Crazy spring!!!!!!!!We go from no perspiration all winter into spring, now flooding. The veral pool in inching toward the yard.... Glad it not snow!!!!!!

I am so behind on gardening.......I figure I should be finishing the spring work in August.

I know exactly what you mean. It has been a very strange spring here. This is the latest I have put my vegetable garden in - for as long as I can remember.... but we were getting FREEZING at night (not just frosts - hard freeze ups!) right into the first half of May. It has finally moderated and is warming up - but it is still cooler than normal by about 5 to 7 degrees each day.

Well, it is starting to change. The flowers are budding and blooming and it is on it's way to the spring first big show. I thought I would go take some pictures later this morning and share with all of you.

SNOW!!!! That's terrible! I hope it's stopped by now, and melts away quickly!

We were at the garden centre today, bought some annuals and perennials, and all the employees were warning us not to plant them for at least a week, it's still too cold out! No snow here, but heavily overcast and only 46 degrees!

from you NHMickey.

My lilac bushes that usually stand about 10 feet tall are flattened to the ground. I was going to trim them after they bloomed. Hope the pop back up when it warms tomorrow.

Crazyforpooh, I hope your lilacs are going to be okay! :(

How much accumulation did you end up getting? Is the forecast for today any better, warmer?

Sunnier today but still very cool - Frost Warning for tonight.

My lilacs look a bit better but not totally back up. Oh well like I said I am going to trim them after they bloom.

We ended up with 3 inches of snow.
