Just booked Vero@7 month window!!!

I was able to book a 2 bedroom for Aug 9 & 10 at Vero for the start of our Aug. trip. I am so excited to try out Vero Beach. Anyone who goes to Vero, please tell me why you love Vero???

Congratulations! We love VB because it's a very relaxful vacation for us. It's quality time for us as a couple, and with the DGC it's exciting watching them enjoy all of the activities. DH isn't an ocean person, but he loves the resort and ambiance. I get up early to watch the sunrise. I can sit on a rocking chair and see the ocean and enjoy a Mickey Bar! It's a small resort, so everything seems right there. Well, not quite, if I had a wish, it would be that there was grilling on the side of the highway that the villas are.

We have taken the extended family only once to VB and that was in June. (Our next planned trip there will be June '10, Beach Cottages are expensive!) For Thanksgiving our DGC presented us with a garden stepping stone made from a kit with shells from VB (and Cape May) in the concrete. What a lovely way to remember the beach fun we've had together.

I've booked those same two nights today as well but for an Inn Ocean View room. It's our first time to Vero as well :banana:

I go every yr and just love it. We do nothing but relax. Great places to eat in the area too. :banana:

Vero's not hard to book at 7 months during the summer - that's NOT the peak season, due to the intense heat/humidity/thunder & lightning/bugs.

The resort is beautiful - the beach is disappointing. It's a great relaxing getaway, and I'm looking forward to my long weekend over hot/humid 4th of July.

I've booked VB at 5 months out a few times. IMHO, VB is DVC's best kept secret!!! :rotfl:
