OK, so this is many years from now, but I would like to see ideas that some here come up with.
Do you think the parks will have a huge celebration in November of 2023? Should I book now for Nov. 18 of said year? Or maybe Dis meets at each park and in different cities that day?
These ideas started this past November because I decorated a cookie cake for Mickey's bday and my family thought I was nuts. I am told I take it too far. My thought was: There are olots of people like me! I have a normal job.... OK, I work at a TGI Friday's and wear a large Sorcerer Mickey hat- but kids love it. Anyway, I digress.
I know: Spaceship Earth decorated as a giant birthday present!! That is a joke. The castle cake was hideous.
Not really looking for rumors yet. I know we are all very creative. What do you think they should do?:wizard:

Wouldn't Mickey's anniversary be in 2028?
2023 would be the anniversary of Walt's start in the movie business I think. I remember in 1973 they called it the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney Productions.

I believe the company stopped celebrating Mickey's "birthday" a few years ago because kids started to worry that he would pass.

I believe they celebrate his "anniversary" in show buisness now.

The more important question would be, "will the world still be here" in 2028? :goodvibes

I am sure reservations for New Years Eve 1999 were made well in advance, but I wonder how far? Any ideas?

i'm with you! book now, what's the harm? you get to start your countdown early, and even if they do not do something "special" that year, you'll still get to go to disney world! once the time gets closer and you hear more about celebrations that might occur, you could always move your date around. :upsidedow have fun!

I believe the furthest out you can book is 500 days so you have some waiting to do :upsidedow
