Hi all! I am asking for prayers for my 1 week old baby granddaughter. Gracee has jaundice but has been under the "bubble" light that the hospital sent home. The numbers were going down however today they are up to 19. They admitted her to ICU at Childrens Hospital in Phoenix. Thanks to you all ahead of time for the prayers.

Well here is an update about Gracee. Her numbers are down to 11.9 which is good. The bad news is that when they take her off the lights the numbers will jump again. So if the numbers don't jump to 15 or over she can come home tomorrow if not its more time in the hospital. Please continue to pray that her numbers are below 15. Thank you so much for your prayers and even more prayers.

Thinking of you and your family. My DD now 6 1/2 y.o. had the same experience with jaundice. She was admitted at 7 days old to the ICU with elevated billi numbers. Those lights do wonders!
I know how scary this can be. Be strong. Have faith. She'll be home again soon.
Please post how she is doing.

My dd was 3 months premature, but now 13 and well. Having a sick newborn in the hospital is the hardest ordeal in the world. Your world stops and nothing else matters. Please let us know how she is. I empathize. Hugs sent your way.....

How strange.... My browser refreshed after my last post and I saw your report about Hannah. My dd that was premature is named Hannah. She was a fighter and I am sure your Hannah is also. I am new to the sight, so if you have already answered this question I apologize for asking: Why is Hannah in the hospital?
I am so glad to see Gracee is home!!!!!!!!!:yay:
