On sale on Amazon right now, 53% off, Logitech Harmony 880. I've always wanted one, but didn't want to spend $300 bucks on a remote control...lol. It can control everything, from your TV to your XBox to your fan to your lights. I won't go into all the awesomeness of it, but I can't wait for it to get here!!

But it's come to the point where DW had to buy me a remote control holder for the living room, and it took like 3 remotes to turn everything on and off.

My new toy :)

Now I wonder if I can program it to get a beer from the fridge...lol

Jeez....you're a light-weight, Chris. We have FIVE remotes - and none of them are near the chair you're sitting in when you need it.

I have a Pronto that I bought years ago. I love it. I just upgraded my TV though and haven't uploaded the new codes to the remote yet. But these things are definitely worth it to reduce remote clutter.

http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo200/kc5grw/Misc/pronto-tsu2000.jpg

I would like to get one of the new one with the color displays, but this still does the job more than adequately.

We got the Harmony 880 also!! I LOVE the fact that you can program it on the computer!!
We got ours on eBay for about $85. It's a reconditioned unit, but we spent $10 on a warranty, and I'm really pleased with it!!

We used to have a Sony remote commander, and once programmed it worked great!! However, programming it was a major pain and took me hours.

And you know what the good book says...."Bad associations spoil usefull habits", and I'm sure some other book somewhere says "Guilty by association"...and I sincerely don't want any of the officials of these family friendly boards to mistakenly "lump" you guys in with the likes of me. I feel like I helped bring this group together in some small way...and I most definately don't wanna be responsible for tearing it apart. This group of people is a good thing...no,.....its a GREAT thing. People from all over the country, of every background...from all walks of life who have bonded in friendship (and foe-ship, but still part of the group) simply because a very small few were willing to bend a corner or two of a rule book and say "Its OK to have FRIENDS on the internet", and "Its OK to BE INTO virtual gatherings". I hate not being a bigger part of these boards lately, I miss you all so much....but again, my constant postings were really ruffling the feathers of ALOT of folks, and it was starting to show in the decline of new "regulars" joining in. What Im trying to say is that my NC17 humor was turning many potential FORT FIENDS away....and unfortunately, I can not change the way I am....god knows I've tried, but I just cant. Rog, we all miss you very much. We love your sense of humor, no matter how twisted or dark. In fact, some people love that best about you. You brought more to these boards than you realize. And you are missed more than you realize. Please don't stay away. And while we are on the subject of missing you, why haven't you been on chat? There is no filter there. You won't get in any trouble over there. So, basically, you have no excuse. Now, Auntie has been giving me some lessons in the butt-chewing-out department. Please don't make me reprimand you. So, to avoid your verbal beating, get your butt back on these boards and over on chat, young man! We love ya, Rog!:grouphug:

How practical!! Was that so you'd break the picture tube to give dad a good excuse to buy a TV with a remote? lol ;)

HEY!!! Vince is on with the incredible deal of the "Slap Chop" for only $19.95!! He even guarantees that I'm gonna love his nuts!!! Woo-hoo!!! If I act now, I can get the Graty for Cheese at no extra charge (well only the S&H).

Goodness Gracious!!!! I just heard the ad for the "Squishee Foot Massager" - by Dr. Scholl's! I just can't live without this product. So many applications - not just for your feet!!! If I act NOW, they will throw in the Pedi-Egg at no extra charge (well, just pay separate S&H). You're no "moran" if you go for the 2-4-1 deal!! That's good budgeting!! lol ;) But don't take my word for it! See it for yourself at....

Ok...in my absence I can see Ive missed ALOT of opportunities to light some bottle rockets.

as an immature ol'fart....Ive learned alot about people in my vast years. Those that claim they are SMART are usually STUPID, those that talk about their MONEY usually have NONE, those that brag about their WOMEN are usually ALONE, those that go on about their HUGENESS are usually comparable to a HAMPSTER, and those that claim to IGNORE are likely to be reading EVERY POST MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!

Those of you who THINK you are on IGNORE, best think again!!!!! who could EVER actually IGNORE you people????

wait, does that mean you don't look at ****ies all night long and you have partied with rock stars?

My hubby got this same model for fathers day and he loves his. We have all of our tv components programmed as well as the a/c unit and the lights in the family room. Now, if I can just get it to sync with the toilet seat, it would be fabulous! He even put a pic of the kids on the screen as a background
