Been away from the boards for a while but I have just booked to return to DLRP for the 4th time. This time we are going to share to experience and are dragging some friends with us. I can't wait.

Just giving you all the heads upfor any questions I mght have. I had a few last time and this board was an excellent source of info.

We are going from 1st June for 5 nights staying in the Cheyenne.

We are self driving and my first question is...

Is it worth booking the ferry now or is there a chance that there might be some discounts in the near future?

MTIA for any help.

Cheers,
Millies Daddy

If it's anything like Eurotunnel, I would say book now. Last year I waited a few weeks before booking our August crossing and it had gone up by about £20.

Thanks for the advice. I have heard a few horror stories about the tunnel. Experienced it once and will not use again. It is about £ 78 for the timings we are looking at. I dont know if it worth waiting a month or so to see if we can get it any cheaper or go for it now.

I have had a look for vouchers on the various sites but they are all old deals. So I know they do deals its just a question of timing really!!

Is the ferry one of the Tesco Clubcard deals? That way you only 'pay' a quarter of the price in Clubcard vouchers.

No, just the standard return. BTW we are saving our Clubcard vouchers for a Merlin Annual Pass.
