Running out of things to wonder about. Docs from DCL-direct ressies seem to arrive directly from DCL via FedEx, and ressies through AAA seem to arrive for pickup from local AAA office. How do docs from Costco ressies arrive?????

I requested that Costco send them directly to me. I received our docs over 1 month prior to our sail date. We leave on Thursday for the May 25 Western Magic. No problems with the docs at all.

I never requested how we got them either way.It was our first cruise, so I didn't know what to expect. We got them via FED-EX... Straight to our door. And we got ours quite a bit ahead of time, too if memory serves me well.

We booked with costco for the 6/22 Magic and got our docs straight from DCl by FedEX. We were one of the first DIS'er to get them for our cruise, based on posts on this board.

ps I know what you mean about running out of things to wonder about. I've been reading these boards for over a year and everyone is so great with answers to questions I didn't even know that I had.

Talk about timing....

Our docs for 6/27 JUST arrived this afternoon. They came via USPS from Costco Travel.

I guess they just want to keep us all guessing!!!!

Who cares how they got here.... they're here!!!!!!

hokie5cruiser, I know what you mean. This board rocks!!!! (can you tell we're excited?):bounce: :Pinkbounc

For Dec 22 Magic We reserved 8 rooms through Costco. They had the address of each family and were to send the docs directly to each. They sent them all to my 80 year old mother, following their policy of the time of mailing 2 weeks before cruise date. My mother did not get them until the week before we cruised. She had to send them out to all the family members and even though addressed correctly, some got rerouted through another city by accident (it was the week before Christmas). The docs arrived a day before we flew to FL.

Worse, included with our docs were the documents for a family in Bermuda. We called Costco many times before we got it straightened out. We shipped everything on to them by FEd Ex. Hope the docs got to them. It would have been close.

The week after we got back, we got the information on the shore excursions delivered by Fed Ex - info that should have arrived before the docs.

It appears that Costco has changed its policy on waiting to mail docs. Even so, our next trip is booked through Dreams Unlimited. No amount of savings is worth the time we spent getting documents straightened out. Not to mention not even getting excursion info.
