The great thing about having multiples is that they come in handy for parties, or if you're entertaining more than four people for dinner. The family record is 16 people at 4 fondue pots at Christmas a few years ago.

Mmmmm, sounds amazing! My parents had one, and we always did the oil, and cooked our own meats with yummy sauces. We'll have to venture out and try more. We used it alot last summer with the chocolate and fresh fruits!

She's asking about fondue pots.

It depends on the situation, Rosie. If it's going to be cheese fondue for a party buffet sort of situation, I prefer the electric pot with the ceramic insert so that the temperature stays constant. For an intimate dinner with only four people and oil fondue (or just two ;) ), I like a sterno pot. If it's for broth fondue, it has to be the electric pot, because the sterno won't heat the broth to a high enough temperature to cook meat.

And for times when we "power fondue" and have 16 people all at once? :crowded: Yeah, then it's every pot we can lay our hands on, no matter which kind they are. :rotfl2:

I'm sorry, no. The ban extends to all string instruments including harps and guitars. We could however ask the goat to play the drums, clarinet, or trumpet. The second rate goat Rosie brought claims to only know the trumpet, however.
