View Full Version : Kitchen Sink = Meal?

Last year I special ordered a cake at Wolfgang Puck Cafe. The night we ate dinner there the CM did not charge us for the cake and counted it as 4 desserts on the DDP.
I was wondering if we could do that with the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream. Or, if not as a dessert, substitute it as full TS meals for DW and I.
We are considering switching to the DxDP and will likely have meals to spare, so we were thinking this might save us some OOP cash.

I doubt it since the kitchen sink is not dp eligible.

I've read of others who have asked to have the Kitchen Sink count as multiple desserts, and have never seen where it worked out for anyone.
Perhaps call a manager and ask ahead of time.

agree with PP, the Kitchen Sink is listed as an exclusion on the DDP. We have had no confirmed reports that i can recall with any exceptions
(B&C has had some funky reports, for example, no sharing with people on the DDP. saw that one a couple times, they tend to strictly enforce the guidelines as they perceive them)

Oh well, it's only $22.
Here's another question. How odd would it be to grab a couple passersby and ask them to share it with us? It's not likely that we could finish it, so we were thinking it would be a nice gesture to offer to share it with someone else.
How would you react if a stranger asked you if you wanted to partake in their kitchen sink? (free of charge of course).
DW and I tried giving away an extra LaNouba ticket last year and people looked at us like we had extra limbs.

It's a nice thought, but personally I wouldn't feel comfortable sharing ice cream with strangers. I'd be fine with going to a show and sitting next to strangers, but there is something about sharing ice cream that, for me, is a friends only activity (and very close friends).
You're sweet for thinking of offering though!!
