Are the Dolpin rooms hot in the summer ?

There is no ceiling fan in the rooms at the Dolpin resort.
We have an EPCOT balcony room reserved.

Does the A/C work well ?

Do you have to shut the curtains during the day to keep the sun
from heating up the room ?

Any suggestions ?

I stayed at the Dolphin last July, and I recall that my room was plenty cool with the air cranked up. I DID keep the curtains partially closed, however, while I was out of the room during the day.

We stayed there in late May - temps in upper 90's and never noticed it getting hot at all. Very comfortable.

I upped the a/c to high as we left the room...(anticipating a cool room upon our return)...the room was SO COLD-You could hang meat! LOL...The A/C works very well. :D
