Has anyone had Disney Florists create something for their guests? We re thinking about having a Welcome Basket made up for my mum. My df had one made for me when we visited in Oct for our planning session. It was gorgeous  so figured something similar would be a lovely surprise for my mum:thumbsup2.
If you have could you mail some pics so i can see what else they re able to come up with. Have had alook on their website but its always nicer seeing how they actually turn out rather than a staged photo
Thankyou :goodvibes

I would like to also see the flowers or bouquets that people have had made for Disney as I would consider them for the wedding flowers if after i compare them and thier prices to outside florists ...
i'd love to see what they can create!

Here's a floral arrangement done by the WDW Florist that was delivered to our room:

Here's my bouquet by the Disney Florist (I told them exactly what to do, though, so I guess it's a better example of their excellent ability to follow direction than of an original creation ;) ):

Here's our altar arrangement (same note here as above):

ooh thats a really good website - i wonder if you can get stuff delivered outside Disney (i am going there in March and would love to get DF a basket but we are staying outside Disney)
I will look into it- there is so much stuff on the website, but i didnt see any wedding bouquets.... do you not get them there?

You get your bouquet from the Disney Florist by working with one of their dedicated wedding coordinators, so they don't show wedding floral on the site (though a lot of the dessert party decorations are on the site). I know some of the Downtown Disney hotels work with the WDW Florist for weddings, but I'm not sure if they deliver gift arrangements to rooms there. For a floral arrangement to be delivered to your room, you might be better off going with one of the national services, like Teleflora or FTD or ProFlowers. And they may be cheaper! :thumbsup2

really?
I was wondering if people do get outside florists for their flowers and was wondering too if they are cheaper than Disneys? .. they only list a few on their wish book and are not to my taste. Are you allowed to get an outside florist?

It depends on your location. We used an outside florist and we were at the Wedding Pavilion and Whitehall Room and Patio.

I was very happy with Disney Floral. I dealt with Rosie and loved her to death. I sent her pics of what I wanted through email and also had a phone consult with her.

You can only use an outside florist if your wedding is A) not inside a park and B) not outdoors. The exception is personal floral, like bouquets and boutonnieres.
I think many people find that outside florists are either cheaper or, if they cost as much as Disney, give you a lot more for your money. However, since most people are required to use Disney Floral by the location they choose, they usually work with Disney Floral to achieve the look they want at a price they can afford.
In general, what you see on the Wish Book is a VERY small sampling of the options available in every category (flowers, decor, locations, etc.), and the prices are almost always wrong. I wouldn't make any decisions based on it. :thumbsup2
