I just can't resist. I have to Dr. Phil this one for you. I don't know any of you personally, but my guess would be that she is very jelous of you. She is a pretty lady, but time is startig to become her enemy and that's probably hard for her to accept. Then everytime she looks at you, she sees a very pretty lady who is 20-30 years younger. Now, the photopass pics...oh Lordy! I actually spit because I was laughing so hard at both your comments and the pics! You're mil's 'wally bangers' are um, quite prominent in the pictures! Maybe she's jealous of yours. Seriously, my mil is obsessed with looking younger and prettier. She's freaking 65! And do you know what she wore on our Oct. Disney trip for a bathing suit?? A slinky halter top and boy shorts! I kid you not. I almost laughed out loud and my poor DH was about purple when he saw his mom come strutting out!:laughing: Anyhoo, I think you and I might be in the same boat as far mil's go then! Just don't let her comments ever get to you. It's all part of the puzzle now...she's most likely jealous and feeling her age. Oh, before I forget, I love the prom pose too! What a huge undertaking it is though! It has taken me over a week just to photograph everything- now I need to get started on listing everything- then I have to ship it all :scared1:!

That is an awesome idea and probably what I will be doing if we have a boy this go round! Its just so easy to collect too many clothes and other stuff!! Hollie had so many clothes and some she didnt' even get the chance to wear...so sad!

I love the pic of her posing with Santa's cookies, too cute! I also love the gummy worms on the gingerbread house. That is something my girls would love to add to theirs next year! Although they tend to eat 90% of the house decorations before it's on the house so ours always looks scary and bare!:laughing:

Love all the new photopass pics! The Fawn that Hollie met is the same one Colby met in November of 2008. She was awesome!!

Also I have to say that Belle is my favorite Princess. Last June we went in to County Bounty to check the wait for the Fairies which was way too long but the Princess line was short so Colby decided he wanted to see them. Belle was the only one that REALLY interacted with him, she taught him to act like the Beast. So she holds a special place in my heart.

Yes!!!! I am all about Christmas and decorating! She usually would have trees and decorations up everywhere. But, the past 3 years...zip!!! She did say that it looked really good from the road! She used to make fun of me for wanting a white christmas tree!!!

Yay!! Got a little quicky update for you. It has nothing to do with pics or the trip or anything Disney'ish...but we are going to Gatlinburg next Thursday!!! Woooo hoooo!!

As of right now, it shows snow on that Friday and Saturday!! YAY!!! We are going to take Hollie with us now...she was gonna stay with my parents but she has been having some separation anxiety for the past couple of months. So...we are gonna take her and have some fun! The hotel has an inside swimming pool and she is excited (you all know how she loves to swim!) So, once she gets out of school we are heading up to the Mountains!!!

Yay!! Got a little quicky update for you. It has nothing to do with pics or the trip or anything Disney'ish...but we are going to Gatlinburg next Thursday!!! Woooo hoooo!!

As of right now, it shows snow on that Friday and Saturday!! YAY!!! We are going to take Hollie with us now...she was gonna stay with my parents but she has been having some separation anxiety for the past couple of months. So...we are gonna take her and have some fun! The hotel has an inside swimming pool and she is excited (you all know how she loves to swim!) So, once she gets out of school we are heading up to the Mountains!!!

I am gonna try to start the rest of my report tomorrow morning! So, stay tuned! ;)



I can't wait to hear details! My good friend and her husband just asked us if we wanted to do Gaitlinburg in the fall-hopefully I40 will be cleared by then. We have never been and have no clue what to expect!. She has 2 boys -so we are thinking of renting a cabin for all of us. I sent away for all sorts of brochures and some for Pigeon Forge too! This will be my first time doing any type of mountain vacation! I am such a city girl!

I hope you do a mini-tr when you get back so I can get some ideas. How exciting for snow and swimming-your own little TN version of Blizzard Beach- have a blast!

In the mean time I hope you are feeling well and getting some good sleep! How many more days till you find out what you are having?

It is so nice Jordan!!!!! Its about 4 hours from us here in Georgia. Its just this cute little town in Tennessee with all kinds of shops and things to do. Its in the moutains and its so nice!!!! I will send you some info if you want! ;)

I just read all of your tr report. Hollie is a hoot. Your mil is awful. My mil is ok I don't really know my in-laws as they don't speak English. They can they are both fluent but most of the time they only speak French. They have only seen Alexia (4) 3 times. They have only come to visit 2 times since she was born. We went to see them one time and they keep telling my dh that we need to be the ones to travel. They are both retired and can travel any time. I just don't understand why they have no desire to come and see Lexi and their only son. They have 2 dd who have 6 grandkids between the both of them and they do so much for them but for Alexia nothing. They don't even send presents. They do send money but we are to go and pick out what we want her to have. It doesn't bother me that they don 't come but I can tell it bothers my dh.

Yes!!!! I am all about Christmas and decorating! She usually would have trees and decorations up everywhere. But, the past 3 years...zip!!! She did say that it looked really good from the road! She used to make fun of me for wanting a white christmas tree!!!

I went to a friends house last night..her husband sells ultrasound machines. She has been begging me to come over so he can do the 3D and 4D. Well, he didn't realize I wasn't that far along yet so I have to go back at the end of March for that. But....he did do a regular sonogram so we could find out what we are having if the doctor doesn't do a sonogram next Friday. He gave us his "guess" or his pick if he said he had too. Lets just say this baby is stubborn!!! First of all, it was laying on its stomach and legs closed tight!! :lmao: He freaked a little when he saw the fibroid tumor. Whoa, has that thing gotten big!!! He said he was surprised that they have not labeled me a high risk pregnancy and that they more than likely will later on. Yuck!!!
But, he did give us some pictures of the little "peanut" right now. I don't want to come out and say what he thinks we are having yet until we go to our doctor. But, I will give a hint: whatever wegetwewillbehappy!

Anyhow, I'll be looking forward to your update after you have the ultrasound. How exciting! I'm sure Hollie is going to be a wonderful big sis.:goodvibes

I wouldn't worry about the fibroid with the pregnancy too much. I just recently had major issues b/c of fibriods. I had one the size of a football and many, many other smaller ones as well. They told me all about how it affects pregnancy (since we wanted another child at the time), and basically as long as the tumor is outside the uterus, you should be fine. You may have to have it removed after the baby comes though if it continues to grow or starts causing you problems like I had. But my doctor told me that about 95% of women have at least one tumor and many just don't know it, so it is very common. I know it is easier said than done, but don't let it worry you. Stay calm and relaxed for that little peanut! :) And I was labeled high risk during my pregnancy b/c of infertility issues, but all that really means is that you will get a lot more ultrasounds so you will get to see the baby more often. That's a good thing! So think happy thoughts and dream about decorating your nursery! ;) I'll still be praying for you though.

I have 3 children, 21, 17 and 5! When I had my first, they didn't do U/S to regularly, so I never had one...it was a boy. I had really wanted a girl, so with my second was so happy to have an U/S and be able to find out what I was having....WRONG! I had the U/S, but the baby kept it's legs tightly shut. No guesses even, though someone told me once that girls keep there legs shut more often than boys. She was a girl..never found out til lshe was born either though.
3rd chil....MANY years later.. EVERYONE finds out the sex now a days...RIGHT? WRONG! Because I was older they wanted to do a Amnio with this baby. So they had to do an U/S to do the Amnio.....And guess what that bugger kept her legs shut super tight! The tech siad maybe a girl...then no she really couldn't see anything. We did find out she was girl a few weeks later after the amnio results came back. But I have yet (and there will be no more children) to find out the sex by U/S. LOL!
So long story short, my guess is you are having another girl! :yay:

That is exactly what the doctor said, had he not told me I probably wouldn't have even known! Hopefully it won't grow too big and it if does, then they can just take it out after I have the baby!

Well, we actually never took the nursery down after having Hollie. She only slept in her crib maybe less than 10 times (big no no!! haha) and then we made the other room her room. The nursery is kind of like nursery/play room. We are going to fix up one of the rooms downstairs soon and move all her toys down there so she can have a play room. I feel bad taking her "play room" away upstairs, but she will love it once we get it finished!

I had picked the classic pooh as Hollie's nursery, and it is still up! :lmao: I figured boy or girl it will work! :goodvibes

I have 3 children, 21, 17 and 5! When I had my first, they didn't do U/S to regularly, so I never had one...it was a boy. I had really wanted a girl, so with my second was so happy to have an U/S and be able to find out what I was having....WRONG! I had the U/S, but the baby kept it's legs tightly shut. No guesses even, though someone told me once that girls keep there legs shut more often than boys. She was a girl..never found out til lshe was born either though.
3rd chil....MANY years later.. EVERYONE finds out the sex now a days...RIGHT? WRONG! Because I was older they wanted to do a Amnio with this baby. So they had to do an U/S to do the Amnio.....And guess what that bugger kept her legs shut super tight! The tech siad maybe a girl...then no she really couldn't see anything. We did find out she was girl a few weeks later after the amnio results came back. But I have yet (and there will be no more children) to find out the sex by U/S. LOL!
So long story short, my guess is you are having another girl! :yay:

Oh my goodness, I have friends who won't have an U/S and I just can't do it! I am the a sneak, snoop, peek, etc!! haha I have to know everything. Well, we are going on our little mini mountain trip tomorrow after Hollie gets out of school! Yay!!!!! My parents are going to keep Ms. Fluffy (which I had her in my lap and was petting her and flipped her over and figured out she was HE!!!!) and they are gonna keep Rusty too!
Hollie has her Valentines Party at school tomorrow so once she is done we are coming home and getting ready!!

I sure hope we see some snow!!!! I will update you guys once we get back!

Have fun! We went to Gatlinburg in 2001. It was fun. We rented a cabin up in the mountians and it was so cool. It was pretty new and had a hot tub. (this was before Claire) My other 2 kids loved it, and we had alot of fun doing different things.

Hey!!! We are back and had a really good time!!!!
Its funny, we go to the mountains to see snow and what happens.....its snows at home!! Ugh!!!! I was so frustrated!!! I beg, plead, pray for snow every single year!! I love, love, love snow!!! Well, my mom calls me Friday morning and tells me it is snowing a little. I am like yeah right!!!! Well, guess what!! They end up getting around 4 inches. I have a story for this later on when I talk about our Gatlinburg trip!

I wanted to share these pictures before I finish my TR and also add my Gatlinburg trip.

Hollie started playing T-ball this year. Well, they technically call it baseball (I still can't believe they don't have girls softball in our County! they only have 1 place and I didn't know until I signed her up to play baseball) There are only 2 girls on the team, but Hollie is playing with her cousin and also one of my BFF's little boy on the team. She had a blast at her first practice last Monday! They cancelled it last night because of the wet fields, but she has practice this Saturday morning as well.

Overall she did really good!!! My dad came to watch her. He coached most of my teams when I was growing up. There were a couple of funny moments. The ball was hit to her and we were telling her to go get it and throw it to 1st base, her response, "Where is 1st base?" lol! Then when she ran, she would run on her tiptoes (it could have been the cleats, the very first time she wore them!) my dad was telling her she was running like Tinkerbell!
But, she is very excited to be playing!

Hollie had a Valentine's Party at her school last Thursday before we left for Gatlinburg. Chad and I went up there to enjoy the festivities as well!
They sang songs before it started, but Hollie stood in the back. She is one of the taller kids in her class so they usually put her and a few others in the back, which means to me....Its hard to take pictures!!! lol!! But, when we got there, they had already started singing. She was the only one in the back this time. I guess she didnt' want anyone to scoot to make room. I did tell her afterwards, "Hollie stop standing in the back! I can't take pictures of you!" lol!! Hopefully at their graduation she WON'T be in the back!

Now...I only had one teeny tiny complaint at the party. While they were playing hot potato, it ended up being Hollie and 3 other girls and 1 boy. Now, Hollie knew 3 of the girls in her class before starting this school year. As they were going on with the game, the other girls were getting out. Well, I can honestly say that I see how girls get their "cliques" early on. Now Hollie, she would become friends with a tree if it let her! She loves everybody and plays with everyone. As the game was going, the little girls (who Hollie is friends with too) started cheering for 1 girl. Well, the next person to get out was that little girl. Then it was just Hollie, 1 other girl, and 1 boy. They girls start cheering for the other girl saying, I hope she wins and beats you Hollie and named the other boy. Now, if Hollie was doing that I would have immediately stopped her and said, UM no maam!!! We don't act like that. NOPE, not one parent of the said girls said anything. Now, one other parent did to one of the girls because we all go to church together. But still....so the game goes and its just Hollie and the 1 little girl. The 3 girls start chanting that girls name. Well, you could tell the boys weren't having that!! So, this one little boy was like, "Come on Hollie!!!! Beat her!!!!!" I still didn't like how competitive you could tell these kids were becoming. Well......Hollie won and the boys were screaming for her.

It gave me a familiar knot in my stomach reading about the Hot Potato incident! It is soooo sad that this has to start so young. My son went through that nonsense and it still goes on. He is 10 now and thankfully can sort it out on his own- for the most part. Kindergarten was frustrating though- he had no clue that they were even being mean to him. I think part of it was that he is an only child and doesn't have an older sibling teasing and taunting him.

I tell you raising children is the hardest job, especially well behaved and respectful children. You can try your hardest to instill good morals and values, but once they hit school, or the dreaded playground or the bus:scared1: then it's no holds barred!

She will do great though because you are teaching her how to be a well mannered little lady.

So sorry about the "mean girls". My DD is in kindergarten this year and we are dealing with the same thing. She is just like you described Hollie. She will play with anyone and loves everybody. But that child is so snobby and mean to my DD and her mother never says a word about it. I just will not tolerate it though. I wrote a long note to the teacher and told her what was going on. It's been much better since then, but I told the teacher that if it continues, I will take it straight to her mother. DD says she is picking on other girls in the class now. There is just no sense in it. But the reason the mothers don't say anything is because that is where the kids are getting it from. It really is so sad. I just keep thinking if it is like this in K, how will it be in high school!:sad2:

Okay, so I figured I would post some pics from Gatlinburg! We left after Hollie's Valentines party at school. We actually went to see my mom at work then went home to pack everything up in the truck. Before we left, we had to take Rusty and Mrs. (MR) Fluffy to my parents house. They were gonna pet sit for us! :lmao:

I saw this new resort up in Sevierville that I have to visit one day! Its an inside water park (MeMom...this is the one I think you were talking about!)

Now, we finally made it to the hotel...but I didn't take any pictures of it! Oh the horror!!!

Now we got back to the room and got all checked in and unpacked. Then Chad started a fire in the fireplace (Hollie loves them!) and we watched a little tv and went to bed!

We got up the next morning and decided to go to one of our favorite pancake houses in Pigeon Forge, The Red Rooster! It is so yummy!!!

Now, before we left my mom called to tell me it was snowing in Dallas and that they were expecting 4 inches that day! WHAT!!!!!! You mean, I came all the way up here for snow and they are getting it back home! NO WAY!!
It put a little damper on my mood. Okay let me explain....I LOVE SNOW!!!!!!! I plead, beg, pray every year for snow and we never ever get any! I miss the snow days from when I was a little girl...sledding down the hill, building snowmen, throwing snowballs, etc.

Now, back to after we ate a good breakfast. We decided to drive up to this cabin we always go look at on the Historic Nature trail, which was cool because our hotel was on that road. Here are pictures of us driving back into Gatlinburg

YES.....yes my dear dis-friends...that is a soon to be permanent Titanic exhibit in Pigeon Forge!!! AUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love, love, love anything to do with Titanic. I love the movie!! I love it so much in fact that I actually bought a pattern for Kate Winslet's dress in the movie for when she is going to jump off the ship and also her dress for when the Titanic sunk. hmmmmm....sounds familiar. that's what jordan did to me when she got home from the hospital after she had margot because i was so "nasty" to her at the hospital and told her that "brett was gonna take the baby from her." what i really said was i wanted to let her know that brett was filing a petition for legitimation, which really is just saying he's legally her daddy, and that it was nothing against her but he felt he needed to do the right thing. and i was doing that out of RESPECT for her so that she wouldn't be shocked when a sheriff showed up on her doorstep with the papers. just shows you what kind of mentality someone who deletes someone on facebook has. what does that prove???? that you have the reasoning skills of a 12 year old? :confused3


I know!!! This girl is 28 years old and I laughed when I saw she deleted me! I mean, come on people! Act your age!!!

She actually emailed me today to ask a question about another party in Hollie's class and I totally busted her on it. I replied back to her, "I like how you deleted me on facebook....so cool!" She immediately came back saying she was over it and was gonna get her husband to delete her facebook because she didn't have time for it and that it was just old to her. REALLY!!! Is that why you were having conversations with a friend of mine from church all last night..but you only "deleted" me?? LOL!! So funny!!!

Ok, I am soooo on the same page regarding the Titanic!! The year it came out was the same year DH and I were married. I dragged my poor fella 4 times to see it!:eek: Now if that ain't love, I don't know what is! We actually saw the official Titanic exhibit in Vegas one year and it was incredible!! They had parts of the set, the staircase, parts of the ship and staterooms. The only strange part was that at the beginning of the tour, they give you tickets with a real passengers name on them who was on the Titanic. At the end, you look at this big wall of names to see if your passenger lived!:scared1: It was bizarre and felt really weird to look and see if you made it.

You better model those Rose dresses sister! Those were my 2 favorite ones from the movie too. Do you sew? I am definitely thread-challenged! DH always looks put out when a piece of his clothing rips or comes apart because he KNOWS that I can't fix it!:laughing:

I watched Titanic in high school at the theater. My boyfriend of 3 years moved away for college. I watched Titanic in high school at the theater. My boyfriend of 3 years moved away for college. I cried SO hard watching the movie that I threw up :lmao: It just made me so sad that Leo died and I guess it made me think of my boyfriend with all the love stuff? Ahh we are all crazy in high school, right?

Hollie is SOOOO cute in her softball outfit! I am so proud of her, she looks like she is having lots of fun!

I can not believe the teacher did not stop the girls from being mean. That is really her responsibility. It makes me so upset. Hollie is a strong girl with good parents. She will be just fine :thumbsup2

I have been doing a lot of reading about it and then the doctor spoke in length to us this past visit. He didn't sugar coat anything that is for sure! He said the number 1 priority with the doctors at my office are to get the baby born and make sure everything is okay with "peanut" first...then they will deal with the fibroid. He said I would have some pain, but I told him I had a baby kicking my ribs, stomach, lungs, etc 5 years ago..I can deal with anything! ;)

For our 1 year anniversay, DH left work to drive almost an hour home on his lunch break so that he could surprise me with the Titanic soundtrack in our apartment!:love: It was soooo sweet and I cried when I walked in the door because he had it playing in the background! Yup, he's a keeper for sure!:thumbsup2

Okay, so last I left you…we were going to drive up to the historic nature trail so we could hopefully see some snow that was left over. Well….by this point it started flurrying a little! Yay!!! I was so excited!!!! So, we turn left to go up the road past our hotel and we start to see this a little ways up:

In the above picture, you might can see a girl to the right of Chad. Well…this girl…augh!! She came down with her parents, her dad got in the hot tub and the mom stayed in a seat playing on her cell texting. Well, this girl would come and do a cannonball right between Chad and Hollie. Had it been me she was doing it to, I would have said something. Chad didn’t…he just swam away from her. She did it 4 times and the mother never said anything. Finally I looked at Chad and said, “Please get Hollie away from the kid doing cannonballs in her face!” The mother finally got the hint. She was even gonna let her kids get in the waterfall that had a HUGE sign that said, “Danger, keep out! No swimming!” Come on lady….geez!!!!

Well before I start my next day of our trip. I thought I would share something with you all. About 2 weeks before we went to Disney I was feeling a little weird.
Now, what I am gonna share with you will explain a lot of things on our trip. We all know that things in life can happen at any time. The week we were leaving for the Polar Express I found out some news that would change a lot of things...........I found out I was pregnant!
So, I called my doctor and went in the very next day for bloodwork. My first pregnancy was an ectopic pregnancy so I wanted to make sure everything was okay. They called the next day and said, "Yep, you are definately pregnant!" I freaked a little! I was at the point to where I was fine with just having Hollie. But, I know that God only gives you what you can handle. If it wasn't meant for me to be pregnant...guess what? I wouldn't be! We are all super excited about it! I actually went to the doctor today and we heard the heartbeat and saw our little peanut on the monitor. Hollie went with us and thought it was very cool, but she couldn't understand why the baby wasn't big yet! :lmao: So, that made a big change to our vacation. I spoke with my nurse 2 days before we left because I wanted to be sure what I could and couldn't ride. She informed me she went to Disney around they same amount of weeks I was and that she rode everything and that I would be alright as long as nothing was against my abdomen.
So, that explains a lot of this trip!
My family are ecstatic...they just can't wait!
Chad's dad and his family are so excited!!

His mom, not so much! I dont' want anyone thinking that I just can't stand her or whatnot just because she is the MIL. Chad's stepmom...an awesome loving lady!! That is one great MIL right there! Now, Chads real mom....jealous! SHe never wanted anyone in Chads life but her. When we got married, she didnt' talk to me for 3 months prior to our wedding because I didn't let her help me pick my dress, the bridesmaids dresses, etc. First, she isn't my mom! That is my moms job! When we got pregnant with Hollie, she got mad because she wasn't in the room. I can count on both hands how many times she saw Hollie after she was born up until she was 10 months old. When Chad told her we were pregnant again...she got mad! She still doesn't say much and when she does, she has that "tone" But, you know what.....we are not gonna let her get us down! We are excited and happy and nothing can take that away! She can either choose to accept it and be happy or not. Doesn't matter to me! She told Chad today that she might get excited once she finds out what "it" is! Oh well...............

But, I just wanted to share this with my "dis" friends/family!!

The pool looked amazing at your hotel, like a hidden cave or something. My kids would've loved that! I hear ya on the the whole 'why isn't this child's mother paying attention' at the pool. We have a really nice pool in our neighborhood, it's huge and we always spend a lot of the summer in it. I can't tell you how many times some kid canon balls us in the face over and over again. Hellloooo, the pool is the size of an ocean! Find somewhere else to jump! I usually just say 'honey, could you please stop jumping in front us, we're trying to swim here'. Usually works.:thumbsup2 Speaking of pool manners and crazy parents, one time when my DD was 3 we were swimming around the fountain area. One of those little body boards came floating by so my DD grabbed it to return to the little girl who lost it (she was close by us). Out of nowhere this girl's father comes swimming over, rips it out of my DD's hands and tells me that it's not hers. I was soooo mad :headache: so I said 'hey, calm down dude, she was just returning it your DD.' Then he looked embarassed and said that his wife made him promise not to lose any pool toys!:laughing: That made me laugh!

Loving all the updates! Glad Hollie enjoyed the snow, what kid wouldn't? All your pics were really cute! Too bad you didn't have your mil come along, you could've got some pics of her and her wallybangers!:lmao:

The pool looked amazing at your hotel, like a hidden cave or something. My kids would've loved that! I hear ya on the the whole 'why isn't this child's mother paying attention' at the pool. We have a really nice pool in our neighborhood, it's huge and we always spend a lot of the summer in it. I can't tell you how many times some kid canon balls us in the face over and over again. Hellloooo, the pool is the size of an ocean! Find somewhere else to jump! I usually just say 'honey, could you please stop jumping in front us, we're trying to swim here'. Usually works.:thumbsup2 Speaking of pool manners and crazy parents, one time when my DD was 3 we were swimming around the fountain area. One of those little body boards came floating by so my DD grabbed it to return to the little girl who lost it (she was close by us). Out of nowhere this girl's father comes swimming over, rips it out of my DD's hands and tells me that it's not hers. I was soooo mad :headache: so I said 'hey, calm down dude, she was just returning it your DD.' Then he looked embarassed and said that his wife made him promise not to lose any pool toys!:laughing: That made me laugh!

Loving all the updates! Glad Hollie enjoyed the snow, what kid wouldn't? All your pics were really cute! Too bad you didn't have your mil come along, you could've got some pics of her and her wallybangers!:lmao:

Finally you say….YES FINALLY!! I am doing our update from Disney!! YAY!!!! HOORAY!!! THROW THE CONFETTI!!!! Enough now…lets get back to it since its been sooooo long!!

As you know, after we got through eating breakfast with Mickey and friends, we decided we were gonna ride over to DTD to check out some things and get some goodies from Goofy’s! Yum!

We first got there and I had to go in Basin. I have never been in this store before and just had too! Now, Hollie was with Chad smelling some bath salts when all of a sudden, she runs up to me crying rubbing her nose. He said she smelled some salts too close to her nose. So, I immediately took her out of the store. She was sneezing, crying, and rubbing her nose away. I went into to “Hyper mom mode!” which in turn my dear, wonderful (very sarcastically) husband takes as my smart alleck mode! Yes..he does! He will say it, then I just say something back to him. Hmm, men! Anyways, I took her to the restroom and she was fine after she blew her nose. Lesson learned….don’t smell the bath salts really close to your nose! ;)
DH, MIL, and FIL were all in the World of Disney by this point. I wanted to get Hollie a cute hat to wear to the MVMCP tonight so we were in search of one. Nope, not one that she liked at all! But, I was looking around and did get her a doll that she picked out. While I was in line, (FUNNY STORY COMING UP!!!) I noticed MIL was about 4 people in front of me. She didn’t nor couldn’t see me. I saw her look at FIL and mouth something to him. I am sure it was catty….I am sure it was smart…..I am very sure of this! He immediately looks at me and says, “Honey, she is right there.” I SAW THIS WHOLE CONVERSATION!!!!!!! She turns around and says, “I have been in line for over 15 minutes!!!” Now……I KNOW THAT IS NOT WHAT WAS SAID!!!! I know it!!! But, anyways…I jumped out of line and went to a smaller one. When she finally got up to pay, Chad was beside her because she was buying him a t-shirt and he said she was so rude to that little old lady checking her out!!! This was embarrassement number 3 with her so far!!
Oh wait, let me tell you the first time. When we first got to Pop…they somehow misplaced her pillow and never could find it. She was mad and let them know it!! Then when the luggage was brought to our room, she noticed her makeup case had a piece broken towards the bottom where it had been dropped. She called and complained and here comes a CM to the room to check it. She ended up getting a $25 dollar credit to her room. Hmmm

So, this would make number 3. That poor little lady, I should have warned her!!! TURN AND RUN ONCE THE WALLYBANGER, RED-HEADED-WITH-BLOND-BROWN-AND WHO-KNOWS-WHAT-OTHER-COLOR-HAIRED WOMAN COMES TO YOUR REGISTER!!!!

LOL!! So, we leave WOD and head towards Goofys! We all made some treats! Here is Miss Priss with her treat, which she was very proud of!

So, after we got our treats we went back to the car. It was time to head back to the room so Hollie could rest and get ready for the Wonderland Tea Party!

We were the first people there to get ready for the Tea party! Funny story, we were standing at the door where the CM told us too. Once it opened we were told to walk to the podium for them to check us in. Okay, easy enough. Well, the door opened and this mom and dad literally pushed us to the side so they could run to the podium. The poor CM just looked at them with her mouth wide open. It was kind of funny, but very rude!! Once they walked away, we checked in. They gave the kids a name tag and told them to wait till the CM’s came out to get them. About 15 minutes later, these 2 ladies came out. She told us once they opened the doors we were to follow them inside so we could get our kids seated. The doors opened and Hollie found herself a seat!

My DD6 informed me (that's right informed, not asked!) that she wants an Alice tea party for her upcoming b-day.:goodvibes The tea party at the GF looks so adorable. I'd love to do that for my girls but it would be expensive since I have 3! When I saw the pic of all the kids with their heads on the table, I thought they were in trouble!:laughing: Soooo cute! The pic of Hollie with Christmas tree is adorable!

We stayed at the Poly in October with my in-laws. I love the theming of that resort! DH has declared that the GF is his new favorite:snooty: and he ONLY wants to stay there! Heck, I'm not complaining, the GF is fabulous! We stayed there a year ago for the 1st time and it was lovely!:thumbsup2 I would really like to go when that gingerbread house is up! Your pics of it were awesome!:thumbsup2

Love Hollie's treat that she made! It looked like it weighed about 3 pounds! The folks over at Goofy's Candy sure are generous with those toppings! We made a couple of pretzels last time and they were like the size of a banana! Lip smacking goooodness!

Honey, don't let this woman ruffle you. I KNOW what you're going through. My mil has a real snarky, nasty streak. One night when we were at the Poly, she just HAD to special order some coffee (that's not on the menu) and when it didn't taste right, she let everyone within a 1 mile radius know it!:eek: She said her whole night was ruined (thanks, I planned the whole trip lady!) and just kept on complaining. Another day we were at San Angel Inn and she ordered the chili relleno (sp?). Apparently it was too hot for her even though we all tasted it and were fine. She alerted our sweet waitress and kept on complaining that it was too hot, not good and so on. Weird that a CHILI could be spicy, right? I mean, chilis are normally so not spicy!! DH said that and I about spit my iced tea across the table! Ah, mil's, can't live with them and well, thank God we don't live with them!:laughing::rotfl::lmao:

No, I even asked about it and the lady said it was just a make-your-own cupcake and tea. I remembered from your TR there were grapes, sandwichs, etc. I was a little disappointed. But, Hollie still loved it!!! She talks about it all the time too! I have a feeling she likes it better than the BBB!

I love that resort too!!! It is my favorite. I stayed there in 94 with my mom, grandmother, Aunt, and cousin. My grandmom would take her grandkids (there are 8 of us and she took us by how close in age we all were) on a Disney trip when they turned 7. Well, my trip was in 83 and I went with my 2 older cousins, Leann (who was 9) and Adolyn (who is the same age as me) . Well, the next trip was the next younger grandkids, my sister Carrie and cousin Wes (they are the same age), then it was my younger cousins Jesse and Josh (again, same age! haha) well...the youngest grandkid was Amanda and then the next youngest granddaughter was my sister (who was 14 at the time) she couldn't go because she had a band competition coming up. Well, my mom was already going so she asked me if I wanted too...HECK YES!!! So, we all stayed at the Poly and I fell in love!!!!

I am trying (and this is awful) to get out of going. I will almost be 7 months pregnant and not really in the mood to lay out on a beach and get a tan. So, once it gets closer to time I can really make my mind up!
