DF and I aren't sold on having to order prints from DPS of our photos and would rather forgo the folio/album and just buy the CD with all of our pictures. I know the cost goes down if you wait longer after your wedding, but what is the current cost if you buy it right after your ceremony? TIA! :thumbsup2

I know for the MK photo session it is $1,000. I'm not sure if it's the same.

The cost of the hi-res images on disc is $1,000 for Wishes couples who use Disney for their wedding photography, $750 for Wishes couples who have an outside photographer but do an in-park Bridal Portrait Session, and $750 for Escape couples.
After 3 years, the price goes down to $500 for Wishes couples and $350 for Escape couples.
Also: Escape couples can now get a photo CD of all their pictures for $395 if they give up the proof book, online posting of images, and all the albums/folios usually included with each shoot. This includes any MK photos.

Oh thank you so much for the info! I would much rather shell out the money and get all of our pictures on a CD then we can print them at our discretion. So if we do the $750 CD (since we're an Escape wedding) we'd still get the online images and album? Or we can go $395 and give all the extras up? Am I reading that correct?

Yes - and frankly, I'd go for the cheaper package and give up those extras. The albums are pretty standard (and I'd rather make my own ;) ), the web site is only up for 90 days and could easily be replaced by uploading your digital pix to any number of photo-sharing websites, and the proof "book" is completely useless: it's a bunch of tiny images printed on a color copier and spiral bound. You can't see anything!

That's exactly what I was thinking. Thank you so much Carrie! You are such a wealth of information :worship:
