Best Valie Studio AKV?

Hello,

I have never stayed at AKV, and am planning to stay in a value studio at AKV for part of our trip. I have been reading that there are only value studios in Jambo am I correct? Also, that the value studios in Jambo have 2 sinks? Well, my last question is, for any of you that know AKV well: I have heard that there is a laundry for DVC members on the 5th floor of Zebra... that said, which room would you request if it was you and why please:) I hear some rooms have an extra closet, better views ect. Thank you!!!:beach:

loved the swimming pool view - close to bus stop, restuarants, gift shop (both down he elevators or steps)

it was not too bad to the laundry mat.

the laundry mat is near room 5408 (studio, standard view, pool) -

but think you can find it pretty easy.

I just came back from staying in a value studio. Yes, there are only values at Jambo house. Laundry is easy to find and use. Our room number was 5132, we had a savanha view, not far from the lobby. Not alot of animals, but better then the parking lot. Some construction noise, but that will probably be done by the time you go. Yes, they have two sinks. We didn't have a closet, just an amoure. The big problem we had, is when you pull out the bed, no place to put all the cushions and pillows.

Thank you for the replies :) Oh, I was wondering then, if the laundry was accessible from anywhere in Jambo house? ..Do you have to make a special request to get a better view with a value studio..or wait and see what happens? Thanks :goodvibes

We had a value studio, overlooking the pool and the first room off the elevator. When you took the elevator to the main floor and went down the hall away from the lobby there was an exterior door and you were at the bus stop. A perfect location. We could see some animals just beyond the pool from our room but enjoyed walking around and seeing all the other viewing areas.

You needed your room card to access the laundry room.

so you can ask - but definitely no guaranteeds.
