So here the plans (at this point) in one clear list:

Tuesday, June 16th -leave and arrive at CSR via Magical Express early afternoon. Check in and explore resort.

Wednesday June 17th -O'Hana's for breakfast. Probably onto DTD

Thursday, June 18th-Start package portion of trip (Dining Plan and Tickets) Animal Kingdom Day- no dining ADRS

Friday, June 19th-EPCOT- dinner at the Coral Reef

Saturday, June 20th- Magic Kingdom-Dinner at Chef Mickeys

Sunday June 21st- Hollywood Studios

Monday June 22nd-Magic Kingdom Morning (Crystal Palace) and EPCOT night (LeCellier)

Tuesday, June 23rd- ????? morning and MGM night (Fantasmic Dining Package at Mama Melrose)

Wednesday June 24th -Magic Kingdom -lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table

Thursday June 25th-Back Home

I hope to get planning of days and get more organized the next few weeks. I am working on looking at Touring Plans and TGM and meshing them together for our park days. I am also a bit worried about crowds... it sounds like it is crazy crowded in WDW right now.

I have been getting myself worried about the crowd levels for when I go, too. I just keep telling myself I rather deal with crowds then no Disney at all. :rotfl2:

Your plans look great---will you have enough laid back days for your DH? Are you planning on midday breaks? Sounds like you will have so much fun!

As far as our trip is concerned, we are still working on everything right now---there is so much up in the air and in flux at his job right now---he has no concerns about losing his job---but he is probably going to have to take on a larger work load......not sure how it is going to impact vacation timing just yet. BUT have no fear, we are still working on it!

Hi! :) SO tell me, have you used Touring Plans and/or TGM before? I am a little uncertain where to begin with these.... I started reviewing the prepared touring plans, then wasn't sure if I should try to make my own, or.... How do you use them?

I can't imagine that it will be that much more crazy than last summer. We will see!

That looks like an awesome week! Which date are your parents arriving?

They arrive on the Wed night. They hope to get unloaded and stuff (they are staying at an offsite hotel that night) at CSR in our room since they are bringing a lot of our stuff. (I am also sure I don't think we will fly with the new stroller- I don't want to risk it getting destroyed!) We will take an old one on the flight!

Plans look great !

Thanks!

Plans look great! What about AK for your ??? day? Do you like to do more than one day there? We always plan one day, but when we get there wish we had two. Just a thought.

I think that might be it... but I am hoping our AK to go in the AM and head back for the parade and close the park down. I have never been there of the evening!

Yay! for your Ohana breakfast:cool1: The boys are excited to try it this year too! How cool that your DH gets to go to the Sweet 16:thumbsup2 Your park days look GREAT!:goodvibes

I think we have a ton of days alike... I will be on the lookout! I am super jealous of his trip, the kids better behave the next five days!

I am sure we will break everyday. I really doubt we have many late nights, just one for wishes/spectro and Fantasmic. I am sure DH will hate going to the park all those days, but since we are flying it will be a lot less stress and allow for more down time on both ends.

DH had a terrible day at work today too. I think that is why I am glad he has his trip this weekend- he works hard!

Hi! :) SO tell me, have you used Touring Plans and/or TGM before? I am a little uncertain where to begin with these.... I started reviewing the prepared touring plans, then wasn't sure if I should try to make my own, or.... How do you use them?

I am just exploring Touring Plans. I hope to get printing and reading up the next few weeks. I did TGM the past two trips and feel it has worked well! PM me if you have more specific questions... I will try to help!

Hi! Your days look great! I think our trips have a bit of overlap. We'll be at CP for breakfast on the 22nd too!

What time is your ADR- I tried to get an earlier one once again on Sunday, but no luck!

You give me hope! The CD is perfect for my drive to work.... I love it!

June 16th and 17th plans

I am honestly looking forward a ton to just relaxing in WDW these two days. With the last day of school being just the Friday before I am sure I will need a break- I will probably be moving rooms again (three years in a row) and am thinking I might be at school a ton the week/weekend before. It might be my first pool time of the summer!

Here is what I would like to do:
Downtown Disney
I like to shop non-evening, non-weekend times. We love to go to the World of Disney store and roam.
The fountains- our girls love to play in the water there!
I also want to get Luke a first trip ornament that day (we get personalized ones and don't want to worry it won't be done)
Basin- I have never been in and think that I would love to get myself a treat there!
Earl of Sandwich/Wolfgang Puck Express- DH and I are divided... these two places are by far our favorite CS. We split up to get our favorites!

CSR
I really want some time to walk around and take in the resort. I have always wanted to visit, and this might be our only stay there since we will be too big of family! Since I don't know the lay of the land I really want to get familiar before we try to get going Thursday morning to AK!
I would love to: rent a boat for the girls to go with daddy or me one of those days!

O'Hana's
I have always tried to fit this breakfast in. We just have never had a free morning to really do so. I think if we eat a big breakfast we won't need lunch plans and can grab a quick dinner later! Getting there will be fun too, we will get a monorail ride for sure. We might bus to EPCOT and take the monorail or bus to MK and take the monorail from there... we will see what comes first!

Not too much planned... but I am thrilled to have some extra time at WDW!

Up Next: AK--- we are giving this a different touring try this year!

I like the ideas for these two days! DTD and exploring the resort, good plans... I have never stayed at CSR but I hear it is pretty :goodvibes we have never eaten at Earl's or WPExpress in DTD, I know they are chains, and like WP pizza, what do you guys get?

Yes three years in a row moving. I am sure we will move again, except this year it will probably be a move downstairs (I have been upstairs in this building for nine years, so I am not too thrilled to make this move). We are losing lots of kids, and cutting sections, so we will make some major moves I think. Last year I was one of two teachers to move---- at least I am not pregnant this year, but my bookcases have seen better days!

LOVE your down days! We are traveling a day early this year and getting a hotel offsite so we can wake up our first official day refreshed.

What is Basin?

OMGosh! I moved my classroom 2 years in a row and it was a pain in the rump! The first year was fine, I got rid of a lot of junk stuff and felt really organized. The second year I was over it and felt so unorganized the entire year because I really didn't want to move the stuff so I didn't go through it. I cannot imagine doing it another year! Why are you guys losing kids?

I have not been to Basin either...I was browsing their website yesterday!

I have an ornament for both girls. Hannah's is the baby Minnie, with her name and year of first visit on it. Emily has Mouse Ears with same info. Who knows what Luke will get...Emily's is actually on a shelf in her room!

You need to check out their website. I have seen their goodies on these boards and want to get something for myself!

I have no idea where most my stuff is this year, after a sub and my partner did a ton of organizing the room. I need to move to find things again!

Ugg... the game! I am still so sad! And I am a single parent... although the girls are at my parents.

While we have the Fantasmic dinner package I am still not 100% sure we will even be able to make it. I would love to see it though, and I think the girls would like it. My mom saw it last trip, but my dad has never seen it.

I like the idea of personalized ornaments. Do you wait while they do it? Does it take a long time?

Our resort time is only due to the extra no park days at the beginning of the trip. I still cannot grasp that we are doing seven park days and my husband has not freaked out yet!

We pick out ornaments and they always have a sign saying when they will be done. I think they can just send them on to your resort- I know we have gone back later and picked them up. Just can't be too late in your trip or it doesn't work!

Another update due to not thinking.... I did not realize we would be at WDW for Father's Day! I might have to plan something for my dad and DH. We are going to MGM that day, which is fun since it is my dad's favorite park!

Laura, do you remember the T-shirt Leslsey had made for Tim last year with Darth Vader that said, "Luke I am Your Father" on it? I thought that was sooo clever! :goodvibes The only thing is I don't think it's a Star Wars Weekend when you guys are there....but still if you are going to be at Hollywood it would still be the park to wear it to, even without SWW!

and..... I passed by Basin both at the GF and DTD :confused3 I will absolutely go in on the next trip, the Mickey soap sounds so cute! I'm not sure we could stand to use it though, it could be something like my mother keeps in her soap dish that we are never allowed to touch!:rotfl2: Gosh, does that mean that I am becoming my mother...........

Maybe you could do a fireworks cruise that night?! If you were going to be at the MK, I would suggest the Family Magic Tour.

I've read good things about www.giftsofalifetime.com (407) 909-0593. Perhaps they could help you arrange something special for the Dads!

OMG!!!! NO WAY!!!! What time of the day were you there---we ate there for lunch, YUMMY!!!! Did you tell them it was your first time? Did they give you the 4 pack of delicious homemade muffins?!?!?! Yeah, guess what I'm having for breakfast right now!!! If you didn't, next time you are there, tell them it is your first time and they will send you home with a big container of muffins!!!!

I found some okay deals at Target---nothing stellar. I'm really struggling with clothes for Megs for summer. She has hit that awkward stage where she is too tall for 5t, but I feel like the clothes in 4-6x are too old looking for her---c'mon people, she is only 5 and a half, NOT 25!!! I did find some cute croc-like sandals with the princesses on them for only $7.99---they aren't made exactly like crocs---made out of that type of material but in the shape of a sandal with a strap across the heel. They also had some for boys---I think they were Spiderman. The most luck I have had with her clothes this year is Gymboree---she is probably going to look like a walking billboard for them by the time I am done shopping for her---I just really don't want her wearing that stuff that looks so grown up.

Animal Kingdom

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/100_1854.jpg

This part will be our first this trip, which is how our 2007 trip was too. To be honest I never care which park we visit first... I trust TGM and go with that!

We will of course hit rope drop, I am pretty sure that will be easy since it is day one. My parents will meet us at CSR that morning to get our tickets and new package Keys to the World activated. Then off we will go.

My problem with AK is it always seems hot.... and we last trip were out of there before 1:00 and did not see everything we wanted. So this year I hope to go early and then return that evening... since the park is not open late I want to give it a try!

With that in mind, here is what I would like to accomplish:

Festival of the Lion King- love it, a must do for us
Kilimanjaro Safari- again a must do!
Pangani Forest Exploration Trail *** new to us- it looks so cool!
Maharajah Jungle Trek *** new to us--again I want to just explore!
Kali River Rapids- Emily is tall enough... plus I think it would be a good last ride to cool off before heading back to the hotel.
Expedition Everest- Hannah is now tall enough. I hope she rides it with us. I think this will be a ride that my Dad will enjoy a lot too!
Finding Nemo the Musical- I am so sad we did not get back to AK to see this. Does anyone know the current show times. I hope we get there!
TriceraTop Spin- the other Dumbo... I know it is a hit!
It's Tough to Be a Bug- I hope some get to enjoy. Not so sure Luke will be able to stand it. Maybe he and I can go get some FPs or something.

I also want to see Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade.

So this probably leads me to think we will break and be back to see the Parade at 3:45. Do you have to arrive early to see it? After the parade we would have 3 or 4 hours to finish up the park and I will work to see what has to be done in the AM versus what we can do that evening. I have heard that AK clears out after the parade, so we will see!

The other big thing is... I have no AK pictures. I only snapped a few last trip, so I hope to get a lot more! Therefore I really have no pics to put in this update... bummer!

http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/100_1868.jpg
look at how big Emily has gotten... she has really changed a ton!

Eating---- this of course is important... any fun snacks for AK day? I hope that we eat lunch or dinner at Flame Tree Barbecue if we have a second meal there, Pizza Safari- that is the only CS I have ever had there.

I am truly excited to try to have a split day at AK. Plus CSR is super close, so if we miss the parade I hope to skip over some afternoon. I think the girls would love it. Since HS has a different parade I am sure we will miss it this year!

Looks like a fun day! I felt the same way about AK being hotter than the surface of the sun. Wonder if it's all of the foliage?:confused3 We missed a lot also.

My kids love the monsterous turkey legs, but I guess that's more like a meal than a snack.

We love AK. My DH thinks it is all the trees/shrubs/bushes/animals that make it hot there. It seems a lot more humid as well.

We have eaten at Flame Tree (it is a must, so good!) but watch out for the crazy birds there. There are a ton!

We have done both the Trek and Trail and love both. I still haven't seen Lion King, but we saw Nemo last trip. It is a really great show.

What is the height requirement for KRR? I bet if Em is tall enough A. is tall enough. So cool that they can ride more rides this time!!

Sounds like a fun day! You know how much I love Animal Kingdom!

Both trails are great. Just watching those huge creatures in action is incredible. If you get lucky, the tigers might be romping around, but most often they are just sprawled out sleeping with not a care in the world.

I definitely hope you get to see the parade!

Flame Tree and Pizzafari - yum and yum! I don't mind the birds at Flame Tree. They have never attacked us, even though they do love to hang out very closely. I have gotten some good pictures of birds by and in the water there. I think the girls will have fun looking at all the wall art, paintings on the chairs, etc. at Pizzafari.

Can you tell I'm having fun planning with you? :)

I'll be with you in spirit on the safari and everything else except for Everest. I'm going to let my spirit sit that one out!

I've got it all planned out, see...

a new baby next week, a few Dis friends taking trips throughout April, May, and June (through which I will be able to escape from my school stresses at the end of the day), summer school (a necessary evil in order to pay Disney bills), church camp, and then it'll be time for our July trip.

AK plans look great. I always think AK is the hottest park, too. We usually snack on the frozen strawberry bars to help cool us off. PFT and MJT will definitely be fun for the girls plus I think alot of the two trails are in the shade.

It's tough to be a bug is fun but you might want to be careful with Emily. I remember my youngest son when he was 3 1/2 it scared him and we had to leave the theater. I think because it is dark and all the sensory stuff.

The parade really is cute seeing all the characters is safari attire.

I like the split day idea. I am interested to see how that works out. We did the exploration trails on our first trip to AK and the boys really loved them. It really made the animals so much more accessible than they were in the safari. Remember, you really need to arrive 30 minutes early for the Nemo show. I forgot to account for that in August and got there 10 minutes before the show only to find them turning people away. I was so bummed. We had seen it in Jan and it was one of Doug's favorite parts of the trip.

I should have time to post more plans here too-- EPCOT coming up soon!

Oh but think about a relaxing week..........that's a good thing too!

I am not sure when I relaxed with these three kids--- no it will be nice to not have to go to work at all! Plus we have testing the second week back...so I have a lot to do in five half days!

Just remember we have a whole week to do laundry!!!

I have so much... and did not start it today. I have not done any (but Luke's) since Sunday!

Yes you do and I had to get mine started last night and am finishing it this morning........

But looking on the bright side only 35 school days left of the year. :thumbsup2

We have more than that...booo!

30 for us!!!
Boo!!!!

Lucky you! I wish it were next week.......:rotfl2:

Me too! I want summer!

GREAT update Laura! I loved all your pictures from the Animal Kingdom! I can't believe that Emily is big enough to fit into Hannah's t-shirts!! Yay for Spring Break!! Enjoy it, I hope you have some nice weather! Our break starts on Good Friday!! Did you figure out a gift for Father's Day?:goodvibes

Our weather is going bad later this week. I was trying to browse and at least look for a WDW shirt for DH online. Then I realized I can probably find something there too.

Enjoy your break!

We went to two Easter Egg Hunts today... super fun!

I will post... along with few others... I am a bit behind!

You are in big trouble with the laundry. :)

How were the hunts? We aren't going to one until next Saturday. Have you visited the Easter Bunny yet?

My laundry room is too small. I barely made a dent in the laundry today... and tomorrow I doubt I will get it done! Dr Appt, Swim lessons, Dentist and egg decorating!

The hunts were fun! The Easter Bunny was at both. Luke had no interest, and I was going to do a pic with him at the second hunt, but he was napping at home- so no pic-

Emily hates him... no way was she getting in a pic!

Hope you had a lovely second day of spring break -- I did laundry today and thought of you...

I will be doing it for days now!

I don't know if I'd have been able to get any pictures anyway since I was working one of the games.

So I called Disney today to apply some Disney gift cards (I was a bit worried that I could not use them to pay for the trip so I just bought a little). When I was calling the lady reviewed our trip.... and she did not have our hoppers. And looking at our total, I guess it was never applied. I checked old emails and cannot find it either. My parents trip does however have hoppers. So now I have our new total and will be ordering the gift card to cover that.

BTW it snowed here ... no accumulation but yuck!

So this is the letter that is being left by the Easter Bunny:

Dear Hannah and Emily,

Happy Easter! I hope that you enjoy your special baskets. I hear that you are going to Walt Disney World this summer! It will be here before you know it. I hope you enjoy the special treats I have placed in the Easter Eggs at your house. Hannah make sure you only collect pink and yellow eggs. Emily you need to look for the purple and blue eggs! Have fun and be good girls!

Love,
The Easter Bunny!

They will then both collect their Disney dollars to go along with their gift card in their basket.

Friday, June 19th EPCOT!

This used to be the park I wanted to skip, but it has grown into a favorite park of my family. The past two years we have gone 12+ hours at this park, with no breaks...9-9. I don't think we will be doing that this trip, but I still hope we have lots of time to explore all that EPCOT has to offer.

We will again hit rope drop!

With that in mind, here is what I would like to accomplish:
Character Connection- this picture says it all:

Even if we don't get a picture like this we love to see the gang!
http://i195.photobucket.com/albums/z305/iluvxu/101_0315-2.jpg

Spaceship Earth- both girls talk about this ride from last summer. Plus being newly redone my parents want to check it out!

Test Track- Hannah has never done this. It has been a few years since I have gotten to ride it either so this year I am going to make sure she rides it. She is a bit nervous because the que is so loud.

Journey into Imagination- the girls both love this pavillion!

Land Pavillion, Soarin is my favorite ride at EPCOT and in the top 2 or 3 in all of WDW! It is also the ride that my parents talk most about wanting to do. Luckily DH does not like it.... so he can stay with Luke/Emily. We also do the boatride- it is a big hit with my kids.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends- we still can't pass up the Nemo ride and enjoy Turtle Talk with Crush. My parents have not seen this pavillion since it was updated.

As for World Showcase....we like to make the masks at each country. I am considering a passport for Hannah-- you can buy those there???

We also love Gran Fiesta boatride in Mexico. I lost track of the number of rides the girls did last summer on this.

The American Adventure- I know that my parents and Doug want to do this... I will probably be entertaining kids.

Other misc stuff-

The fountains- we don't miss the opportunity to cool down!

The characters- we have always had fantastic luck seeing the characters around World Showcase. I hope we can catch Mulan this trip!

We will be dining at the Coral Reef this night for dinner.
I hope we can have lunch in the WS at a CS... I bet that my dh and dad will be at the Liberty Inn... but I want a taste of the world... and a drink from one of the countries too!
I am not sure when we will break this day... or perhaps we will last all day and leave immediately following dinner (doubtful). Not really set on this plan. We have a dinner at LeCellier planned later that trip, so we will return to EPCOT for a second day.

Here are some of the favorite EPCOT pics:

Cutting Emily's hair is a disaster... it is getting thicker but wild. I am trying to just keep it looking trimmed and short on purpose. Also I don't want bangs, so the front is unruly. Plus she is protesting having anyone help with anything... including her hair!

So today we took a rode trip to Indianapolis to the Children's Museum. It was tons of fun.... but work! My mom went with me and my sister in law and her mom joined for extra hands help. We sure needed it... thankful we will outnumber my kids at WDW! Plus the had a hard time two hours in the car.... I cannot imagine a drive to FL!

I really like the pic of your DH and DD walking toward the castle, I need to remember to get a few pics like this! too cute :cutie:

I like your plans for AK & Epcot, we did not think we would like Epcot as much as we do. MK & Epcot are our two favorites with DHS and AK coming in next.

I really like your plans. We are driving from Indiana to WDW also this year. In fact, I live about 25 minutes from the Indianapolis Childrens Museum and have been to Kings Island and Great Wolf Lodge in Ohio.

We are calling our driving our adventure.

Can't wait to hear more.

So Monday we will be starting our countdown calendar- yea! We will be at 64 days! I can hardly believe it... it is actually going quick.

So after a week off... some thoughts I had:

I have to get our shirts made (we are doing a few iron ons)-- I hope to work on them this week or next

My sister in law is working on a project for the girls too... she is far more talented than me!

I need to finish paying off the trip... just waiting for gift cards

I need to check Disney visa points and gather $$ for the stroller rental

Double check our ADRs and Magical Express information

Buy an organizer for papers... and update my little tour book

I have started to take a look at the kids clothing. I feel pretty confident the kids have plenty of essentials.... yea!

I need to check my own clothing situation too!

I must admit I am proud I have not switched a single ADR or had true resort envy....we will see if I can make it another two months!

So our calendar is pretty simple.... Paint Chip heads , eight rows of eight, or 8x8 or an array. (teacher in me). I wanted to do a chart with rows of seven, but a standard posterboard did not fit enough days (we were ready to start the countdown and had lots of things to write-- see next).... so 64 it is for our start day (it is an accident that it started the first day after spring break)

So we took our maps and listed out all the stuff we want to do at WDW. Then I wrote them all down on blank address labels. Then the girls attached the labels to the backs of the Mickey heads (warning we covered writing--- the backs were not blank, therefore the labels had to be used). Then they helped me to lay out the heads and tape them down.

Now Hannah reads (with some help) the back as we take off each day. Then she writes it in her notebook (a cute princess book she got for Easter) organized by parks. I love her getting her writing anytime I can.

Today's Thing we are looking forward to is.... swimming at the hotel

Did ya ever get to that laundry pile ??!! :rotfl: I have one now... after traveling for 10 days, the mound that was there before I left (folded) is being worn, and the pile I just made is getting folded this weekend!!!

The girls love Spectro... I do too. My parents are not big parade people, but I think watching the girls experience things they will like different things too.

We actually saw Spectro twice, both MK nights. The first night we staked out early and had a great spot. Then the second night we got a spot towards the last minute and got some yummy cold treats to enjoy. I hope we see it twice this trip...

I love the Mickey bars... especially poolside where the drips and mess don't matter as much!

Mickey Bars -- shhh, but we haven't had those yet. :scared:

I should be taking notes -- you have already mentioned two things that I want to try now. ;)

JACKIE.... it is okay. :rotfl2:You have tried lots of yummy things I have not! I think unless you try these you think they are like every other ice cream bar dipped in chocolate. However I truly believe these are the best! Glad I can add to your planning fun!

I had been taking some major flack in DIS chat for never having tried a Mickey Bar. I had one last month. I can totally understand why you guys are looking forward to them. They are wonderful!:goodvibes

They just taste better... like many disney foods!

Mickey bars are definitely not the same as other ice cream bars. The chocolate is very chocolatey (made up, or real word?) and it is thicker than on other bars. That is the reality part that makes them different. The magical part is that you are eating them in Disney World. :goodvibes

If CP doesn't get a Mickey bar this time, we will probably be forced to dock her a few DIS points. She has had ample time to get this done, don't you think? ;)

Personally, I'm pulling for you not to lose points, CP, but I must say that those strawberry bars are super scrump-dilly-icious (real word, or made up?), too, so we'll have to be understanding if you go for one of those.

Oh, and don't forget frozen lemonades!

I hope you have a healthy Disney appetite. You're going to have a lot of ground to cover in the frozen treats department.

I'll take a box! ANYTHING in Disney tastes better. Too bad the calories couldn't "magically" disappear once you left the Magic Kingdom!

So exciting to have your trip all finalized! I bet you are super excited to get your final Mickey Mail!!!! We just got our maps that I ordered online Too FUN! I had to hide them!

You might have a list of spoilers that you have to answer for me... before we leave since there is a few days between our trips!

The Jungle cruise cracks me up since my silly girls last year still thought the animals were real, well especially Emily! I think I rode it record times last year with her....

You are not mean, if I could keep the goodies out of my girl's hands I would. That particular picture is funny to me because Emily had a major meltdown since she wanted one then too, and my DH thought I was crazy for getting just one. I have a bad feeling Luke will be the one freaking out this summer... unfortunately he senses those ice cream treats and grabs and attacks.... I am doomed!

Magic Kingdom

For me that is Disney World. Up until that point I am having a great vacation, but there I am in a magical place unlike any other. I think that our Breakfast at O'Hana's is really my ploy to at least see the Castle before Saturday, our third park day!

MK is somewhat stressing me out in terms of planning. We have three mornings, two nights planned there. Our ADR for this day is Chef Mickey's for dinner.

There are four things on my must do list for this day:

1) Meet the Fairies-- I feel that if we can get this done the first MK day I will be much less stressed out. I know that my girls would love it, my sister in law has some fantastic pictures and I have loved many that I have seen on here too. Then once this is done no worries or planning how to get there.... so I want to knock it off the first day, right away!

2) Fantasyland- including Dumbo, Peter Pan, It's a Small World, Mickey's Philharmagic, Winnie the Pooh and Snow White. I think we are going to let Emily go on Snow White, I hope she is ready.

3) Fantasmic-- I never like to put it off in case of weather issues. We hopefully can see it this first night, and if we catch it again later it is an extra added bonus.

4) Splash Mountain--- this is my favorite WDW ride ( I struggled terribly to pick my top five on FB) and I so missed riding it last year. I cannot wait to go back to the Laughin' Place!

I am truly honest that if I can accomplish these three things for that first MK day I will be thrilled. By all means I hope to do more, but knocking this out would make day two and three fantastic!

My next MK day I will share more of the things that we hope to do!

Here are some favorite MK pics of years past

I finally caught up!!! It's amazing what you miss when you're away for a while. Your plans look great, and I think you'll all have a great time. I love the idea for the calendar - mind if I steal that for our trip next summer??? :)
I also can't wait to meet the fairies - DD will be almost nine then, though. I'm worried that I'm quickly running out of the little girl phase. But there's no way to fit a trip in this year, so I'm going to have to deal with it. Everyone says she's a carbon copy of me, and I still liked things like that until way after I probably should have, so I hope the "carbon copy" thing holds out.

I laughed when I heard about your Children's Museum trip. We were there a week before you to check out the Clone Wars exhibit - talk about crazy!!! Going during spring break is nuts. I agree that the more adults, the better. When the baby isn't happy sitting in the stroller anymore, we'll be in trouble. The great thing about being 20 minutes away and being season passholders is that we're able to go for two hours and then come home, knowing that we can see things again. Though, I'd give it up if we could trade them for APs at Disney...:rotfl:

Of all the magical moments I think we have experienced at WDW the past two trips: Dream FPs at MK, our great EPCOT Character Connection Photo, opening ToonTown with Minnie, being a pilot on the Monorail, and being a Co-pliot on Dumbo... Mary Poppins and Hannah is my favorite too! She was just too super sweet and perfect in everyway!

Wouldn't it be great to do that again?

I would be happy with a touch of Pixie Dust, but just being there is that!

Will you use either of your names as a middle name? Jill gave her middle name, Marie, to Bella. I liked that.

Nemo is Brooklynn's absolute favorite at Epcot, and one of her top five of all. She loves Nemo. When I went in March, I brought her back (for her Easter present) a Nemo bucket, the Nemo Musical CD, and a Nemo purse. She loves singing Big Blue World.

Luke was my only easy name. I loved it the first pregnancy- I had a student named Luke that I adored....it just took three babies. But it was weird for me to call him that before he came, since we never knew what we were having before. Hannah was the hours before decided (it was my choice and DH felt terrible for me) and Emily was DH's name the day of (I was sure it was a boy so I agreed)

I love Nemo- both the ride and the show! My little guy is hooked on the movie so I can't wait to take him to these things. Have you done Turtle Talk with Crush? Does it keep their attention good?

Hannah has enjoyed Crush.... Emily is getting there. I think she will this year.

You better get this sweet little Mopette a name! :cutie:
Will you use either of your names as a middle name? Jill gave her middle name, Marie, to Bella. I liked that.

Nemo is Brooklynn's absolute favorite at Epcot, and one of her top five of all. She loves Nemo. When I went in March, I brought her back (for her Easter present) a Nemo bucket, the Nemo Musical CD, and a Nemo purse. She loves singing Big Blue World.

Isn't it fun to talk to the girls about what they're going to be doing very soon?!?!? I'm excited, and I'm not even going on your trip. :upsidedow

You should have a Nemo party with them this weekend!

I sing Big Blue World a lot when I think of Nemo or that ride... it stuck in my head last trip. Emily and I were talking about it last night...she says the sharks are what scares her on that ride. She is a funny one, that Em.

I am thinking about having a party- maybe at one month out. Go find some Disney treats to eat, (we have tons of princess plates from birthdays and COSTCO sold a set last year). If I do I will take pics... maybe use Jackie's sundaes and some of the fun things I have seen at your parties....

Today.... 56 days till Disney we are looking forward to riding Snow White's Scary Adventure.

Since I don't have ride pics.... Snow White will do right?

Hannah is a big fan, and Em is super brave (any kid who takes shots like she does and is not afraid of surgery should handle it right?)

BTW... she is still afraid of characters. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw Dora at Kings Island this weekend. I thought she would be done with that.... so we will see if she warms to Mickey and friends this trip.

I've debated the Snow White ride. Not too scary for your girls? Maybe we'll give it a shot.

As usual such cute pictures!! That is funny that Em smiles no problem but Hannah doesn't! It is the opposite in my house, the oldest is fine the youngest well.......not so much! Off topic but I am stressing over my MK plans because of Space being closed! I am not sure if we should do Frontierland 1st or still do tomorrowland?:confused3

June 16th!

I've debated the Snow White ride. Not too scary for your girls? Maybe we'll give it a shot.

Hannah has no fear of it, she loves it because it is her favorite princess. If Emily wants to do it I will certainly give it a try. I will just remind her how Snow White ends... that is what we did the first time with Hannah.

Em liked the face characters last year, right? Hopefully she will enjoy meeting Mickey and the gang!

It took her a day or two. By the end she was fine, except with Goofy---he is tall and big to her.

As usual such cute pictures!! That is funny that Em smiles no problem but Hannah doesn't! It is the opposite in my house, the oldest is fine the youngest well.......not so much! Emily is always good for pics.... sometimes I feel bad because I sort for good ones of Hannah and sacrifice the best Emily pictures in the process.

That is tough Diane. We don't go to those first, but we have little ones. I think I would just do one first one morning, the other the second day.... you have lots of days to get things done!

The Crystal Palace.

I missed eating there last trip, and this time we are trying a before the park opens breakfast! We have never had breakfast there, I sure like dinner but the idea of being on an empty Main Street has me wanting to give it a try!

Today I also did a bit of planning. I bought a journal to write down the trip report notes, an organizer for paperwork and Disney info, and decided not to make shirts (at least I think so) but rather the girls are going to have something else made-- dresses! My sister in law is making Tink dresses for both, and then an Ariel for Emily and a princess for Hannah. She tried them out tonight, and they were super cute. This is such a treat... she found some smocked fabric at JoAnn's and called me... I said of course I would love dresses! Pretty dresses and hair bows... what lucky girls they are to have an aunt that is talented!

CP is our favorite for breakfast. The food is really good and it doesn't hurt that you walk down an almost empty Main Street to get there.

So lucky to get dresses made!! I wish I could sew.

We had out first day dinner at Crystal Palace last year, and we'll be doing the same again this year. The food and character interaction were both great!

The dresses will be great for the girls! I look forward to seeing them in pictures.

I hope you are better at keeping up with your journal than I ever am. I always have good intentions, and I get off to a decent start, but I fail to keep up with it. I take times here and there to write, but in the end, I use my pictures to spark my memory for the most part. I know I miss a lot of details by not keeping up with the writing.

Oh Laura, you will LOVE the Crystal Palace breakfast...the food is pretty good but there is something SO magical about walking into the MK and down Main Strret without a herd around you! Just remember to soak it all in and take lots of pictures!!:goodvibes
