Grand Floridian - DVC ?

Anyone else heard that Grand Floridian going DVC ? Is it true ???:confused3

I'm sure it's one of several sites under consideration. But with no less than FIVE resort projects on the table (BLT, AKV, SSR Treehouse Villas, Grand Californian and Hawaii), I wouldn't count on it happening anytime soon. DVC is already committed to over a thousand unsold units over those destinations.

With three WDW based properties on that list, I'd put my money on DVC announcing a new off-site or Disneyland based DVC before another in Florida.

GF would be the only one I would be willing to give up my BWV for. I have 250 BWV (unfortunately in one contract), I would buy 125 GF and a BWV resale for 125 (or some combination depending on points chart), sell my current 250 BWV.

Might want to check and see if the notice was for the Grand CALIFORNIAN. DVC begins selling points for that Disneyland resort to a select group in less than 2 weeks.

Even if GF is next on DVC's list for Florida, they are years away from telling members anything about it.

I asked him the same thing and he said it's definitely not the the Grand Cali he's talking about.

I received a letter from my guide yesterday. It mentioned AKV Kidani, THV, BLT & "The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa" as coming up.

Add me to the list of those willing to buy a large amount of points at the Grand Floridian if they ever build DVC there. As you can see from my signature it is my DVC Dream resort.
