Good afternoon!! I have risen from the deep depths of nesting to jump on the computer. :lmao: We went to the hospital yesterday for my NST, and the stupid thing should have taken us half an hour. but did it?? NOOOOOO... Stinky old babies. Took us three freaking hours!! :headache:
For those that dont know.. a NST, non-stress test, is when they strap all the sensors on to my belly.. Heart rate monitor for each baby, and a contraction monitor. They want to see if the babies heartrates are reactive to their movements, and monitor contractions.. WELL. My babies dont take kindly to being monitored. :lmao: They were flipping out. COMPLETELY! It was freaking hilarious. The poor nurse had to sit there holding the monitor on baby B, while Frelan came over and held the monitor on baby A. And all the while I was contracting. She called my Dr. to see what she should do, and the Dr. said to just let them go. Thank GOODNESS. I did NOT want another shot of terbutaline. That stuff blows.
Anyhow. Babies are still inside... SOON. So soon.. We were talking about how next weekend will probably be our last weekend without babies. :scared1: Kinda freaky!! I am so not ready.

Went to the Dollar Tree and another junk store here in town. Then went to Hi School Pharmacy. Another boring day at the Irwin's. I decided to wash the blankets on our bed. Bought a pretty spinning thing shaped like a flower at the Dollar Tree. Stuck it out in a pot on the back deck, just so I would have something colorful to look at outside.
Got a good deal on Frosted Flake go packs, Quaker cinnamon struesel multi grain cakes and banana bread oatmeal on the go bars...$1 for each big box.
Cussed out my sister's SIL yesterday on Facebook. Never met the gal, but she sent me a nasty note and so I sent one right back. Along with an FU at the end of it! Guess she got the point, she apologized to me...so I apologized right back. What a fruitcake!
Found a cute little pair of earrings at Hi School pharmacy for $4.
Geez, I live a super exciting life don't I?

Oh apparently you didn't realize I could multi-task...I have no problem being psychotic and psychic at the same time!:lmao:
Sure, pass the rum right on over! Although we have decided that I have an allergy to alcohol. I can drink one alcoholic drink and be ok, but I will start vomiting on the second one. It's bad, because I start getting sick before I even have a chance to get drunk!:lmao:

Is it me or do they seem to be closing many things at WDW? I know it's the slow season, but geesh I got a room for $49 and almost every day they announce something new on the DIS, this week is Boatwrights at POR is no longer serving breakfast. Actually when we stayed there that was the only meal that I ate there. Go figure!

Disneyland too , lots of closures and very little entertainment the week I'm going. Weekends longer hrs and more stuff to do. At least they willkeep up with the locals on weekends with all the deals (socal 2fer deal, pay per month for APs, military freebie offer... )
It's so different going on slow season and the park seems lonely with so few people. I guess iwill see how it is in a week from now... Woohoooooo!

He finds he does the best when he stays up for a while when he gets home.. Then gets up just a bit before work. It works more like a normal schedule for him. Most people get up, get ready.. Go to work.. Come home, relax a while, do whatever.. and go to bed.. You know?
We tried to switch him over when Alex started school.. But he coulnt do it. He would sleep for a few hours, and then be up for the rest of the day.. and be really tired at work.

My mom would have looked at me like I was crazy and said what do you need that for when we have a creek? Geesh, you mean the $3 plastic pool wasn't enough?:rotfl:
I'm kind of debating on what to do for spring break this year. Part of me would like to take the kids to Florida, but then again with Bruce maybe out of work again and the economy maybe not a great idea.
I could use my bosses airmiles and stay at my sisters house. But I know that the beckoning call of WDW would be too much of a temptation for me.:confused3 :rotfl:

Yeah, dh woked graveyards before we were married and that's what he used to do. He was swingshift this week. The only thing is it might work really well for him to come home and then go to sleep around 8am, we are all gone and out of the house by 7:30am. So it would be completely quiet for him to sleep. DD does come home for lunch, but she can be quiet and use the front door on the other end of the house. Then he could get up around 4pm when kids get home, have dinner with us and spend some time with us before work.
I don't know, guess he'll just have to figure it out! He still doesn't have a schedule beyond March 7th, so who knows what he'll be working, if at all.:confused3 :confused3

oh? are they using the old BBQ place in back... which I can't recall the name of right now.. it closed before our first visit. I read on various fan sites that it was very yummy! Such a waste of space to have it empty most of the year.
Most of the dining options suck at DL. I like simple food with a littel tang/zing to it.. instead they serve overly sauced and fried blaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh or way overpriced table service (that is mediocre for the most part)

From what I understand it will be back behind Big Thunder Mountain. We LOVE BBQ. There arent a whole lot of places inside the park that we really like. Cafe Orleans is okay.. We REALLY like the BB, but it is spendy.. Outside of the parks.. Storytellers.. YUM. They have a crazy good dinner buffet. I have heard it has gone downhill lately though. Jazz kitchen is really good too...

Didn't do too much this weekend. Had some freinds over to ride with DBF on Saturday. Sunday we went to Glen Helen to watch the races and then to Chaparral, a huge motorcycle shop, to get part for DBF's new bike. Good Morning Everyone,
Staley- I can't believe the babies are coming! I can just picture your DH running around your neighborhood with a bell and yelling like Paul Revere: "THE BABIES ARE COMING! THE BABIES ARE COMING!" :teeth: :rotfl:
It's supposed to rain today and then become sunny the rest of the week. Yesterday was so gloomy and depressing. I can't stand it when it's like that.
I didn't do anything exciting yesterday. My bf and I bought tickets to watch Coraline in 3D. We had about an hour to kill before the movie so we decided to grab some grub at Ruby's Diner. It took us 15 minutes to have a server pay attention to us, another 10 minutes to get drinks. By this time we were wondering if we were going to make the movie. When it was about 10 minutes before our movie started, I had my bf go to the customer service stand and ask for a refund or exchange it for a later time (the next movie didn't start until 2 hrs later). We ended up getting our food right when the movie started. :headache: It was just really slow service and our waitress didn't pay much attention to us. She kept wandering off to the back and other customers around us looked upset too (3 or 4 tables next to us waited a long time to get their check).
So we didn't get to see the movie. :sad2: We headed to Michael's Arts & Crafts where I got some scrapbook stuff. I need to try to stop by a local store after work so I could get more scrapbook paper ( I completely ran out last night). I'm almost finished with this album...just have a few more photos left.
Last night my bf and I couldn't make up our minds as to what to eat for dinner, so I got us El Pollo Loco. Yummy! :cutie: Great, now I'm hungry :rotfl:
Need to stop by the post office later. I hope the line isn't a disaster (crosses fingers). I sold a Juicy messenger bag on ebay. It didn't sell for as much as I'd like, but that's okay. More room in my closet.

See I scheduled my first baby and things worked out just fine. Due date was April 1 (yeah, I know April Fools Day - nobody would believe me!). Dr. scheduled a c-section a week ahead of time.
Stupid Dr. asked if I wanted to have the baby on Wednesday or Saturday? Yeah, right like I want to stay pregnant 3 days longer than I have to!!:rotfl2: And of course I know that DH likes to watch cartoons on Saturday morning, so didn't want to interfere with that (and yes I'm being totally serious). The told me to be at the hospital at 3pm to check in, the surgery would being at 5pm and baby would be born at 5:20pm. She was born at 5:20pm, right on schedule!:lmao:

Leave the house dirty, it gives the grandma(s) something to do when they come for a week to take over your life.:rotfl2: :thumbsup2
I'll never forget my MIL cleaning our master bath and telling me that she had scrubbed the floors because they were a bit dirty. Then my mother came the following week and informed me that she had scrubbed the floors because they were a bit dirty. WTH!! My floors were just fine.:lmao: You know, I'm thinking maybe I should have another baby, free floor cleaning!:woohoo:

The cool thing about t he Enfamil ones, you can use it on ready to feed too.. makes for almost free formula to have on hand (target and CVS have had sales for $5.50 each recently). :thumbsup2

Yeah.. right. No one is coming to clean my floors! Frelans mom might stop by to see them.. and my mom is staying at a hotel with Alex and Mikalah while I am in the hospital. After I get out of the hospital, its back to the normal schedule.

His parents used to be foster parents and they had over 50 newborn babies. She would get new ones that were anywhere from just a few days old to a couple of weeks old and would be their mama while their adoption papers were being finalized.
We seen an ad once for a baby rocker at the hospital, someone to rock and hold the premie babies. I told him that would be his dream job. He loves nothing better than to sit and rock and hold babies...but then of course they both fall asleep.:lmao:

I haven't done any CVS or Walgreen's deals for ummm a year? Target is easier, one stop shopping. Hubby uses less meds now, less trips to the pharamacy.

I always find myself having to argue on the "any" coupons. The other day I had some good for $1 off ANY Emerald product. So naturally I used them for the sesame stick snack mix that was on sale for $1.33. The cashier kept saying they can only be used on NUTS, these aren't nuts! But it clearly said Emerald in big letters on the front of the package. But she says, the coupon shows a can of NUTS. But I insisted it says ANY and the word ANY overrides the picture on the coupon. I think she got tired of arguing and rang the coupon in.:thumbsup2

Good Afternoon,
Wow, our thread is so quiet! I hope everyone is doing well. :goodvibes I have been running around after work. My parents are on a business trip so I've been waking up early to go pick up my little sister and take her to school and also take her to her after school activities. :faint: When I do have some free time, I'm working on my scrapbook. I'm almost finished but needed more scrapbook paper and stickers.
During my lunch break I went to a local scrapbook store. I found some old stamp cards that I had from 2-3 years ago. I asked the sales clerk if I could combine them and her eyes bugged out and and she said: "OMG, I think you hold the record for the most stamp cards!" :rotfl: What's cool is that I get $15 off my next purchase. :yay: I think I should use it towards a new scrapbook album (I still need to upload and develop the pics from my overseas trip from 2 years ago). :sad2: I bought some paper and some cute embellishment stickers. They also had a cool silver pen so I could write on the pages of the album I'm making.
My brother came back last weekend and he said: "Did you lose weight? I can tell. Keep it up!: :cheer2:

She said (and I don't remember this) that we used to have little debates. For some reason she remembered that we had a little argument going on about the best age to have a baby. I said that 27 was the perfect age to have a baby and if I ever had a child it would be when I was 27. Then she asked what age I was when I had my first...."UH, 27"!!!:scared1: How freaky is that?

I told you that you will have them on March 2nd. I've very good at scheduling things you know.
No can do.. March 2nd isnt good for us, it is Green Eggs and ham day at school.
I started chatting on Facebook with a girl that I went to school with. She was talking about how we always used to talk in US History.
:lmao: Neat!

Jazzy will grow up to be a nurse. She will have long curly hair and will have a beautiful smile and bubbly personality.
Vinny will be a musician (probably jazz). He will be a very quiet, extremely intelligent man.

Jazzy will enjoy gardening and nature. She will care very much about the environment.
Vinny will enjoy anything having to do with electronics. He will not be as outgoing as Jazzy, but will always be surrounded by his very loyal best friends.

Good morning ladies! While you are all nestled tight in your beds, it's 11 am here and I'm fighting with people on the internet! :rotfl:
It irritates me so much that people can not have differing opinions without someone ridiculing the other. I don't know why I involve myself sometimes. There is the angelina jolie thread right now, where some people say she's attractive and some people say she's not. Well apparently the people who think she's not are all just jealous. So now they're fighting over that.
And then I posted to cutting line thread on the dl boards, oops I should have avoided that one. I made a comment how I joined my sister in line by ducking under a bar on Toy Story. There was literally a handful of people in between us but the lines are so narrow she couldn't get back to us or us to her and then at one point we were right beside eachother so I ducked under a joined her. Then this person on the disboards says "I'm unclear are you admitting you were rude?" Uh..duh, as I just admitted. She's not unclear but says she is so it makes her appear innocent. They're trying to pick fights and it's driving me crazy!
Okay, I'm done. Yesterday I went to a movie all by myself. First time I have ever done that I really enjoyed it. But then when the movie was over I had nobody to discuss it with. Have any of you seen He's just not into you?

I want a ga-nana. He dont have any bananas!! We took her to the store just so she could get some. AND bought her a chocolate bar. :lmao: I am feeling really crampy today. I am going to clean the bathroom I think. Maybe I will scrub the floor. :lmao:

Sooo.. Since you all Know our good news now.. here is our bad news. Well.. not BAD, just not good. Frelan had a big meeting at work this morning.. No pay raises this year, which we expected.. They are continuing on 32 hour work weeks until June. Then they go up to 40 hour work weeks.. But JUST for June. They are getting a full week off for the 4th of July. Only one day paid. BUT, we will get unemployment for the rest of the week. Then after the 4th of July they will reevaluate the situation. If things still suck, which they will.. We go on to 32 hour weeks for the rest of the year, and unpaid time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years. Pretty much what we were expecting. BUT.. We are thankful that he works for a company that is doing what it can NOT to lay people off. So he still has a job. Which is what really matters.

Your DH will continue on in his teaching career for sometime. In the next few years (5 or so) you will be buying your own home. I'm not sensing a lot of world travel, but some travel.

Sounds about right.. except for the DIL.. I really hope to like/love whoever my boys add to our family. I remember feeling like such an outsider with my inlaws, MIL really didn't accept me as a member of a family until many years later, I hope any new additons will feel welcome and loved.
WDW trip? sure why not?! :goodvibes
hmm, 5 years sounds about right for a house. We're thinking of a condo in the city, prefer not to have exterior/yard upkeep plus since to will be our 'forever home" we want it to be a single level and adaptable to the physically challenged.
I also looked into Habitat for Humanity, we are right within their guidelines. It's not a free house, you pay 0% interest loan, no more than 30% of income, plus sweat equity. You need a certain income to qualify, tops out at certain income points based on family size. (Hey Staley.. check it out for your area!)
Yeah, world travel likely not.. but here and there sounds perfect!
of course cat biting, coupon clipping and lime lovin crocs will always be part of me.. it's who I am of course. :rotfl:
So I joined a group on Facebook called "I don't care how comfortable Crocs are, you look like a dumb____".:lmao:

ahhhh, but so dang comfy! I have winter crocs that are great for our snowy weather. But I really need some dress shoes!! Hard to dance in crocs
I may wear socks with the regular Crocs. :confused3
I prefer to wear socks with mine. We have high humidity in summer, sweaty slippery feet in crocs does not feel good.. I got sunburned (in pretty mouse head shapes) and rubbed raw on the ankles. :guilty:
Last year low humidity and warm.. no problem with bare feet in crocs on occasion.

That's good! Good to see they are keeping jobs.
Hubby had happy news today, in passing he asked the principal what are the steps he needs to do in regards to next year. In his district they lay off everyone, if you have tenure you can have your positon back next year. If not tenured, someone can bid on your job and get it if they have more experience (and the principal allows the change to occur).
Prinicipal told him today-- don't worry about next year. Let the district do "their thing" with the layoff, but she wants him back next year and will do whatever it takes to ensure he WILL return! :woohoo: :woohoo: :cool1: :cool1: :goodvibes :goodvibes

At this point, it really has no effect-- give more money to schools, have a national health plan in place, change Medicare in a way that will screw us over.. then I will listen. Blue sky is still blue sky until it's on paper and signed on the dotted line.

But it has affected you already. Due to the economy my DH lost his job and now has a job with wacko hours. So this week I am staying up until 10pm so I can wake him up for work. As a result you have someone to talk to on the DIS. If the economy does better he will continue working and I will continue chatting.:thumbsup2

DS had a bit of a cough and sore throat last night. So he stayed home from school today. Seems to be feeling better today and fever is gone. So hopefully he will be back at school tomorrow. Poor little guy, every time he gets a cold it seems to settle in his chest and throat area.

ohhh bummer.
My house has manged to avoid the sicklies, N did have ear problems with no fever. But other than that.. it's been a good year.
Sis on the other hand, has one or more kids home every week being sickly this winter. For awhile there she considered taking lil guy out of special ed preschool because he got sick over and over and then wouldn't eat!

He was supposed to go to sleep at 2pm today and then I would wake him up at 10pm. But apparently between the 2 kids, 2 dogs, 3 cats and 5 telephone calls he only got about 1 hour of sleep. So he went to sleep after dinner. I guess 4 hours of sleep is better than nothing.

I think we've been pretty lucky this year. DS was sick one other day, but that was it. So far everyone else has been healthy. There have been lots of flu like bugs going around here. Some of the schools have had nearly half the kids gone on some days.

Working nights is crappy until you establish a routine.
I would go crazy waiting waiting waiting until I could wake up hubby. Many times woke him much too early, but I missed him terribly.
I only worked one night shift as an LPN, it wasn't my "thing" -- kinda boring shift at a nursing home and then it was hard to sleep with lil ones in the house.
I've been thinking of going back to school in the fall. One of the programs I looked at is to be a sleep tech (it is actually a really long fancier title that escapes me right now), however since it is sleep that is being evaled.. it means working nights. Job posting I read was work full time at 3 nights per week (12 hr shifts?), that I might like. 3 miserable days of trying to sleep and that's it :thumbsup2

Hi ladies, Albort and Grumpy if you per chance read this.
I am sitting in a hotel room in Eugene Oregon. Tomorrow, my Sister has her surgery for cevical and uteran cancer.
Her spirits are really good, and feels that they will be able to get it all out. I hope and pray that that is the case.
Friday Dave and I leave and go to see my other sister in Bend. Her DH had an colonostomy last week, and they perferated it. So he had to go back in for emergency surgery and had part of his colon taken out. So instead of that sister being here in Eugene with us, she is taking care of her DH. I tells ya.............When it rains it pours.
I don't think Megan has had those babies?
I hope all is well.
Bernice, are you coming to the pizza party?

I've worked swing shift before and don't have a problem with that, but I'm sure I could never work graveyard. My best sleeping hours are about midnight to 4am. So what do you do on the sleep tech job? Dip their hands in warm water and see if they pee? Plug their nose and see if they wake up? Tickle their face with a feather and see if they hit themselves? Draw a mustache on them with a marker? Guess you can see now I wouldn't make a very good sleep tech!:rotfl:

Hi Melody! Sending lots of prayers and hugs your sister and BIL's way. She has the right attitude and I'm sure things will go well. Sometimes the hardest part is waiting for test results after the surgery. But once she learns the results and meets with an oncologist to develop a game plan...then she will feel more in control.

No babies, she posted schedule for induction is on the 3rd.
I think I am passing on the pizza party. I might meet up with the group going to the 2:35 show of the Billy's.
My trip wasn't actually planned to be part of the ladies group, good air fare and hotel rates landed me in that week. Just need a break from the unending snow (more this week in forecast- ugh!) and cold.

They monitor EEG, breathing, heart rate to determine if the client needs CPAP. Some techs learn how to fit people with the CPAP masks and do direct patient teaching. Some of the same skill sets are used to do neuro monitoring in surgery ( that part I don't quite get.. unless it's brain surgery  I didn't like my surgery observation day as a student nurse..I'm sensitive to smells, smell of the cautery used is icky!)

And if I ever get married it's going to be at Disneyland and we don't have that kind of money right now so we're good.:rotfl:

But getting engaged does not necessarily mean you set a wedding date.:thumbsup2
My sis was engaged all thru college and four years more living together before they finally decided to have a wedding.. in our parent's backyard. :headache:
After hearing of the two families squabbling over wedding plans for what was to be a simple informal ceremony and a fun party to wish them well. I told my mom I planned to elope. Much easier, less expensive.
Unfortunately, my dad decided for me that I needed a wedding (before baby arrived), informal and simple.. but it would have been just fine with us to skip it and go to a JP at a later date.
Some day we will do the vow renewal thing; complete with the fancy dress, tux, dinner and dancing. We had thought of it for our 5th year... then it was our 10th anniversary... then it became our 15th anniversary.. here we are at 16 years ... like I said "some day"

Typical MN weather...
yesterday was beautiful sunny and 35 degrees. This morning grey and overcast skies in the 20's. We have ice and melted blobs of crusty snow.
Fast forward to noon, the snow begins to fall. Lightly at first, pretty white fluffyness.
Now 2 hrs later, the snow is fast and furious with low visibility. Of course only the outlying areas closed schools, first ring suburbs and Mpls/ St Paul schools are in session.
I'm watching smaller cars skid and slide round the corners onto the side street. Our main road through here is a designated snow emergency route, lots of traffic .. but I haven't heard a plow yet this afternoon.
The forecast is for the snow to end at midnight. Expected 5 to 8 inches accumlation.. oh joy
Is it spring yet?? because we seem to have skipped that season all together here. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

My Sister's surgery came out great. They were able to get all the cancer out. No radiation or chemo it looks like!!! Thanks for you works of encouragement and prayers!

Hey you, being MIA for a two days and I was starting to wonder
That was Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House behind Obama.. hubby and I laughed as she kept standing up to clap at every statement. She paused on one of them.. and we laughed and said " do you think she's trying to decide if it's stand up worthy or not?" :rotfl:
You could see who were the Republicans and the Obama dislikers in the audience; stone faced, no clapping, no standing. Yeah whatever, you don't have to agree but you don't have to be rude either. But that's the games they play in D.C.
Hey I knew it was cheaper at Target :thumbsup2 Not always, but lots of times with sales they beat out the competitors here. There is a local magazine that is similar to Consumer Reports, in this case they compare local stores/ services. They did a comparison of groceries stores and Super Target .. conclusion was you would save more per year shopping at Super Target over the grocery store costs.
I thought it was funny that the Starkist tuna in packets (very good) was cheaper than the canned type, they had a display at the check out stands. It was cheaper by 38 cents than the lowest sale price at my local grocey store. I was bummed because I don't think I have any current coupons, just expireds.. darn they don't take those at Target.. booohooo.
I miss some of the perks of shopping at Albertson's last year, they took competitor coupons. That was fun to walk in with a bunch of Super Target printables and coupons clipped from the mexican groceries stores .. nailed a bunch of deals that way.
The cashier sneered at my savings..HMMPH :snooty:
She was just jeolous, you gotta learn how to work it lady ;)
Now if my local grocery store would have all the perks (expireds, competitor coupons/price matching, Internet printables, doubles on occasion, bulk bins, organic selection at moderate price, Starbuck's in lobby, home delivery -- including apt buildings... ) I would be a happy shopper and never go to a competitor. Dream on Bernice.. dream on... :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe a relative will get married?? Maybe you will get a new niece or nephew?? Geesh, you're getting a bit sensitive in your old age!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
(You know I'm Just Kidding)!! But who knows, now that you bring it up, maybe you will have a baby.:confused3 :rotfl:
I know.. huh? I dont get it, but what can you do? So far the only thing I have seen that affects us is the unemployment thing.
My mom was asking if I saw his speech the other day.. I TRIED.. But that lady sitting behind him just freaked me right out! She was WAY to excited!
Melody! What great news!!
No babies yet. We are sslllllloooooooowwwwwwwlllllyyyyyyy getting the house ready for them. By that I mean.. I am sitting on my fat butt yelling at dh because he just wants to play video game and we have a bunch of stuff to do!!:lmao: :lmao: Oh. And I found that TArget sells yogurt, and mac-n-cheese for WAY less then the grocery stores. WHO KNEW!
Oh I see you've become acquainted with Princess Pelosi!

Yesterday a lady called in on the radio. She said she was in the Disney Store buying something with her family and her DH asked the clerk if they had the Princess Pelosi doll. The clerk said let me check...she went over and talk with another lady (manager?), both of them looked a bit confused. But the clerk walked back over and said "We don't have them in yet, but if you check back in a few weeks we will probably have some".:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hubby had a flat yesterday, not a simple flat but the torn to shreds variety.
Today, 4 new tires and an oil change later.. we have one happy car, if only our bank account felt the same way.
Like I told E, it was suppose to happen now when we have the extra funds. Why fight it?
We strolled into Best Buy today. I've started relying on my Itouch to enter my food diary and to check calendar daily. Plus the games, email, internet. When we use the games and video options it sucks up the a battery charge. Thinking I will be very sad to have a dead Itouch on the flight home, I voted for an AC plug in charger for me to pack. We found one that you can charge two devices in one unit, it works great! :goodvibes
I have the teenagers overtaking the appt again ... at least our wifi works now and I can sit with my laptop in my bedroom-- I love technology.:thumbsup2

Hi guys,
Yes i know its been ages, but just had to say that I'm probably going to get another disney fix, via Paris :cool1:
Nice to see that you lot are still hanging out together, even if I had to find piles of 250 pages threads, before I found the open one.:rotfl:

Hiya Hyenas. Went to work for a bit today. Then took the kids to Olive Garden for dinner and out to see the movie Coraline.
Personally I would not recommend it for real young children. My 10yo was ok with it, but I wouldn't take say a 7yo to it. Thought it was very interesting due to the PNW tie in (Ashland, OR). But if you're not from the NW, I bet it would go unnoticed. Even my DD and her BFF were confused by the Shakespearean characters when they went into town. Once I explained that the packages belonging to Mr. B were showing an Ashland, OR address then it made more sense to them...but you had to look fast to see that. I liked the first part of the movie, but felt like they just sort of rushed the last part and made each piece of the ending very predictable. Especially when they mention something at the first, make a big deal out of it, then don't show it again...well that's a dead giveaway of what the ending will be.

Howdy, kids!
Just checking in real quick before we head to pick up DS8 from a birthday party. The birthday boy's mom invited just a few kids over, but they're all boys, so here's hoping we find her still standing when we get there. :rotfl:
Basketball season is winding down; we have two more games and then an awards lunch. Overlapping with that is baseball season, which begins next week... ACK! Today we dropped a bundle on clothing (pants, special breathable but warm shirts, cleats, and unmentionables with a cup) so here's hoping the boy has fun at it!
I can't believe it's March already, this year is just flying by at breakneck speed! And spring break is just around the corner, though with the baseball schedule I'm guessing we'll be staying home after all. Ah well...
Tinkermell, I am glad to hear such good news about your sister's surgery! I hope her recovery is speedy.
Megan, hope all is well with you and yours... It won't be long now. Tick, tick, tick... :)
Take care, and I'll try to check back again soon.

I'm all packed and anxiously waiting for morning to arrive :)
Plane leaves long before I usually wake up, even earlier than anyone in the house slams the snooze button.
At least we have a short commute with light traffic at that hour. Bleh :/

Ugh... I am definitely in the home stretch. I am NOT leaving my house again unless I have babies coming out of me. Seriously. It took me 20 minutes to walk up the stairs to the apartment.. and I cried the whole time. My HIPS! My Bladder!!! I think I pulled a muscle in my belly that goes down into my leg. :confused3 I dont know... But it hurts. Im not sleeping, which is making me extra crazy.. My poor husband.
Anyhow.. We went to Walmart and I bought a ton of formula.. The ready made cans of Enfamil, which cost me a whopping $1.50 each thanks to my lovely friends!! PLus two cans of Good Start.. for a whopping $.97 each!:cool1: So I have a little stock pile..
We are almost all packed for our busy week.. Just need our last minute stuff, and we are ready to go. My mom stopped by on her way to visit my grandma... with 5 cases of diapers!!:scared1: Holy mackerel! We were looking at them.. Where the heck do we put them??:lmao: Under the crib they went! I think we have enough for the first two months or so.. We have around 9 cases or so.. :thumbsup2
Oh.. and yesterday I was particularly unpleasant.. so Frelan had me take a nap.. I woke and found that he totally fixed up the crib for me! I have been meaning to do it, just hadnt gotten around to it yet. We are really ready now!

I've never been to either of those places. My mom and I are trying to decide where to go for dinner when we get there on Friday. Eat in Disneyland or maybe Downtown Disney...?
