A few years back I broke my wrist and had to go to hospital to get my cast. I had no idea they had changed so much - gone were the chalky white monstrosities. These days they are lightweight and slimline - and you even get to pick your favourite colour as long as it's at least slightly neon.
Only problem with the lightweight part is, I could barely tell I had the cast on. Lost count of the number of times DH woke me up because I'd whacked him on the head with it - and this thing was lightweight but rock solid... :rotfl:

I do that all the time too but defo don't pretend to be asllep he gets the wrath of my tongue too :rotfl:

Years ago I elbowed my OH in the face when I was asleep (I was, honestly!) and knocked one of his teeth out. I denied all knowledge of it - until I saw the cut on my elbow that was exactly one-tooth-sized. Ooops!
