CBR in 2 weeks!!

Our very first trip to WDW is just 2 weeks away!! I think I'm more excited then the kids. We will be staying at CBR - I had made my room requests when we made reservations. Do I need to reconfirm these requests before we go? I know that I may not get all my requests and I don't want to seem pushy so I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to reconfirm.

You are going to love CBR! We just got back on Wednesday. Because of our late check-in we received hardly any of requests except for a 2nd floor room. We did all the right things, making our requests on the original reservation and faxing the resort 4 days out. But we went into the trip knowing they were only requests and that they couldn't be guaranteed. So we were perfectly okay with our room in Barbados Building #11 which was about as far from Old Port Royale as you could get. Thankfully we had a car so we could easily drive there. Guests without transportation would probably be very disappointed though. The recently rehabbed rooms are beautiful!

Thanks everyone! I will definately post on how we liked CBR when we get back:) I'm so excited - can't wait! We will have a vehicle so it won't be bad where ever they put us .

Hey, we will be there too!!!! This will be our first time at CBR. We are so excited. We are going to call in to remind about our special requests. I hope that works. Just as long as we are near the main pool and food court we will be happy. Maybe I will see you around the pool, :D . Have fun!!!

WE HAVE A 6 AM FLIGHT. WE WILL BE AT RESORT BY 10:OOAM.

MY SON JUST CAME DOWN WITH AN EAR INFECTION, HOPE ITS CLEARED ENOGH FOR FLYING.

I faxed my requests the day beore we left and got everything including the exact room i had requested.


A tip about the Banana Cabana-Order a banana cabana drink, it is not on the specials board, it is so tropical and yummy.

I also enjoyed CBR very much. The walk to the food court in the mornings was just beautiful. The sun shining on the lake and the pristine white sand was nothing less than perfection. I hope you enjoy your stay. :D

I'm so sad. We just got back from CBR and I miss it so much. The resort is beautiful. Take time to stroll around the entire lake and see the bridges and paths along the way. My kids loved it and the service couldn't have been better. Have a great time and have a pina colada at the pool for me.
