Hi all,
Has anyone done this..? Looking a the "what to bring" threads Am thinking we might have to bring a ton of stuff with a 3.5years & 7 months boys. We're gonin in March for a week .. We're in Sac california, and have driven to DL a few times but didn't have to put that much thought into packing!
How long will they hold packages ? Or Do I need to over night it?
Thanks for any advice!
BTW -This board ROCKS ! :cool1:

They will hold packages for a few days. As long as it's a reasonable amount you will be fine.
Make sure that the label on your package has the following info:
Hold for guest Jane Doe
reservation#123456
arriving on March 1, 2009

Perhaps a silly question, but does this info go in an area apart from the address of the resort or like this :
Beach Club Resort
Hold for Guest Jane Doe
Reservation #12345
arriving on 3/1/09
123 Resort Drive
City, State, ZIP
Or should it be:
Beach Club Resort
123 Resort Drive
City, State ZIP
(leaving extra space between address and guest info)
Hold for Guest: Jane Doe
Reservation #12345
Arriving 3/1/09
Thanks for clearing this up!!

We FedExed with:
Jane Doe c/o Beach Club Resort
Arriving 1/31/09
123 Resort Drive
etc
some people have mentioned including confirmation number if there is room, but I think the name on the reservation and arrival date would be sufficient. It helps to keep your tracking number too.

There are to places where you can get a car ON WDW property one is the car care center and the other is the Dolphin resort but it is national car rental I do not know if that makes any difference or not.I am sure they have a bus that will come pick you up .If getting form dolphin just check hours.I know I was going to drop a car off once in January well new years day but they were closed.Hope this info helps

This is how it should be labelled. The more info that is on the label the better. You should include your ressie # because it is directly tied to you, no one else.

My DH is claiming that there is a weight limit on shipping boxes through UPS because the carriers aren't allowed to lift certain amounts to avoid injury. I told him his wacked. You all agree with me, right???
I mean, we have a good size box with all our stuff for the owners locker and all, but its not THAT heavy. I can lift it, how bad can it be.
(Now, it may likely cost me an arm and a leg to send but thats another whole story).

I believe there is a 70 pound weight limit for Priority Mail packages (that may be only for the flat rate boxes though?).
