We are leaving in 13 days!!!! Just wondering about how much to budget for food. DH myself and two children. I would like to know about the prices in the food courts at the resorts. Can anyone help. We also have PS at the Crystal Palace and am planning on about $60. - $75. is that reasonable or will I be shocked. I think I may also try for dinner or lunch reservations at Cindy's any advice? Please help. THANKS!

The general rule I have heard is $50/day per person.
You can also look at menus and prices at wdwig.com (http://www.wdwig.com/menu/menus.htm)

I agree with WDW2002. I budget $150 per day for my family of 3, and we usually spend close to that. During cooler weather we spend more on food and during warmer weather we eat less but spend more on drinks.
We eat 1 sit down and 2 counter service meals per day. Eliminating the sit down for another counter service meal would save us $40-$50 per day. We spend about $70 for most sit down meals.

Welcome Julie!
I budget about $50 per person also per day. We usually keep breakfast foods and snacks in the room, eat our main meal during lunch hours, and then have snacks in the evening.
You should find some great tips on the Budget board or also on Disney tips board, both on this site.

Have you checked out the Restaurants board? They have some great info there. :)

We'll be at HRH and WL for a total of 8 days and I'm figuring around $1500.00 for 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 boys 13 and 11. We keep snacks in the room and hit the food court for breakfast. Usually one sit down per day then maybe back to the food court or counter service in the parks for a late day snack. DH and I usually stop for our "refreshments" on the way from the airport. Either ice it down in the sink or in a styrofoam cooler during the day for our "Happy Hour" later.
That figure also includes icecream, souveniers, etc. (We don't buy much in the way of souveniers.)
