Trip Insurance - Tell me Your Experience

I am going to buy trip insurance, and want to purchase it before my final payment (due June 4).

I was hoping I could get your feedback on your experience with certain companies. Who covers more, etc.

Ok, I did some searching and found this website

It lets you fill in your dates and howmuch your trip costs, and number of people, then it compares different insurance companies to eachother. It was so easy. You can also see which companies pay you first before waiting for your other insurance companies to pay (ie. homeownes, health etc.)

Hope it helps anyone out there. I am mostly concerned with my kids getting sick and having to cancel as opposed to a late plane (as we are flying out the day before). Our big expense is the cruise itself) They also can put auto insurance on for alot cheaper that the Car rental place charge (if you need it) we use our own car insurance.

On our first cruise I bought the insurance. When we went to pick up our bags after the cruise one was missing. This led to 2 claims. 1st delayed bag....if your bag is delayed more then 24 hours you are reimbursed for anything you needed to buy to replace what was in the bag. In our case this was shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes ect)The 2nd claim was for dammaged items. When we finally did get our bag back it was DRIPPING! Everything in it was smashed!!!This ruined everything in the bag.(some nice shoes, kids PJs, T-shirts we just bought as well as all the bathroom items)
The company we used was the one Disney has a flyer for. They asked for recipts (which I had, thank goodness) and paid fairly and promply.
We have opted no to buy the insurance this time. But if I was flying I would, just because a missed or delyed flight could put an end to your vacation!
