I just posted it -- it wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared.
The kids always want to ride it, but when we walk past it, the line always seems huge!
Yes, I have sampled quite a bit of food and drink around the World. :thumbsup2
Okay, Okay, so she likes to eat and drink her way around the World, that is not a crime, people! As I mentioned before, CP, we were still looking forward to a drink list, and it does "seem" that you have some experience with the selections.... why, just a few days ago you were talking about a Yak and Yeti and, an Avalanche (wait... was that LL?) slushies, and.. and... So Where is THAT list?!?!? ;) Will be looking for it on your PTR since you now have ALL this time being out of school! :upsidedow
AND I have never been on the Speedway, either. :rolleyes1 So I read in the UG it is a DUMBO is disguise... meaning cars instead of elephants, and you should treat it the same way -- get on it first! IT is on our list, for sure!
Okay, back to reading. You ladies have been a tizzy of DIS-ing these past 72 hours!!!! :surfweb:

So I had to change my Ticker... it was off a day and driving me crazy since today we are at one month. So a month from today we will be at WDW!
My ticker is a day off, too, but I can't bear the thought of sending Tink back to the start.
We've never done the Speedway either, but your family looks like they're enjoying it.:goodvibes I'll have to look at my ticker after this post. Today should be 30 days for us. We started our countdown calendar today.:thumbsup2
Yeah, well mine is off too ... WAY off. BUT that is another story :faint:
These tickers remind me of the movie Ground Hog Day!!!
So Happy ONE MONTH TO GO IluvXU!!! 30 days 30 days 30 days!!!! :cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Tuesday, June 23rd
This day is free until our 4ish ADR for Mama Melrose with the Fantasmic Dining Package. There are lots of scenarios I have in my head:
A- stay late at EPCOT on Monday and sleep in, pool time and head to HS late afternoon. Have dinner, catch a show/something quick and watch Fantasmic
B- go to MK Monday night, stay late, sleep in, pool, and head to HS late afternoon...dinner, show/something quick then Fantasmic
C-get up for RD and head to HS to ride TSM... not sure what else and then have an early rest/swim break before heading to dinner.
D- RD at AK do whatever we missed, want to do again, break/swim and then head to HS for dinner and Fantasmic.
To be honest I doubt we decide this before Monday night.
*****I say sleep in, but we don't really sleep in, ever, especially at WDW. My kids move quick to see the Mouse and friends.
I think the TBA strategy is the best! We built this in for the trip a few times. I am glad we are, because you are right, you never know and it is good to have options! :thumbsup2

We've never done the Speedway either, but your family looks like they're enjoying it.:goodvibes I'll have to look at my ticker after this post. Today should be 30 days for us. We started our countdown calendar today.:thumbsup2
I can skip the Speedway... I like to take pictures. I probably will skip and keep Luke this time.
WOW 1 month! I get to say that on Wednesday!:cool1: I would vote for sleeping in too but maybe just a relaxing day at the resort would be good too? I was laughing when you put you were looking forward to Indy Speedway! I DESPISE that ride. I am alone in my hatred though because the boys LOVE it and I cannot understand why:confused3:rolleyes1 Matthew can ride alone thank goodness which means Bryan can ride with Eric and I can just wait!!:goodvibes
Looking forward to was decided mostly by the girls (meaning Hannah). It is not one of my favorites, DH likes it though. It is about as boy as we get!
Okay, Okay, so she likes to eat and drink her way around the World, that is not a crime, people! As I mentioned before, CP, we were still looking forward to a drink list, and it does "seem" that you have some experience with the selections.... why, just a few days ago you were talking about a Yak and Yeti and, an Avalanche (wait... was that LL?) slushies, and.. and... I am a tad bit jealous of all the yummy drinks CP has tried. I barely have time to go to the bathroom, let alone wait for a drink around WS, someday! Plus they were all out last summer...
I have been DISing and getting stuff typed to update my "mini tour plan book" I did not update last year... but I need to change things around this year. I am TGM printing, Touring Plans printing and compiling... I just need to do the actual updated typed pages soon.
Yeah, well mine is off too ... WAY off. BUT that is another story :faint:

I feel like we should be able to accomplish a lot, as long as Luke cooperates. He is easy to bribe right now with food- he loves any real food he can handle and ice cream is well :cloud9:
I had to change my ticker too, it was driving me nuts. My ticker must be accurate. :lmao:
I am going to do my list today and include it in an update. :thumbsup2
Did you do it and I missed it? I saw the hats and bag post....

I am excited for you.... how much fun pink stuff have you been picking up!
One of my favorites because Brooklynn always starts singing. I can't wait for Isabella to ride it and see her try to take it all in.
I tear up thinking about how Emily loved it the last two summers. Hannah is kinda beyond it, there are other rides she likes. Plus Em loves dolls, so to her it is a perfect ride. I hope Emily still loves it this trip, because I doubt I will get Luke to ride it long without protest....
I really wish they sold cute Princess shirts in my size.....:lmao:
I love It's A Small World. Granted, I only ride it once a trip but it doesn't feel like a complete trip unless I have gone on it.
It was closed Hannah's first trip...
I think we have every princess shirt ever made... and this year they will be switching wearers a lot, Emily is now into a lot of Hannah's old ones!
I have ridden It's a Small World lots!!! :thumbsup2 My favorite scene is the one at the end with all the blue and white. So pretty!
Mine too, I love to figure out the countries that each doll is representing in that room!

So this week is busy: my field day Friday, another softball game, a different work schedule, last swim lessons and Hannah's preschool graduation. I cannot believe my baby is going to Kindergarten. Her last day is tomorrow morning, graduation tomorrow night. While she is ready for Kindergarten it is sad to think she is going to school everyday next year!
As for the trip, I dug out my WDW box in the basement, fans, ponchos, and other DISNEY goodies were found. I am also realizing my small laundry basket of Disney stuff is getting stuffed... I know it will be here before we know it!
Have a great week everyone!

I think they'll enjoy the Muppets - my older son was not so sure about the 3-D at Philharmagic, but this one was different. He loved it! Of course, that could have something to do with the fact that he's the biggest fan of physical comedy that you've ever seen (and you can always count on the Muppets for that)! But we have watched several Muppet Show DVDs since our last trip! I love that - it was one of my favorites growing up. :goodvibes

The missing post just matched a missing day ( I worked in the AM- a switch from normal,) walked in my door only to leave in ten minutes to go to a great park with the kids and my mom, only to get home a few minutes after five, make dinner, go run two errands, water flowers... and it was like 8:30 by that point... crazy! I never stopped... it was a good day to practice for WDW!
As for the Haunted Mansion, Hannah loved it. Emily rode it once last summer, tolerated it. Being that she thinks she is a big girl I expect she will ride it and claim to really like it this summer.

I love Peter Pan. When MeMom (before she was a MeMom) and I went with Trent and Drew we got in line for Peter Pan the wait said 45 minutes (This was a trip before the Dis and our now vast knowledge of the World and how it works)Well we ended up being in line for like 2 hours. The CM was letting every single fastpass person on without making them wait at all. Every time someone started walking down the ramp he would stop our line literally as soon as he saw someone coming, and then wait for them to come up and get their fastpasses and then he would start to put the chain up and half the time about the time he got the chain hooked here came another group down the ramp so he would open it back up and wait for them. Now we are older and wiser with many trips under our belts and we know better. Rope Drop, Dumbo, Peter Pan.

I have a little brown book that I used both trips (a small photosleeve album) that I carry in our bags with impt info (ADRs, TGM tips, our plans). Last year I was lazy... no updates for our three park days (it was MK and EPCOT, both parks I feel I can tour well)
So I have been studying and plugging away at AK this past week. I am proud to say my plans are done, or as done as they can be. I just need to get a new printer cartridge so I can do some fancy color printing. I plan to do a new plan for HS, and a bit of tweaking for MK/EPCOT.
Other than that I planned out the rest of the year for school today, so I have my plans pretty much done, but still have not found out for sure if we are moving rooms or gotten our end of the year checkout packet (probably because we still have forever!!!!)
A goal I have for this weekend is to look at my packing list and make some adjustments/ get a shopping list together. I also have to make some Luke packing list (he requires a lot of stuff- and is seeming to be changing his eating habits so to plan for three weeks out is hard).

Ok... it's been a while since I posted (I think one of mine might have gotten eaten too?)
Anyhow...
The boys LOVED Muppet 3D. Make sure to show them the key under the mat. I think Hannah would find that pretty funny!
We skipped Haunted Mansion on our last trip. I thought it would be too scary for the boys. I can't wait to hear about the girls' reactions. It might motivate me for next time. We were getting ready to walk on Peter Pan last August and Doug decided it was too scary. I think that's one of the rides we'll need to watch on youtube before our next trip.
And Dole Whips... MMM!! I have a friend who searched all over the US when she was pregnant to find places other than Disney that sold Dole Whips - she missed it that much. Right about now, I can TOTALLY see doing that!
I hope you get the check-out packet soon! There's something about getting that that makes you feel so much more accomplished - a "I made it through the school year" feeling!
Did you end up deciding to do a new camera? What are you going to go with?
Have a great holiday weekend!

Today we are looking forward to Monsters Inc Comedy Floor... always fun in the summer heat since it provides a cool break!
Today was my school's field day. We had skydivers, five, fly in at our closing ceromonies (a parent is in the group!) So cool... but boy it was hot sitting there waiting! Kids had fun, probably all went to bed early... too bad we have three weeks of school left!
I also had a great teacher moment. Today I got an email from a parent of a child I had 7 years ago, who is graduating from HS. He was a Luke and well I just loved him to pieces. I went to see him swim, loved his mom and every year take out the snowman he got me for Christmas and smile! I am so touched she is inviting me to his graduation party... and surprising him. (She had heard I had moved and needed my address).
That is why I go to work everyday. I cannot wait to see him, I have seen his mom and him a few times out and about... but I can't wait to introduce my Luke to the first Luke... who I hope my Luke is like someday! (I will admit that my love of the name Luke relates to the love I had for that little boy, who was so fun, sweet and kind. He was bright, but worked hard to do well... and has a full scholarship to College!!!!!
Back to planning tonight... I hope to knock out HS soon!

Isn't it sad that we can't focus more on the "Luke" moments in teaching and less on test scores?

What a great compliment to this young man, that you want your son to be like him! Some of my proudest moments in life have been when other parents have told me that they hope their son or daughter grows up to be like one of my kids. It makes a mom feel good about how her child has represented him/herself and the family. I know Luke will be so happy to see you, and if he allows it, we would love to see a picture of you and the two Lukes at the party.
It's great that he has a full scholarship. It's so nice to see all that dedication and good character rewarded! :)
Isn't it sad that we can't focus more on the "Luke" moments in teaching and less on test scores?
Exactly what I am hoping to experience a little more of next year with my move down one level! I am looking so forward to putting some fun back into my teaching!

I predict that you will be sharing with Luke, I'm sure he will want some, unless you can get it while he is napping! Will Hannah and Em have their own Dole Whips this year?
I plan to use all my snack credits while he is napping... he sees food and just stares and makes a fuss!
:lmao: That is so true!
Kathy
I hate wearing dark colored shirts... but the kids destroy light color ones on
me of late...
Ok... it's been a while since I posted (I think one of mine might have gotten eaten too?)
I want to rent a Muppet movie, I bet we can find one at Blockbuster... that might make it more fun for them if they have some knowledge. Emily has warmed up to the Scooby Do ride at Kings Island which is in the dark. I hope that makes the dark rides at MK more interesting to her.
I am wondering if we can ever get our check out list. Now we have a hold up in regards to the money our grade level spends... yikes
I have my new cannon camera... but need to clear out memory cards so I can use it .... I have some time to explore, so we will see. I hope to clear out my cards tomorrow... and get some pics then!
That is so awesome that Luke's mom looked you up. I know that Luke had really touched your heart. How awesome it will be to see him! :lovestruc

Thanks so much for sharing... they are great. Hannah watched it via YouTube today after seeing the pics.
Excellent pictures, MOP! Nemo is a great show, and her kids will surely enjoy it. And sitting down in a cool building is always a nice thing, too!
I hope all works wonderfully well for Fantasmic. I hope they add some shows to our week, too, even though we have the Hollywood and Vine dinner package booked. It would just be nice for it not to be so, so, so packed for people trying to watch the show.
I am in the same boat MeMom... some people can hopefully stay later..
I agree, those were great pictures! Did you sneak up on stage to take them?
We loved Finding Nemo and are hoping to see it again this year!:goodvibes ALL of you will love it!
It is moving to must do...
We were sitting in the 4th or 5th row and I had done a lot of reading on the best ways to get good pics from that show.
I figured Laura needed a little eye candy to with their Disney dreams today! :cool1:
It was a treat! Great pics!
You're like me, Laura -- when DH wants to see/do something at Disney, I always make sure we fit it in -- whatever it takes to keep them happy and going back! ;)
On Saturday he was talking Disney Vacation Club-- I am the one that "nos" to that....
After my best intentions, I did not get much done this weekend:rolleyes1 I hope you are right and the do offer more Fantasmics at the end of June!! Yay for 12 more school days!!:cool1: The waterpark sounds so fun! How nice that just you and DH got to go with the girls!:goodvibes
Today we went with my sister in law and it was just the girls again. It was a treat... and they just want to stay forever.....they would love the Disney waterparks- someday!
Those pictures were truly incredible! :worship:
This is exactly why we are going back to the meat-fest that is called Ohana..........:rotfl:
That dropped off DH radar... not sure exactly why?

Bags
Like many of my DIS friends I would like this bag
http://i49.photobucket.com/albums/f286/missjill5/March%202009/disney3-18-09beginningHSAK342.jpg
But yesterday I saw one that I need...
We were sitting at the waterpark at Kings Island, and their was a big red WDW bag with a zipper. It is made of the thick plastic grocery reusable material that the COSTCO bags are made of. It would be a great pull bag for me, since it has a zipper and holds a lot! I sure hope I find it, and had I had my camera I would have snapped a picture of someone elses bag- crazy right?

Ha Ha! My oldest DS wore DD's pink Mickey ears until he was almost 4. Now the baby has been seen in them...to DD, everyone looks better in pink. And there's only one of her - I think Luke may be in for some pink in his future with two big sisters, even if he gets his own mouse ears.
I love the Mickey ice cream bag! Where did you see that? I know your pain - I've just been trying to find the right bag to get me through the summer (the baby doesn't need quite as many things now, and I needed something smaller than the diaper bag). Finally found one this weekend (three trips to return not-quite-right bags later...). Good luck!

I had my third-graders copy and create their own illustrations of a poem about a little boy wearing his sisters' hand-me-downs. It's cute, and I thought of it when I saw the picture of Luke!
I once put Trent's long blonde hair up in pigtails to see what he'd look like as a girl. I have the picture hidden away somewhere.

Aw, I'm sure Luke will have his own ears soon! He's precious.
I know others have already stated this, but it is totally possible to see Nemo and FOTLK on the same day - in fact, this time last week that's what I was doing!! We saw the 11:30 showing of Nemo and then saw the 4:30 (last) showing of FOTLK - I don't know if you can do this one and still see the parade, though. We skipped the parade to get character pics and autographs. DH and I didn't get to the park until after 10:00 and we were able to see pretty much everything we wanted to see before closing at 5:00.

Curtsy and twirling. They did not try them on when their cousins were here, too busy. But I got them to later. Hannah of course freaked out that Emily was smashing her bows...
Those dresses are adorable! I wish I was that talented.
I have no talent. The fabric being smocked however did make it easier to do. I would love to do bows, my sister in law said that the ribbon was hard to make the fairies or princesses show right. She has three girls and made some for her girls too. I am amazed at how she got it to all show the characters just perfect, the pics do not do them justice!
I love those dresses and bows!! I would be totally planning it so they could wear them at least twice!
Your SIL should start a business.
I am thinking to wear the pink princess dresses at EPCOT (we see the princess around WS) and to wear the Tink dresses our first MK day (we will get there early and get the meet and greet done). Then another MK day we will wear the Ariel dresses and meet her!
I am all for the girls wearing one to the CRT lunch, but I am not sure they will give up the big gowns. We will see!
MY SIL totally talented. The cutest cakes, favors, invites, scrapbooks, you name it she does it!

We saw Up this afternoon. It was SO cute! As always, the short before the movie is hilarious. We laughed out loud through much of the movie. In true Disney fashion there were plenty of jokes for the kids at heart as well as for the honest to goodness kids.
There was a preview for The Princess and the Frog. It looks really good, too. I'm glad to see that it is not going to be CGI.
The bows and dresses are adorable! Wish I could do that!

And Brook, I feel your pain about getting to do the "girly" stuff like Little Mermaid. While my boys like princesses, they are far more excited for the Incredibles and Toy Story crew.
You have a princess: on the way though, right? Then your boys will have to suffer through all the girly stuff! ;)
Glad you joined in. I have loved your reports the past few months.... but I know that your first pretrip I was never going to get caught up...
It is a cool place in the heat, so we always hit Little Mermaid, plus we have girls. I think it is fun, and gets through the story quickly too!
Thank you! It's been so fun to write the TRs. And that first PTR was a beast! I can't even remember how many pages it ended up being. Hopefully this one will be more fun and a bit more organized.
LOVE the dresses and bows. Soooo cute. And what talent! :thumbsup2
How did your little one do on Goofy's? How old was she when she went on it? I read last night that you need to be 35" to ride. Henry was 34" a few weeks ago at a Dr. appointment, so I'm guessing he'll be past 35" by the time December rolls around. I just don't want to completely freak him out-he seems to be a fairly timid child...he was scared of so many things (the drop in POTC, Figment (loud), the drop in Maelstorm, etc.) this past trip in January.
Those dresses and bows are just to cute:). What a great talent I wish I could just do the bows:goodvibes. A little matching shirt for Luke would be really cute:rolleyes1:goodvibes. I'm just saying;)
Ooooh, I agree! How cute would that be???!!!

The dresses! TOOOOOOOOO cute. And the hair ribbons! very sweet.
SO much to look forward to! Including Luke in new mickey ears :)

Oh how fun!! We love the Barnstormer too. Such a fun ride.
I want to take A. to see UP, but not sure how she would do in a theater. Can't wait to hear your experience with Em.
We did not get there, it was too nice outside. I am hoping for a night this week!
I'm looking forward to riding Goofy's Barnstormer this year, too. Last trip George rode with the girls and I hung with Ian. This time we can all ride.:woohoo:

In my defense she said she wanted to ride it!!! She didn't want to in October, but in November she wanted to but the line was too long. She says she wants to Dinosaur in July. So MeMom will have another ride to hold over my head as I continue in the "I torture my child" category.

Don't worry, Jill! I warned one of my best friends about Dinosaur (even though my two love it), so when her two daughters decided to get cranky, she and her husband took them on it. She said they didn't say a word for an hour afterwards, and then the rest of the trip whenever they misbehaved she would say, "Do we need to go ride Dinosaur again?" :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

Both my girls (especially Emily, even now) were late to have much hair (or later than I wanted) so I am big into doing their hair with bows and such. I am a sucker for matching Gymboree bows, and well since I like to get stuff from the same collection I am normally having a matching bow. I am afraid Hannah will abandon my bows soon... but I will not stop! In fact I tease that at least she can wear cute bows with her uniform next fall!

I think EE is 45 or 44. Hannah is over 46 inches --- at Kings Island she is big enough to ride Whitewater Canyon and Congo Falls this season.

So June has arrived. I can say we are going to WDW this month.
We have 15 days till Disney, 10 days left of school/teacher workdays! (that still sounds like a ton of days)
and lots of stuff to do like 5 softball games, go see Up and well pack! I only did a tad bit of planning this weekend, like EPCOT so now I need to get on the ball!
Have a great Monday everyone, it was bottle time here so I am up early... and took a peek at the calendar (I am thinking my sleeping princess: won't awake until after I go to school ) said we are looking forward to
Spaceship Earth!

It stops on us quite often, too. Sometimes, it just stops for a short time, like maybe they are unloading a physically impaired person or something. But sometimes it stops for a really long time - longer than it would ever take to just do something like that, so they must have a lot of glitches in the system. It's kind of bad when you are planning to ride SSE, and you have to factor in the very real possibility that you might be in there for quite a while. If we're under any kind of time constraint, we'll skip it and come back later.
To all you June people - your time has come! Pretty exciting stuff! :dance3:

- Haircuts for the girls and me
-Stop Mail
-Newspaper Stop
-Neighbor help list (mow, water, trash put back in)
That is all I have, it cannot be .....
In the other room is a Muppets Movie, Hannah loves it, so I think she will be begging to see the 3 D at HS!

EEK! I have a sick kid. We were busy at the zoo and butterfly show, and Emily was beat at the butterfly show. I just thought it would be a nap day since the storms last night woke her up... nope she has a 102 temp! Here is to hoping if it goes around my house we get done before WDW!
And we had planned to see Up! tonight... no go... so Hannah is watching HS Musical 2 (we have not seen any and our neighbors don't have one)
Oh no! I hope she feels better pronto!

I did NOT realize there was a new Playhouse Disney Show! I gotta Google that! Henry wouldn't know the difference, but Joe and I do.
We've never done Pooh's Playful Spot, it looks great! MeMom, those pics of Brooklynn there are just adorable, I really like the one of her reaching up for the bell. I love her 4th of July gear with the bows and all, so cute.

Fun! We love that "spot". When we were there in Nov., the "squirters" weren't working. I'm not sure if they shut them off when it gets to a certain temp. or not. I hope they are working when you go! :)
I hope they are working too.... I was barely there last time, I think Doug had Emily in there when Hannah and I did something.
Yuck!! I know that feeling - that "Oh, please please PLEASE let them get through this before our trip" feeling. But you should have just enough days before you go for that to happen! Sending some pixie dust your (and Emily's) way!pixiedust:pixiedust:
I just hope no else gets it. We have a lot going on.... yikes! But I am glad we have over a week to get it out of the system.
Poor baby! I hope it passes quickly.
It broke over night, and then around 11 today it was back!
Oh no! Hopefully it will come and go quickly and not affect anyone else!:goodvibes Sending some pixie dust your way!:wizard:

Just a quick update:
Emily slept all night- and woke up with no temp. I am sure we will keep her resting a bit today... as much as you can a three year old.
I have our big picnic sundae party at school... I hope to finish report cards this weekend too. My end of the year stuff is starting to get done, but still no real news on the moving rooms front (that is the hard part)
Hannah has a softball game tonight....we have a graduation party tomorrow... and the Vacation Bible school next week (Hannah is going and I am helping my two free mornings in the babysitting- which I must be crazy because now it is like working a full day on Tuesday and Wednesday). I plan to take Em with me so she can do some of the stuff too!
Have a great Friday... my late risers are up and demanding food!

Donald's boat would be a hit with Henry. My girls love it, and we never wait to ride, so that makes it extra great. My girls finally watched Toy Story this past year, I have tried to hit all the movies that are tied to attractions so we have happier girls doing "boy" things --- Emily is constantly saying that is for boys, and Hannah needs some prior knowledge to try things...

They are everywhere.. these live check ins. I think that there is to much DISing happening... or else that is how she plans her days, what are my friends longing to do :rotfl2:
I wanted to hit the campfire at Ft.Wilderness when we were at WL. We never made it... someday. It seems if we are not at a park at night we always end up in the pool. I have tossed around the idea of the first night going there, but Luke might be a stinker.... he did not go to the campfire tonight- he stayed with Dad and had a boy's night!
I had to come back when I realized it was time to do the single digit dance!

That's dad, mom, and the kids, in case you didn't recognize yourselves. :)
I can barely believe it... I promised CP I would not wish her week away... but it is fun thinking how close we are.
So we have a new pile for WDW in our bedroom that is growing. Yesterday I spend a lot of time cleaning out our closet.... I had pretty much trashed it with winter and summer stuff. Now you can actually see the floor and find things. Along the way anything for Disney went to a pile. The stuff that had accumulated on my desk in the kitchen for Disney went in a pile too. Today we are going to see Up after church and DH gets done golfing. Then I think I might start actually taking some of the piles in our room along with the stash in the basement and PACK a bag or two. I am having to sort stuff between what we are flying with versus what my parents are taking for us in their car. I want to fly with the least amount so we can handle the stuff in the airport- we only plan to check one big bag and then do carryons.
Today we are looking forward to Toy Story Mania. We will be there two weeks from today at DHS...early to ride this ride for the first time!

My closet is better... our room, not so much. I think I will pack there, which means it will be trashed. I need to get the tub of Disney goodies out of the basement then too.
How can you go wrong with TSM and Buzz??!! GREAT rides, both! So kid friendly!
Okay, yes you are in the final countdowns now! MY MY!!! Your packing piles crack me up! That is generally how it starts, isn't it!?!?!? ;)
The calendar in the kitchen is so bare. We started at sixty something... to be at nine is nothing!
Oh, good... I'm not the only one with a messy closet and piles in my bedroom. Of course, I don't have a trip to Disney coming up, so I'm not quite sure what my excuse is.
NINE DAYS!!!! So exciting! Here's to getting the school year all put together and put away so that you can enjoy your trip!!
I will feel so great Friday, especially if the room is packed.... and ready to say bye till August!

Today we made it to see UP!
First of all we did not see it in 3D, DH and I where worried that we might have issues with the glasses and the girls for that long. As much as it would have been neat, I am not thinking Emily would have liked to wear glasses for that long.
Secondly I loved it. Funny, sad and a good story. DH enjoyed it a lot too, no grief from him, and Hannah is already asking if we can get it on DVD. She liked it, did not get all of it, and Emily sat great through it, but I am not sure if she would say she liked it. I think she was not sure what to think of the big theater, and asked if it could be paused at one point...
Somehow the day got away from me, and I think this week might too!
4 days with students, 5 days of work total, with Friday being a full day versus my normal half days(especially since we will be packing up Friday will be long)
My two "free" mornings I am doing babysitting at VBS, so those days are super busy. Just Em will go with me, my mom will keep Luke!
A softball game tomorrow and Friday!
I feel like I have everything we need, and will start to pull and pack sometime, probably midweek. I am a bit nervous about separating the stuff between our luggage to fly and my parents, especially since my parents are not arriving until the Wednesday night, and we are not 100% sure we will see them that night, it might be Thursday before we head to AK! I am trying to figure out if I can "pack" my park bag ready for Thursday and have them transport it, or is that crazy?
I think this week will be some ramblings... I need to get some input and ideas...

Hey Laura!!!! So glad you guys enjoyed UP! We loved it too!!!! I'm sorry I missed out on the Single Digit Dancing.....computer broke at SUCH a bad time!!!! But I am back up and running now!!!
Make a list of everything you will NEED until the latest you think you will see your parents. Make sure ALL of that is with you. Then look at your stuff/stash and decide (if you have room) if there is anything else that is not necessary, but might be useful to have before then as well. Pack that stuff with you according to availability in luggage, and then pack everything else up to be sent with your parents. Start making as many lists on any topic that is running through your mind, and by the time the trip is here, everything will be all worked out!!! 8 DAYS!!!!! WOO HOO!!!!!
