My wife went to the health department where we live and got a copy of our birth certificate. It is a copy only----Do we need the orginal? The copy was stamped with there seal. Just wondering, I would hate to miss the boat!!!!!!

The birth certificate MUST have a raised seal.

When you say a raised seal what do you mean?
You might want to do a search, DisneyJumper, as this has been discussed many times here. Birth certificates do NOT have to have a raised seal, since a whole bunch of states (such as mine) don't make them that way. Some have an engraved border instead, or a stamped seal, or other things. The important thing is that it either be the original, or say "Certified Copy of the Original" or something to that effect. "Certified" is the key word.
Hope this helps!

That's what I was looking for. They have been stamped and they do say something about certified. Thanks a bunch.
