIS, all the mom stuff and then the scrapbooking/crafty stuff???? I really need to take time management lessons from you. ;) Seriously, the invites are really cute, as are all of your pictures. First of all, I stay up too late (and really don't require a lot of sleep). Secondly I only scrapbook a ton during the summer. Once it is out I work hard to get the pages done once the kids go to bed. I also love to finish things, so I work hard to get things off my to do list (scrapbooking, Trip report). My house is well, not the cleanest, and I always have laundry to do.

Love the dresses... and the pix of Ariel and Em!!

You look like you're having fun, too! No mommy melt-downs today!! :thumbsup2

I love the CP breakfast, too. We're doing it again this year!! (Thanks for reminding me to ask for the bill right away.)

I got the birthday paper at Archivers... I loved it and made it work with the cricut cutouts.

The birthday invites are sooo cute!!! Great job on them!

Luke is too cute fast asleep in his high chair. Connor used to fall asleep in the strangest places -- we have a picture where he fell asleep in his chair eating a cookie on Christmas (I guess the early morning was just too much for him )!

Thank you too much for the kind words on the kids, we think they are pretty cute too, but I am a bit biased.

I am terrible at scrapping in winter, I would rather watch the regular season tv shows, and school work interferes too. I try to get a bit done then, but not the bulk of it.

Your invites are adorable. Don't you find it hard to scrapbook and paper craft when you have little ones? I tell myself that I'm going to make time, but then it never happens, and my kids are big!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0648.jpg

We had a quick wait and were off to EPCOT.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/Image362.jpg

Once we arrived it was already 5:30 and so we headed straight to LeCellier. Emily had once again fallen asleep... yikes about her string of dinner naps. As I checked us in the kind CM said we had a both table, so sleeping Emily found her spot on the bench. She slept through much of dinner, but awoke just in time to eat her hotdog-- how exciting right?

We had the most handsome waiter, and sat almost at the same table as last time we ate there, very close to the bathroom, in that corner. I got a smoothie that night as my drink, as did the girls- yea dining plan. Everyone ordered the filet, and I think we all got the mashed potatoes as a substitute. It was once again a fantastic meal, the breads were wonderful, desserts fantastic and we left there stuffed. This was again the best meal hands down agreed by all our group.

Afterwards DH and my dad wanted to see the "new" Canada movie, so we separated. My mom and I took the kids back to the Living Seas. We rode Nemo again- and then we walked right into Crush. I think that pavillion is often times pretty slow after dinner. I am so glad the girls got to see this again, both loved it and my mom thought it was super cute.

Someday I won't travel like this....
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0651.jpg

We then met back up with my dh and dad and decided to do one last ride- yes back to Mexico and another boat trip with Donald.

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0653.jpg

The crowds were gathering for Fantasmic, it was almost 8:30!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/IMG_0656.jpg

It was once again a beautiful night. I so love all the parks at night, but fighting the crowds after Illuminations was just not what I wanted to do. Someday we will get to see Illuminations again, no worries.

As we headed out we talked about Tuesday's plans. My parents were planning to come back to EPCOT in the morning, we were planning to just relax at the hotel before going to HS that night. I was considering changing our ADR, but we had a Fantasmic Dinner package, so we could not do it without a charge, so we stuck with Mama Melrose.

We had a few minute wait for a bus, Illuminations had started, but we still got a seat and all. We got back to our room, and the girls and my mom and I headed to the main building to do a bit of souvenir shopping for my sister in law and I got myself the Spectromagic CD. Then we went back and got ready for another fun day.... a free day!

No, someday they will all be running around, beating on each other, and hard to keep in one spot...well, that's been my experience anyway. You will find yourself missing the days when you could just strap them into the stroller. ;)

I laughed at the photos of Hannah trying to get Luke's ears on, and then the picture of DH holding Luke's arm to keep him from taking them off. Luke is so handsome in his first Mickey ears!

Once he forgets about hats he is okay... but if he remembers or knows he is insists on taking them off!

Hannah is cracking me up with her heart ring....

The ring was well worn!

Lovin Luke with his little Mickey ears! Don't blame you for not wanting to fight the crowds. I hate fighting them with a single stroller, let alone a double AND a single. Just too close for comfort for me.
I wonder what tour you'll be taking???

I keep warning Hannah in two years she is kicked from the stroller!

Glad you had a nice meal at LeCelier. Yummy steak!

I love Luke's Mickey t-shirt and ears. What a cute little Mouseketeer.:goodvibes

Ahh..relaxing resort days.:thumbsup2 Hmm.. wonder which tour you're refering to.;)

It took up quite a bit of our day, but worth it in the end.

My older DS had the same issue Em had on our 2007 trip - he kept falling asleep at dinner! We have a great pic of Donald trying to wake him up at Chef Mickey's (what an expression on his face when he woke up to Donald two inches from his nose!!) and he even slept through most of the entertainment at 'Ohanas! They just go until they can't anymore, I guess!

Great Epcot day - lots of fun. We will have to try the Donald boat ride in Mexico next summer. I think the kids will like it. We ran out of time last fall. Can't wait to hear about the tour! :cool1:
