We just got back from our first trip I tried the turkey leg but it truly looked like have and tasted like ham. Definatly not like turkey I know. I'm wondering if anyone eles has thought this??:rolleyes:

Ya, DH and I noticed the same thing. I think it is because it is smoked.

Yes, it definitely tastes like ham. Or maybe ham tastes like smoked turkey leg!

yeah, i think I am the only person who didn't care for this, I always see it as a favourite and tried it a few years ago, because I was feeling adventurous and sooooo many love it, but I'm not one, and my family laughed at me with my giant turkey leg!!

I didn't care for it much- my DH ate it but I don't think that he would have it again- and he LOVES to eat!

The last time I ate one was 11 years ago, so I can't remember the taste... but I don't like the idea of them! They seem very barbaric to me... very Flintstones! :lmao: I'll walk a little further and get another snack... I do like the big pickles you can buy a few steps away in Liberty Square. Mmm!

That was so me... I ate it but not a favorite. So much for my be daring day.

we have tried them 2 trips in a row. thought we got a bad 1 first time but second was no better!!!

B/c the turkey is smoked, it tastes like ham. I have had very good ones, but I have had not so good ones as well. I find that sometimes they are too dried out...find a cart w/ really fresh ones!

I always see them and think MMMMM but am scared to buy one and taste it hehe who knows mabey this next trip!

AFter always regretting not trying one, I did last trip....

Eh... it was okay, but I think I had built it up too much. They looked soooooo good.

Oh well, now I can say I've tried one!

Franken-turkey....what turkey have you ever seen with legs that big.....I had one....thought it was gross.......:crazy2:
