If you are on the regular dining plan, it will cover an entree and dessert, plus a non-alcoholic beverage. No first course, no appetizer. You may order one as an entree if you wish, or pay extra for one.

If you are on the deluxe plan, that will cover one appetizer, one entree and one dessert, plus a non-alcoholic beverage. It appears any appetizer or first course may be ordered on the deluxe, with the exception of two sushi dishes: Yoshi's Deluxe Platter and the Snake in the Grass. These may be ordered only as entrees.

The regular (basic) dining plan works where you get an entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage. It has been reported that they can get an appetizer instead of an entree.

You can check out the 2009 DDP FAQ for more clarification on the different plans. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2054845

Thanks for the quick response....

that was what I was thinking... just figured that maybe since it was a double credit, maybe that was why... =)

thanks again.

Nope, double credit restaurants still don't include appetizers on the basic plan (except CRT which is a fixed menu meal)
