Whats the best way to get to..........????

I need some help with internal WDW transportation. What is the best way to get from:

A. The Magic Kingdom to the Disney/MGM Studios

B. The Animal Kingdom to the Magic Kingdom

Would it be better to ride to ride to a resort and then to the park or ride to the TTC and then to the park? Any help would be appreciated.

From the MK you can take the monorail to the TTC and then take the bus to MGM.

From the AK take a bus to the TTC and then take the monorail to the MK.
